My wife and I have been talking about getting her fitted with an IUD. she's had one kid so she is a perfect candidate. We had a scare last month when her Nuva ring fell out with out us knowing. She didn't find out until her period came a week early. We still haven't found it. I told her that her vagina ate it but she didn't think that was funny.Anyway, she is looking for a Dr to perform the procedure so hopefully all will go well.

it probably went into the toilet
1/15/2010 2:27:22 PM
How would you not notice it's gone for a week?
1/15/2010 2:28:07 PM
That forum made me sick to my stomache. I think I'll stick with my ring.
1/15/2010 2:53:43 PM
^^ you can't really feel it during sex
1/15/2010 3:03:38 PM
does that mean you can kinda feel it during sex? i'll stick to my pill
1/15/2010 3:07:29 PM
Uhh ... I would notice if mine fell out regardless
1/15/2010 3:08:08 PM
I'm on Implanon...I didn't really know IUD's were that popular in people who haven't had kids until this thread
1/15/2010 3:11:21 PM
I'd heard a lot of nulliparous women say they'd had trouble finding a local doctor to give them one, so I had never brought it up to mine until my last appointment. When I did I was surprised she said she had no problem with giving me one. Now we just gotta hope I have a fat uterus.
1/15/2010 3:21:25 PM
I think I am going to get this if she can make me a clasp on it.It was on etsy. so awesome!I will also check with Mindstorm to see his opinion on it.
1/15/2010 11:37:04 PM
Samwise16TOO WEIRD. I googled some stuff for haircuts that length like, last spring, and that's the exact picture I took in to get my friend to do my hair (she's also done Joie's in shows or something)EXCELLENT CHOICE /
1/15/2010 11:41:08 PM
what exactly is a partial brazilian bikini wax?
1/16/2010 2:39:03 PM
landing strip?
1/16/2010 2:52:36 PM
I think they wax the bikini line and take some off the top if you want but leave the rest. I accidentally booked that once. It's kind of useless.
1/16/2010 2:57:04 PM
I will never again be waxed Maybe I'm just too sensitive or a big ole baby but I tried it out before my wedding and it was waaaay too painful to do it again.
1/16/2010 3:07:10 PM
I don't plan on it either. For how much it costs vs. how long the results last I don't think it's worth it.
1/16/2010 3:09:28 PM
I thought it would be a landing strip as well, but apparently the technical term for that is the "french wax" *shrug*Yeah I've never waxed b4...but I've got two gift cards to spas to burn b4 they expire, so I figured w/ Key West at the end of February why the hell not?
1/16/2010 3:18:35 PM
I get waxed about once every month and a half...after the first time it's not that bad at all. Sometimes it hurts but if you take some ibuprofen it helps. Also don't go when it's near your time of the month..your more sensitive at that point
1/17/2010 11:12:14 AM
I used to get waxed once a month (when I had the $)I loved it
1/17/2010 11:35:03 AM
if you don't mind me asking, what kind of waxing do yall usually get? i also don't have the money at the moment, i havent even been able to get my nails done, but i'd like to try maybe the next time i get paid.
1/17/2010 11:45:22 AM
brazilian my favorite place to go was jolie in cameron village. I forgot her name (it's been a while), but she was diligent - that lady went George W Bush on my vagasaurus - no hair left behind
1/17/2010 11:59:24 AM
wouldn't a partial brazilian be the same as a french?oh , and I cut my hair... I gave him the picture but then was just like "do whatever you want"it's now about 3 inches shorter.
1/17/2010 11:49:46 PM
^^ how many dollar bucks are we looking at?ive never gotten the entire hoo-ha waxed. would like to prior to Hawaii in March
1/17/2010 11:56:00 PM
^^I found a pic of myself with short hair and I really miss itbut the bf likes it long and it's so much easier to deal with at work when I can just put it in a ponytailmaybe I'll make a thread and get tdub to decide my fate^$50 - I would go soon and get it done just to see how you like it. so if you get all red/irritated/nasty looking and hate it then you still have time to find an alternative before you leave*warning* TMI aheadas an alternative to waxing, one time I decided to use tweezers (I sterilized them first) and pluck out every hair on my bikini line. it worked really well and stayed smooth for a long time, but it took a while]
1/17/2010 11:57:01 PM
lol props to you for doing that...hopefully mine won't get angry at me for all the waxing!
1/18/2010 12:04:17 AM
1/18/2010 12:07:59 AM
pur esthetics in cary has great brazillian pricesalso for post wax irritation, put hydrocortisone cream on immediately after you are done waxing, and as needed (per package instructions) until the irritation is gone.
1/18/2010 8:28:44 AM
the only thing I could never get past for a Brazilian is how you have to get on your hands and knees and they wax your backdoor >.>
1/18/2010 10:03:27 AM
If you don't want them to do that part you can ask them not to.
1/18/2010 10:10:39 AM
Ah, that makes it a little better...but even so, waxing did not work out that well for me so I don't waste money on it anymore
1/18/2010 10:14:03 AM
shaving is definitely irritating - i get the worst razor burn, always have, even on my legs. i may as well give waxing a shot.
1/18/2010 10:14:38 AM
it didn't really take that long - it was just my bikini lineand it lasted way longer than shaving/waxing/nair/etc so it was worth it
1/18/2010 10:30:19 AM
how long did you let it grow before you did the tweezing? (is that a TMI question? i don't know)
1/18/2010 10:46:24 AM
1/18/2010 10:49:18 AM
it was about the same for waxing - like 1/4'' it was just enough for the tweezers to grab on to
1/18/2010 10:51:27 AM
um which place do you go that you have to get on your hands and knees? I've never done that before
1/18/2010 8:12:26 PM
I want to do this with my hair but maybe a little longer, think it will look okay with a rounder face... cause I'm fat now... or should I wait to lose the weight... haha
1/18/2010 8:20:11 PM
Your face shape is your face shape, no matter how fat you are. Unless you've seriously put on about 200 lbs.I think it's a pretty cute style that can work on a variety of face shapes, though.
1/19/2010 11:31:39 AM
1/19/2010 11:43:07 AM
1/19/2010 11:52:04 AM
^^ use the same stuff fucking awesome
1/19/2010 11:53:10 AM
^^ ^ And Tend Skin does rock! It's around 20 bucks at my waxing studio, but I'm still on my first bottle that I bought 2 years ago. You can, however, save if you purchase via amazon.com.
1/19/2010 12:17:29 PM
good to know. and i'm curious about this hard wax that you're talking about - i'll have to ask the lady about that.
1/19/2010 12:18:22 PM
The joy of hard wax is that it only adheres to the hair. Soft wax will adhere to both the hair AND the skin, which is why it is much more painful, IMO.
1/19/2010 12:20:08 PM
ooooofascinating. i'll have to try that.
1/19/2010 12:20:32 PM
lucyinthesky do you use anything in particular for exfoliating?
1/19/2010 5:39:49 PM
Any exfoliating body scrub should work. I like Neutrogena and The Body Shop products. I love the smell of The Body Shop's Satsuma line:
1/19/2010 5:49:47 PM
Satsuma is the BEST smell, my bf bought me the oil that you burn on that smell and it is heavenly!
1/19/2010 6:33:32 PM
I think the best part of this thread is the curious boys tehehe
1/19/2010 6:48:06 PM
ok serious opinions. for the next dye job in 1-2 weeks should I go lighter like i do in the summer or should I go red, which i've never done before....vs. [Edited on January 20, 2010 at 12:35 AM. Reason : k]
