Not really a flawed team when Anthony dominates the center position all series.

Lol the trolls come out of the woodwork when I lose a bet on a 17 point miracle but silent when I hit 6:1 and 3:1 odds. And I realize trolling NBA threads is kinda the eman's 'thing' but disguise it a little better man. The heat had three specific players play well this series, so get out of here with that "pick a random player and say he dominated " [Edited on May 12, 2011 at 9:01 AM. Reason : a]

Right but he said Anthony dominated. Guy was averaging 5 ppg and 6 reb and he acts like he's the reason they took down Boston
5/12/2011 11:14:33 AM
man the people that think jackson isn't a little overrated must be just people who watch baseball, nba, nhl and nothing else, he's def one of the best of all time but to act like his sheer number of titles is beyond anything else is exaggeratedand for people who disagree, just watch what miami is doing this yr, they don't have a ton of chemistry, gameplan or really a complete team and they are still prob going to win the title this yr before they even have their shit sorted out so I think the point is that superstars dominate everything in the nba
5/12/2011 4:25:28 PM
Jackson won 11 titles in 20 seasonsDean Smith is jealous
5/12/2011 5:05:58 PM
and more than half of them without a dominant big manNo one else has more than two
5/12/2011 5:10:46 PM
Yeh, can't believe he was able to drag Jordan to the title that many times
5/12/2011 5:13:53 PM
What's more likely...Jackson is the best coach of all time, or Jordan was so much better than any of his contemporaries that he was able win titles in six consecutive years that he played full seasons when his second best teammate was either Toni Kukoc or Horace Grant?
5/12/2011 5:16:32 PM
Is D Rose ever gonna be that great?
5/12/2011 5:21:17 PM
No. The shine will wear off and he'll become a rich man's Rod Strickland.
5/12/2011 5:22:59 PM
^^^The NBA had parody back then. You didn't have stacked teams like you do now. An old utah jazz team with two old stars and old supporting cast was the only team that ever challenged them. They also had Rodman who was a dominant non-offensive big man.
5/12/2011 10:01:42 PM
was its parody the CBA?
5/12/2011 10:10:13 PM
hmm bulls have their best game of the playoffs when rose has 12 assists, and 14 shots, let's see what people say about this
5/12/2011 11:10:51 PM
^^hahahha
5/12/2011 11:59:02 PM
5/13/2011 9:56:00 AM
He wouldn't But a certain other midwestern point guard in these playoffs might not be so astute
5/13/2011 9:59:25 AM
5/13/2011 10:21:02 AM
as great as these players are, I always wonder what their education level is.
5/13/2011 10:42:56 AM
As rich as these players are, I do not think they care.
5/13/2011 10:43:31 AM
Stupid as shit, rich as fuck, and proud of itAlso, re: the Westbrook/Durant situation...here's the best analogy I can come up withhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjTpEQWyCjM

5/13/2011 12:56:51 PM
i'm just not really a fan of Westbrook's game. yeah he's fast and explosive, just way too much of a gunner for me. thinks he's a lot better than he is.
5/13/2011 1:26:54 PM
I'm not sure if teams where point guard are taking a certain amount of shots win titles, maybe some historian can call me out on this, I know the 76ers went to the finals with AI taking 35 shots a game, but that was against a garbage east conf, and I think AI was more of a 2 guard, and no way they were going to beat the lakers ever
5/13/2011 5:07:41 PM
It really doesn't matter how many shots someone takes as much as it matters what percentage they hit.If someone can go 15-30 FG then go for it, but its too common that they go 12-32 and derail their team.Rose is a very talented player, no doubt. He's not the MVP though. Teague played about as well as Rose did this series and Collison wasn't far behind last series. Two guys no one would confuse for all-stars.Now Miami doesn't have a competent PG so maybe he'll have a big series finally.
5/13/2011 6:31:20 PM
think it's kinda obvious who Stern's trying to push through this roundMemphis getting no love from refsI want a Z-Bo jersey
5/13/2011 11:24:53 PM
go ahead and pencil in Dallas in the Finals
5/13/2011 11:34:16 PM
I don't think anyone ever envisioned Marc Gasol carrying his team on his back in the 2nd round of the postseason. That Lakers trade doesn't look all that lopsided anymore, which is crazy. Also, I don't think anyone expected James Harden to be the best player on the Thunder this series to make up for Westbrook being terrible (compared to how he played in the reg season)
5/14/2011 3:15:19 PM
Thunder would have gotten blown the fuck out without Westbrook's contributions last night. With the exception of a few erratic games, he's had an above average playoffs. He just hasn't hit his regular season level yet (but it's not like he's way below it either). I'm hoping (and thinking) that they'll beat the Grizz on Sunday and he'll hit his stride again the Mavs (they'll need him at his best). It would also make my Thunder/Heat prediction look a lot better.Kidd is too slow and Barea too small to contain Westbrook. I think he'll put up monster numbers against them.
5/14/2011 4:51:21 PM
waiting for an NyM intervention on this terrible trolling by face
5/14/2011 4:57:44 PM
Im on the Bulls bandwagon
5/14/2011 5:50:53 PM
trolling? I mean I realize the Pau Gasol trade propelled the Lakers to 3 straight NBA Finals and two championships so it was a great deal for the Lakers to make. I'm just saying now that Marc Gasol has transformed into an elite center (unless this playoffs is a fluke, b/c he did struggle some during the reg season) the trade isnt the worst thing ever from the Grizzlies perspective. And Westbrook has been horrible by his standards this series everyone is in agreement on that 43% FG on 21.5 FGA, 30% 3-pt, 4.4 turnovers/game (4.4!!!). Harden has really bailed them out by playing spectacularly. Here comes the neutron bomb.
5/15/2011 1:45:24 PM
Lol I just saw on the last page where Slave Famous posted a picture of Jahidi White when Tractor Traylor died. Traylor played for the Hornets not the bobcats you of all people should know that

Game 7 today should be pretty close. The books have OKC as a huge favorite but the math says they should only be about 1.5-2 pt favorites. Seems like a great opportunity but Im pretty gun shy to take Memphis after that ass kicking they took in Game 5.^ ? What does that even mean. He's a bobcats fan, just picking on him for getting confused. You are a dork.[Edited on May 15, 2011 at 2:46 PM. Reason : a]

Harden is one of the best young players I've ever seen that gets no hype. I think he's going to explode next year with his increased minutes/role.[Edited on May 15, 2011 at 5:43 PM. Reason : a]

hey just for the record I think Rose is going to explode this seriesI can't wait to hear the trolling I get for that until I remind them I picked Chicago to win the series for $500 as heavy underdogs.I can't wait to see how the numbers breakdown for a Dallas-OKC series. It should be interesting, can Ibaka guard Dirk?
5/15/2011 5:54:04 PM
wowjust wow
5/15/2011 5:58:46 PM
Martin thinks the MVP is going to explode this seriesWay to go out on a limb, Martin
5/15/2011 6:01:54 PM
but you're forgetting, Rose is not the MVP in face's voting realm
5/15/2011 6:06:54 PM
according to face, he's not even the 2nd best player on the Bulls
5/15/2011 6:08:09 PM
Keith Bogans should get Rose's minutes this series
5/15/2011 6:09:51 PM
so i guess still no chance of butler for the OKC series I guess, just let him get on the fucking court, I don't think you need to coddle the injury of some guy who's already 30+ yrs old, he's probably going to start aging rapidly anyway, and I don't think his replacement is giving them absolutely anything
5/15/2011 7:03:22 PM
