Not able to watch the game but following the box score. What is happening that Benjamin has gotten so little action?Only time the ball was thrown at him he went 9 yards. You'd think they'd try it again.[Edited on September 18, 2016 at 2:37 PM. Reason : -]

He just got another reception. Earlier in the game, Cam threw at him but Benjamin was blocking the whole play and got flagged.
9/18/2016 2:38:37 PM
That catch on the ground by Benjamin And then the TD, nice
9/18/2016 3:11:27 PM
It doesn't have to cross the plane if you get 2 feet in, right? i.e., if it had happened in the back corner of the endzone, it wouldn't matter where the ball was located as long as the wideout got 2 feet down.
9/18/2016 3:19:33 PM
That's definitely the case in the back of the endzone, I'm not sure about the front though, if you catch it with 2 feet in but falling forward towards the goal line and the ball never crossed[Edited on September 18, 2016 at 3:31 PM. Reason : $$$]

man, getting sloppy here
9/18/2016 4:12:25 PM
Yep fuck some defense apparently.

Our cheerleadin' ladies look mighty good out there.
9/18/2016 4:43:37 PM
Andy Lee was a good trade.
9/18/2016 6:28:53 PM
Seriously, it was probably the most questionable offseason move by Gettleman considering we gave up a pick and are paying him more than Nortman, but damn was he ever worth it.
9/18/2016 6:59:53 PM
I'm pretty sure rescinding Norman's franchise tag was a much more questionable move than trading for a proven punterlol, Luck just got a call Cam would NEVER get[Edited on September 18, 2016 at 7:05 PM. Reason : .]
9/18/2016 7:03:18 PM
Now it's stared to worry me that we look bad coming down the stretch of the game.
9/18/2016 7:05:40 PM
^^Cutting Norman was only questionable if you bought into his hype during the season as the best CB in the league. He was a product of playing on a great team, and once he started griping about money cutting him made perfect sense. Just ask the 0-2 Redskins.[Edited on September 18, 2016 at 7:12 PM. Reason : .]
9/18/2016 7:12:09 PM
Sounds like some revisionist history
9/18/2016 7:31:23 PM
Every good defensive player is a product of the system they play in.
9/18/2016 7:49:06 PM
yeah ^^ norman was great for us last year - product of the system or not, how great he was last year isn't up for debate. you're right...it was definitely more controversial than the punter trade. just go back and read the thread from when it happened
9/18/2016 7:54:13 PM
Norman was more controversial from a personnel standpoint, but from a money perspective I don't think it was up for debate: he was clearly not worth what Washington ended up paying for him. The most questionable thing was that we did absolutely nothing with the money we saved from not forcing him to sign his tender.

I honestly don't know much about the Redskin's defense, but if what you're saying is true, maybe the $50 million guaranteed they spent on a corner who isn't covering #1 receivers would have been better spent shoring up those other positions? Just a thought.
9/18/2016 8:24:19 PM
We let an All Pro cornerback WALK, but that's not as big of a deal as giving up a 4th rounder for a former Pro Bowl punterlol that hat

They ain't moving shit[Edited on September 22, 2016 at 3:13 PM. Reason : I'm going to the game and clutching my pearls]
9/22/2016 3:12:51 PM
I don't think they'll move it, but if they did would Carter-Finley be an option or would it definitely be Clemson? Raleigh isn't much farther away form Charlotte than Clemson is, plus if they're worried about Charlotte fans not traveling then fans in the Triangle would have a better chance to make up for it. There's only about 40,000 people in Clemson including both the town and the university, as opposed to over 500,000 in Raleigh.
9/22/2016 3:23:50 PM
81k - Clemson75k - BofA57k - CFThat's like 18k fans who wouldn't have a seat if the game was at CF.
9/22/2016 3:29:35 PM
yeah due to stadium size, i would assume Clemson
9/22/2016 3:33:03 PM
If things look rough but seem to be calming down I wonder if they would shift it a day to Monday night
9/22/2016 3:39:47 PM
^I don't see how that's a possibility. But assuming it was, I'd imagine a night game would be a LOT higher risk as compared to the currently scheduled 1PM kickoff. Things are inherently more tame during the daylight hours, as evidenced by the way things have calmed down today.
9/22/2016 4:30:47 PM
Also, the fact that the TV deals wouldn't allow for it
9/22/2016 4:32:23 PM
They should keep it in Charlotte, and bus in the BLM protesters. That would be real, made for TV drama. Drunk NFL bros vs BLM would be a battle of epic proportions.
9/22/2016 4:39:58 PM
God, Barber is the worst
9/25/2016 1:07:48 PM
Looking rough todayMinnesota's defense is way better than Denver's
9/25/2016 3:36:30 PM
Yet again, no answer for a strong pass rush
9/25/2016 3:57:58 PM
Looked completely out of it today. What's the record for number of penalties committed in a game?
9/25/2016 3:58:50 PM
Ugh, this one's on the offense. Super predictable play calling and obviously poor pass protection. Honestly, I'm not that worried because I know we aren't this bad and it was definitely a weird fucking week for the team. Still, that's three out of last four games where our offense was totally dismantled by a strong pass rush. Gotta figure out a way to deal with that. Short passes, more screens, something.
9/25/2016 4:19:19 PM
No reason to lose this game. If our Achilles heel is good defenses then we are never going far.
9/25/2016 4:19:55 PM
I hate the Vikings as much as the next Bears fan....but
9/25/2016 4:39:03 PM
I'm not making any excuses about the loss. But I don't understand how some of you people don't realize that legit defenses like Denver and Minnesota will give an offense troubles.]
9/25/2016 4:42:57 PM
9/25/2016 4:44:40 PM
Cause our offense is stellar. We're the highest scoring offense, disciplined (not today) , and have unique play calling. If we can't do it against top defenses then who are they really going up against? We too have a top defense but other teams are grinding them out. God forbid we can't be a little critical when looking at an elite team [Edited on September 25, 2016 at 4:52 PM. Reason : Hg]
9/25/2016 4:49:14 PM
The offense is stellar, but the blueprint is out there on how to beat this team. Fortunately, the blueprint requires having an elite defense, which most teams do not have.
9/25/2016 4:51:52 PM
This team isn't comparing itself against suck ass teams. This team is a Superbowl team. This team has too much talent. I believe they will be good. But they have clear protection problems and the defenses gets slashed up late in games.
9/25/2016 4:59:27 PM
today felt like the superbowl game all over again, just felt similar, protection sucked but it did feel like Cam was holding a ball about a second too long a lot of of plays and wtf happened to his arm strength on that last play of the 1st half...that was like the worst deep ball he's ever thrown...he had ginnanyhow not really concerned with the offense after saying all that, just got beaten by a good defense, what does concern me is johnson/ealy/short not getting any sacks so far
9/25/2016 5:55:13 PM
Cam's hat lol wtf[Edited on September 25, 2016 at 8:21 PM. Reason : and shirt]
