^hahah
9/20/2012 9:32:08 PM
i dont think its as much the personnel as the timid ass defensive playcalling
9/20/2012 9:32:26 PM
The Panthers game strategy is to not let Eli Manning throw 4th quarter touchdowns. If they let the Giants get far enough ahead, Eli won't be passing late in the game.
9/20/2012 9:32:38 PM
oh dweedle
9/20/2012 9:32:42 PM
easiest 3 points ever.
9/20/2012 9:33:04 PM
^ haha, not sure why but that was really funny to me... what was so easy about it?
9/20/2012 9:34:31 PM
with Nicks and Bradshaw and Diehl hurt, who knew the biggest injury so far would seem to be Byron Bell...not that he's gonna shut down JPP, but he's experienced enough at tackle that maybe JPP doesn't break up a couple potential first downs
9/20/2012 9:34:37 PM
here we go.
9/20/2012 9:38:27 PM
first broken tackle of olsen's career?
9/20/2012 9:38:32 PM
lol at we traded for olsen in the offseason.[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 9:39 PM. Reason : well, technically true...but it was 2 offseasons ago.]
9/20/2012 9:38:58 PM
9/20/2012 9:40:49 PM
^That made no sense to me. Who gave who points before what break? You made me think that the Panthers scored and my feed was just slow.[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 9:46 PM. Reason : -]
9/20/2012 9:44:13 PM

9/20/2012 10:39:22 PM
losing to the SB champs is one thing, but this is just embarassing
9/20/2012 10:43:46 PM

9/20/2012 11:04:10 PM
Yeesh
9/20/2012 11:08:30 PM

9/20/2012 11:12:22 PM
Lol
9/20/2012 11:12:38 PM
Glad we got that scrub Armanti off the return team for this epic talent
9/20/2012 11:13:12 PM
9/20/2012 11:14:14 PM
yeah not even talking about twwers, and yes it was basically the one highlight, but stillits like face thinking reggie bush was a golden god and guaranteed top-5 running back of all time because he was faster than pac-10 defendersthough bush played very well last week
9/20/2012 11:16:48 PM
That was bad and they should feel bad
9/20/2012 11:39:27 PM
FecalTime to pop molly and go dancing

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8406098/the-roster-moves-made-panthers-gm-incompetent-bestWorth a read.
9/21/2012 11:33:52 AM
Yeah hurney has definitely just destroyed the panthers these past few years. We are totally going to squander the three years we have left on our cheap QB advantage. It's just getting bizarre at this point. Like what do hurney and mcdermott have to do to get fired? Commit a felony?
9/21/2012 11:46:16 AM
Makes sense. Since the 2003 season the Panthers have just slid further and further back. Close to a decade of ineptitude will get most people fired, why not this GM?I mean, I wasn't even under the impression that the Panthers were one of the more profitable NFL franchises. Forbes has them ranked near the bottom i noperating income (although mysteriously they're 12th in overall value).
9/21/2012 11:46:47 AM
Not sure if this is old news for you timswar, but I think that stat includes ticket sales (94 consecutive sell outs, including the sell out fans that are just fucking awful)... coaching value, and then some other things... but the coaching value is one that I heard the other day that caught my attention. The season isnt over by any stretch... but plural games like last night, and we aren't even 6-10 this year.
9/21/2012 1:16:39 PM
Cam had a truly awful game last night. Starting to remind me a little of Vince Young, especially his attitude on the sidelines and after the game. No good.
9/21/2012 1:34:43 PM
Blowout losses don't add extra Ls to the column
9/21/2012 1:42:25 PM
Actually points for and points against are a terrific predictor of record. So if we are getting blown out it does in fact indicate that we are less likely to be good.
