^i know the guy that filmed that, and i don't think that he's made anything from it. nothing substantial anyway. we're not best friends or anything, but the subject of that video has come up enough irl and on various forums we're both on that it would have been mentioned by now. as far as i know, it's just one of those great videos that's been turned into an internet classic. perfect example of being at the right place at the right time with a camera rolling.

besides, even if he had gone through the trouble to make sure it wasn't copied/reproduced, it was filmed years ago and it's only one video. it's not until fairly recently that anyone has started making any kind of real money from ad revenue and/or sales of independently produced internet videos of any genre, much less strictly automotive. the few that have become successful are doing it across a substantial base of existing files while continuing to put out at least 1-2 clips a week if not more.
