i guess the way they're trying to play it is that tony is going to get out of the fbi perimeter operation right now anyway and he figures jack is probably only going to last a day or so more, so he doesn't really care at this point.and he may know about kim coming in, but he doesn't know about the stem cell thingie (right?). and even if they were going that route, jack would've had the treatment by now instead of leaving medical care and coming to the op.but then again, what do i know? [Edited on April 20, 2009 at 10:31 PM. Reason : tony, you're screwed!]
4/20/2009 10:30:37 PM
I think he knew that Jack had it figured out; either way he's about to be on the run
4/20/2009 11:21:36 PM
So things make a little bit more sense now. We know why Tony was working with the FBI/Jack to stop Hodges all this time. We still don't know why he's working with the yet to be unveiled big bad evil conspiracy though. Yeah, he's pissed about Michelle and all the shit that happened to him, but this goes way beyond simple angst towards the US government. He's into some pretty sinister shit right now.
4/21/2009 10:58:58 AM
they are taking the jack sickness a little too far. it's going to a stupid ass last minute cure with Kim being at the airport about to leave then deciding to come back.
4/21/2009 12:18:37 PM
yeah, it'll be awesome. They will just stick a syringe in Kim and pull out some stem cells, put that in a solution and inject it into Jack. He'll be cured w/in a few minutes. STEM CELLS FTW!

Oh look, 12 members, just like another super secret organization plotting world domination.Seriously Fox, just start paying Kojima royalties.
4/27/2009 9:26:03 PM
yeah, the endless levels of people sitting in dark rooms talking on headsets and planning the destruction of the US gets kind of old
4/27/2009 9:29:18 PM
biometric monitors. haha - that looked like a MacBook iChat video with the light sensor to make it look like a thermal imager
4/27/2009 9:32:07 PM
chloe's scenes were the best in this ep - the one in the hotel with her kid and husband was genuineand when CTU was brought back that was pretty badassand then aaron's scene with olivia about how guilty people walk was good toobut overall, still not any action. getting boring. and the super secret organizations are definitely getting old, i agree.
4/28/2009 1:25:17 AM
olivia pisses me off. and the 'convince everyone in 5 minutes to attack now instead of regrouping after 6 months as planned' was silly. don't they know jack won't be alive in 6 months??? it'll be super-easy then!
4/28/2009 7:12:25 AM
I think they are overdoing the whole manipulative woman schtick for Olivia
4/28/2009 4:38:47 PM
I want that CTU background on my work computer. Got pumped when the screens started shifting
4/28/2009 11:41:11 PM
I wish 24 was on HBO and every now and again we could see some boobs
4/29/2009 1:03:45 PM
^ This guy has the right idea
4/30/2009 8:25:08 AM
i'm not all excited about how this season is gonna end...curious how they decide to save Jack's life though
5/4/2009 10:25:07 PM
Kim will be back next hour to surrender her stem cells, which will be injected into Jack and he will recover instantly. I think she said her plane leaves at 6AM. Next hour is 5-6AM. maybe I should have been paying attention more, instead of reading TWW.... but what was the deal with Olivia and Jonah? Who was she considering paying 250k to? Why did they kill him?
5/4/2009 10:47:33 PM
she was all pissed that he was getting off scot-free with a witness protection programhe was behind killing her brother and all that
5/4/2009 10:51:49 PM
yeah, i know - but was she wiring the money to a hit-man? then she chickened out, but the hit-man had already planted a bomb?
5/4/2009 10:55:00 PM
we're not sure if it was the hitman she called or not that took him out yetwith all the connections in the government the bad guys had I'm guessing in the next episode we're going to find out it was indeed an inside job, but spearheaded by someone else
5/5/2009 12:48:47 AM
im wondering if the President's bitch, Tim, is involved in any of the stuff...he seems like one of the show's typical surprise-attempts at mole-ism
5/5/2009 1:01:06 AM
for some reason in the earlier episodes, i thought the chief of staff was the mole....probably because he was such an asshole in shawshank
5/5/2009 1:25:48 AM
^^I think if it was Tim we would have seen a lot more clues early on. He's just been a middle man in the flow chart of information, i think its too late to really introduce him a critical point in the plot.
5/5/2009 8:04:05 AM
I bet her Secret Service Agent had him killed.
5/5/2009 1:18:23 PM
Aaron would never do such a thing. He's been nothing but admirable for the entirety of the 24 franchise.
5/5/2009 4:48:46 PM
we watched a DVR'ed episode of Star Trek TNG the other day (just after watching the episode of 24) and Aaron Pierce was at the tactical station. (it was the episode where they engage in wargames with the uss hathaway (constellation class) with the federation observer who plays strategema and then the ferengi attack and hijinks ensue.)
5/5/2009 7:50:24 PM
Isnt the news guy part of the "secret society" plot? It looked like once he got that info, he was surprised by it because they though they had taken care of Jon Voight already. Would follow that he was the one that setup the carbomb... (def not aaron)
5/5/2009 8:04:14 PM
the pacing felt really off tonight for some reason. I didn't feel any suspense for any of the plots. and it was super lame that the couple that Kim happened to run to for help was exactly the people who were going to kill her.
5/11/2009 10:51:31 PM
yeah when she bumped into that lady and then 2 seconds later went over to sit next to them i was like "well they've already gotten too much camera time".
5/11/2009 10:57:23 PM
i think the male of the couple with Kim now was Duncan Meyer from Seinfeld
5/12/2009 1:34:12 AM
there is no faster way to kill the tension and quality of 24 than Kim F---ing Bauer
5/12/2009 9:34:45 AM
ONCE AGAIN, Kim Bauer gets into trouble
5/12/2009 12:15:31 PM
5/12/2009 12:30:31 PM
i agree agentlion - no suspense whatsoever in the canister scene, even with a minute and a half to go it was like meh....and jesus kim bauer...seriously?! SERIOUSLY?! come on.
5/12/2009 4:56:06 PM
What a fucking shit ass season finale.
5/18/2009 8:23:27 AM
^Er, what? The season finale is tonight.
5/18/2009 9:03:41 AM
The dvds were released somewhere, so its been leaked. All I'm saying is honestly its not worth the time. I've loved 24 since season 1, last season made me really skeptical but I decided to stick around for this one.. and I will NOT be around for next.
5/18/2009 9:14:07 AM
I dont care what anyone thinks besides myself!I LOVE 24 and I am LOOKING FORWARD to spending 2 hours of my night with JACK BAUER!

Heres a quick rundown for anyone who doesn't want to waste your time... This is as much as I remember, mostly the highlights.Pierce and the old chief of staff use the recorder to get evidence to implicate the presidents daughter. The president decides to let her daughter face the consequences rather then cover it up.Jack helps Tony escape, tells Renee he has Kim, asks that she save Kim then he leaves with Tony as his hostage. Tony plans to use the bioweapon inside Jack to make more bioweapon. In order to do so he would have to harvest Jacks organs. Jack escapes by killing a bunch of doctors while Tony makes plans with the girl to get moved up in the organization by meeting the big baddy (guy from Remember the Titans). Tony catches Jack in a garage and tells him that the only reason he is doing it is because he wants revenge for Michelle dying, hes going to try and kill the big baddy. He is going to do so by strapping bombs to Jack, and when the big baddy comes to see Jack he will blow them both up. Meanwhile Kim figures out who the people watching her are with help from Renee. They both get shot, she escapes chasing the long hair guy who is injured. He gets in his car and gets shot, flips the car and burns to death while Kim manages to get his laptop. Using his laptop Kim is able to figure out where Jack is (She says "I used to be a CTU analyst you know" or something like that). Tony and the girl meet the big baddy (who had come to see Tony/Jack), but Tony can't get near him. Before the guy can meet Jack Renee swoops in to the rescue in a helicopter, defuses the bomb and saves Jack. Jack goes chasing after Tony and saves the bad guy before Tony shoots him. Tony gets shot in the shoulder/hand, nothing major. Jack ends up in bad condition from the bioweapon and goes to the hospital. He becomes BFF with the muslim guy from a couple episodes ago, then he goes into a coma. Renee goes to torture the big bad guy to get information but jeanene garafalo or however you spell her name tells her not to (after Renee handcuffs her to the wall). They leave the scene ambiguous as to whether she tortures him. It ends with Kim coming to see Jack and saying she still needs him, and telling the doctor she is gonna do the procedure. End spoilers. Sorry I typed that real fast, probably bad grammar and i forgot half the characters names.[Edited on May 18, 2009 at 1:09 PM. Reason : more spaces]
5/18/2009 1:08:46 PM
i can't take this show anymore i missed 2 episodes and the plot changed entirely. it was like a whole different tv show with the same actors.
5/18/2009 1:09:53 PM
thought it was pretty fair. as soon as the bad-girl told Tony that he could meet "the top guy", though, that's when it hit me that was Tony's plan all along.
5/18/2009 10:18:28 PM
I figured the same. The only way it would have been worse is if Tony was doing it because really all along he was a good guy, and this was just part of the master plan to get to this guy. Revenge was at least a tad better. But it was still pretty awful I thought.
5/18/2009 10:24:11 PM
okokok i'm back.I thought the tony motive was pretty cheesy, but overall it was a pretty good end. I was really predicting that allison would resign and destroy the tape, but that went out the window when her husband said that everything was her fault.

Anybody else thing agent Walker was pretty unconvincing in her little bauer-esque snaps there at the end, she sounded more shrieky than commanding and was practically crying while she cuffed janiceI don't think she has the balls to really tear shit upthe ending was kinda meh, but it was still more enjoyable than last seasonit's still getting worn out and old, (they have Jack's daughter! oh noes!) I think we need a new spinoff and/or a location change to keep it fresh[Edited on May 19, 2009 at 12:29 AM. Reason : ]
5/19/2009 12:28:35 AM
a new location? what... iceland?
5/19/2009 11:09:11 AM
NYC
5/19/2009 11:11:33 AM
so then the whole white house aspect is just out of the show?
5/19/2009 11:12:28 AM
have you not watched this show before? Jesus up until this year it was set in LA.
