i picked against the hurricanes tonight. usually (if i make a pick in a game with a team i pull for) i pick against my team. i figure that's a win/win scenario. either my team wins and who cares about the ESPN streak, or my team loses and i get another W. at least that's how i justify picking against my team.

but i fully believe in last year's playoffs dweedle-reverse-jinx.
