9/7/2014 7:03:14 PM
still laughing at "maybe he reestablished himself with his back there"
9/7/2014 7:03:32 PM
time for a 3 and out and a loss
9/7/2014 7:03:55 PM
Brown couldn't have run around in the end zone for 6 seconds?
9/7/2014 7:04:09 PM
^^maybe we can call bullshit rule [Edited on September 7, 2014 at 7:04 PM. Reason : ^^]

9/7/2014 7:05:28 PM

9/7/2014 7:05:59 PM
Panthers defense looks tired. Joe Kenn credibility watch
9/7/2014 7:06:22 PM

9/7/2014 7:08:14 PM
where is our roughing the passer?
9/7/2014 7:09:12 PM
of course the game depends on a defensive stance...of course it does
9/7/2014 7:09:21 PM
oh hell
9/7/2014 7:09:22 PM
Well at least we're not gonna hear sports radio flooded with "Anderson should be our starter over Cam" calls tomorrow
9/7/2014 7:09:25 PM
Just another panthers game any way we can find to make it difficult we will.

9/7/2014 7:12:49 PM
9/7/2014 7:13:09 PM
I'd rather just go for that 4th instead of risking a return but whatever

9/7/2014 7:16:54 PM

9/7/2014 7:18:15 PM
those frosted flakes...hahahahaha
9/7/2014 7:19:12 PM
Wasn't a pretty game but a road division win without your starting QB is always a great win.
9/7/2014 7:20:47 PM
field goal meant Tampa had to get in the endzone instead of getting in field goal rangeluckily it didn't matter. good win to start the season 1-0 and yeah it came back to bite us in the buffalo game last year in a similar situation. but it worked out this time[Edited on September 7, 2014 at 7:22 PM. Reason : .]
9/7/2014 7:21:37 PM
road win against division opponent without starting qb...wasn't pretty, but i'll take it.
9/7/2014 7:26:20 PM
9/7/2014 8:20:03 PM
I just got a Steve Smith jersey for the first time last year so I really hope I can get a KB one in about 8-10 years

9/7/2014 9:24:33 PM
^yeah...you're right. we made harder than we needed to. but, again...a road win, against a division opponent, without your starting QB....that's a game a lot of teams lose.OLine looked pretty good too[Edited on September 7, 2014 at 9:30 PM. Reason : OL]
9/7/2014 9:28:19 PM
our WR corps and OL were definitely not the glaring weakness that a bunch of national outsiders predicted
9/7/2014 9:35:42 PM
I don't really call the last half of the 4th quarter bad play in the normal sense. it was obvious that both the offense and defense relaxed quite a bit, the calls were to waste clock and provide deeper defensive protection, all on the idea of a 17-0 lead, an opponent who hasn't done shit all game, and expecting them to just ride it out. The only thing that needs corrected is to keep the foot on the pedal for longer, or until the clock runs out. But lots of teams do this in a game when they feel comfortable with the score and clock. It was just bad judgement on the coaches.

^It's obviously not...but the Bucs looks nothing like a sleeper in the division. We could very easily miss the playoffs and finish 3rd in the division...but the preseason predictions of the Bucs winning like 9 games in a pretty strong division just because they brought in McCown, Lovie Smith, and now Doug Martin is healthy continue to looks ridiculous. It's extremely early. But everybody expected our WRs and OL to be glaring weaknesses, and both looked pretty strong yesterday...especially considering Cam was out.
9/8/2014 8:39:51 AM
calm down buddy. it's week one. that game didnt tell us shit. Tampa is under a new system . their defense will catch up. we got the W. take it. I thought the offense clicked but Cam wasn't in the game so it didnt tell me anything except our wide receivers can catch a ball thrown to them. I'm wary about our O Line going in and out position the whole game. that will take it toll during the long season. I still dont trust the health of our running backs. Defense looks like our defense.
9/8/2014 8:45:14 AM
I was more just joking about how bad the Bucs looked for most of the game...I know it's early. I'm not ready to make any bold predictions about the Panthers at all. There are obviously very legitimate concerns about this team. But I feel pretty comfortable in saying that Bucs are looking like the worst team in the division.
9/8/2014 8:57:13 AM
Glad I'm not the only one that is confused as to why everyone was jerking off the Bucs this offseason. They looked horrible yesterday. The Panthers looked decent.
9/8/2014 10:00:01 AM
Lovie Smith is the only reason
9/8/2014 10:04:13 AM
the backlash from the Ray Rice video doesn't bode well for Greg HardyAs a fan, if he's guilty then fuck him, hope we get some money back
9/8/2014 10:51:21 AM
I don't think it's too early to say that all the analysts calling for some major regression out of the team were fucking idiots. It was one of the worst cases of group think I've ever seen come out of the NFL media. Somehow losing a 35 year old gimp and Mike fucking Mitchell meant we would go from 12-4 to 4-12. It never made any goddamn sense. Most disrespected division champ ever. Fuck the haters, go Panthers. Also, your 2014 Tampa Buccaneers:Fuck them too and anyone who thought they would be >ass.[Edited on September 8, 2014 at 11:46 AM. Reason : :]
9/8/2014 11:41:47 AM
It was a lot less panther hate and much more Lovie Smith knob gobbling.

Charles Johnson restructures:http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2014/09/07/5157945/carolina-panthers-restructure.html#.VA3jIvldWa0

It is the NFL guys, most games come down to 1 or 2 plays and it depends which side you are on. Look at atlanta last year did anyone think they would go 4-12? 4-12 this year might be pushing it but say 6-10 wouldnt have surprised me with all the changes and knowing a few breaks not going our way this year could swing things quickly. I still feel like 8-8 or 9-7 is likely.
