a) i am going the 31st - the 4th (of august) to NYC and i checked the schedule and they are home all that week/end and i think if i remember they are playing the diamond backs? anyway, prob gonna try to go to a monday or tuesday game because those appeared to be cheaper than weekend games. i dunno if we should wait to buy tickets there or get them beforehand?? and i hope the food is good because i LOVE ballpark food.

b) well with e. williams transferring things just don't seem to be going their way. however i guess the answer is no i don't think they will be as bad as they look because they always manage to not completely suck. but they're not gonna be that good. sad.

Def use stubhub. You can get upper level behind the plate for $12 to this game on Monday, Aug 3rd.

Also, CF is where the good local food is. Shake Shack for the win and Empire Brewing Company has like 20 beers on draft...

^,^^
a) student loans/scholarship $$ - i try not to spend it
b) i don't buy stuff ALL the time. i talk a big talk. i did buy that one expensive dress at the beginning of june which was bad and was like my whole clothes budget for the month. those dresses i posted in the ladies thread - did not buy.
c) my birthday (25) is next week and i asked for the plane ticket to nyc for my birthday. staying with a friend up there (so no hotel).
d) work during school and during the summer (duh) and try to just use that money instead of my loan money
e) i pay my mortgage in 6 month chunks which i found really helps me budget better because its just something i don't have to worry about. i don't know it is hard to explain. but this way it never sneaks up on me.

this past year at school i really tried to save what little money i earned working on weekends and over holidays and i tried to save up all my student loan money and spend as LITTLE as possible. i also don't have internet in my condo and other stuff like that. oh and i've been out of school since march and working (more than just the weekends) since then so i have more money than i'd usually have now, so i guess that helps? and i nanny. oh and incidentally since i've been out of school since march i've also been living at home (with my dad) which helps cut down on food costs.

^ ooooh. sweet.

condo. very tiny condo.

my parents had to cosign the mort. with me so that i could get it (not so good credit...whoops). but yea. in the hopes that i will get a return on my investment to help pay back my student loans??? however that plan seems to be backfiring and i don't like to think about it.

i dunno i was in debt for a long time and i didn't like it. it was a horrible cycle. i think i learned my lesson or something because now i am WAY better with budgeting and my only debt is my loan. which totally sucks. that is why i try to save a few thousand out of every loan check that i get. just incase something goes wrong (and it has). and i have quasi built up a small savings (aside from the loan money). once i did that i had a little more wiggle room. for like my entire college career i was on the paycheck to paycheck i might have to count out 100 pennies at wendy's to eat cycle. and i did not like

I had a friend in high school who used that book and cut over a hundred pounds.

Then I think he went gay, but that's not the point.

Was that the biggest TWW spotting at Jackpot you've had?

^^ um probably close. earlier this week i went to bada bar and spotted a lot and then jackpot after and spotted a few more.

but last night was definitely in the running for first place. at bada i actually MET a lot whereas last night i feel like i just saw a lot and i didn't know who was who except for the people i met.

^ ummm. i guess it depends on the occasion. but i think i'd usually go with unbuttoned. unless you were doing something super fancy and needed to be ultra classy.

^^^ duh. i want to have a dance fest like every second of every day, its just not always appropriate. last night it seemed approp.

also i can't dance. i kind of just jump up and down.

but i'm sure it will happen again! though it isn't every weekend that michael jackson dies so...i dunno...i think that is what fueled the dance fest.

^^ ummm YES! i kind of wanted that to happen last night but it was SO crowded. i was sweating. that is just gross. i can't even dance and i was sweating.

if you were half-drunk at 830p on a saturday night, would you insist to your hubby that you should go out and be social, or would you stay in (which is probably what he wants to do) and sober up and be in bed at 11p?

i agree with green jays answer

whenever i think about life as a man, i just think about having a penis. i'm not really intrigued by anything else.
