Lol the 2nd horn blast sounded in the crypts on the 3rd they were already on the wall. Gendry been giving speed lessons. Also I guess Bran's story didn't take that long
4/21/2019 10:10:58 PM
Lmao at Tormund
4/21/2019 10:22:09 PM
Great episode
4/21/2019 11:34:23 PM
agreed. and next week, shits about to get real.
4/22/2019 8:41:58 AM
Agreed.I thought Tormund's scenes were greatWhat was the the song that Pod was singing and that was playing in closing credits?A theory I have seen floated out is that Tyrion is the Mad King's Bastard so he is a Targaryen as well.
4/22/2019 9:32:00 AM
Episode seemed like one last homage to a lot of fan favorites before they all die next week. Lots of romances getting one last/first moment. Lots of friends/family reunited for one last evening. With the 70-90 minute episodes coming up, next week should be pretty impactful in terms of major action and people joining the Night King's army. Think this battle is the one that took twice as long to film as the Battle of the Bastards. Wouldn't be surprised if it spanned 2 episodes.

I think Arya will use her new weapon, kill some people, and then it will break or get lost. She will then kill someone using that valyrian dagger. I thought maybe the knight king, but it seems like that is a jon battle after he takes out the knight king's dragon. It has stuck out to me that she is the one that ended up with it, especially as it made its way to king's landing and back to winterfell (and they have made sure to point out it was valyrian steel a couple times recently). It would be poetic for the knife that was originally meant to kill bran be the one that saves his life after it has already been used to kill the person who orchestrated his murder. It would be even better if arya is wearing the face of a wight (she did ask to know how they were and to see this new face of death).tldr - Arya's new weapon is a misdirection, the valyrian dagger will be the one making a bigtime kill.
4/22/2019 1:41:15 PM
I thought the dagger was used to make the new weapon
4/22/2019 1:51:34 PM
did it? I missed that then it looked like the new weapon used dragonglass, but I'll admit I didn't study it too hard when they showed it
4/22/2019 1:56:22 PM
I was under the impression the weapon had dragon glass on one end and valyrian steel on the otheras I'm writing this though I don't remember if she specifically says that, or that's just what I read in post-show synopsis articles that zoomed in on the picture. I do remember that during the conversation about the weapon they talk about valyrian and how he always knew she was rich[Edited on April 22, 2019 at 1:59 PM. Reason : asdf]
4/22/2019 1:58:20 PM
Pretty sure she still had her dagger when he gave her the spear. The spear is double ended dragon glass.
4/22/2019 2:01:34 PM
I don't seem to be right, so disregard
4/22/2019 2:08:53 PM
so jamie is definitely azor ahai right?
4/22/2019 4:13:01 PM
Depends on which fan theory you wanna believe i suppose. Theres one out there for almost every character left alive
4/22/2019 10:57:36 PM
So Jamie is the new odds on favorite to be the first major character to die this season.Who does everyone else think will be the first to die in Battle of Winterfell. I am going with Grey Worm
4/23/2019 9:01:13 AM
^I'd actually be surprised if Jaime died in this battle. Seems like him dying would be a waste of the entire Bronn scene they setup in the 1st episode. I'd say Grey Worm, Brienne, Tormund, Theon, and Jorah are all extremely likely to die in this battle. Gendry, Podrick, Davros, and Beric are all pretty likely to go down this battle. I'd put the odds much higher for Tyrion to go down this episode than Jaime. Especially with Tyrion's line last episode about joining the Night King's army and going after Cersei himself.
4/23/2019 9:39:53 AM
They hammered us with how safe the crypts are so guaranteed pretty much everyone in the crypts will die...which means Tyrion is a good guess to be one of the first main characters.
4/23/2019 11:04:19 AM
Here is my list of who I think will die - Grey Worm (you can't be planning for what to do after the war), Brienne (story is complete), Jorah (story is complete, even had discussion with his cuz and dany said he would have been her hand), theon (story would be complete if he sacrifices himself for Bran or winterfell). Not sure what else Pod, Davos, or Beric have left to add to the story, so wouldn't be surprised if they die. Arya's story also seems complete, maybe one more faceless man magic trick.Seems to me that Tyrion has something left to prove, unless he ends on a low note after being dressed down by Dany and getting outsmarted by his sister. Plus it sounds like there is one more story with Bronn/Tyrion/JaimeWould assume they come out alive - Jon, Dany, Cersei
4/23/2019 11:33:15 AM
I think Brienne will die saving JamieI'm a bit skeptical Jorah is going to die now that he has Valyrian steelSpeaking of, it's surprising to me the people with Valyrian steel can just do what they want with it, you'd think the people in charge would be trying to control it better
4/23/2019 12:37:06 PM
Like what? Everyone that has one, except ironically Jaime, is a great fighter and well equipped to handle their steel. I suppose, if anything, Jon could loan Longclaw to the Hound or Beric, but then he'd be screwed if the dragons are grounded.I guess Jaime could be convinced/coerced to loan out WW but that might hurt the morale of someone there voluntarily.
4/23/2019 12:42:24 PM
I read that jamie is credited with being in all 6 episodes...so if he dies...it wont be in episode 3, 4 or 5.
4/23/2019 1:47:05 PM
I like the fan theory that the many faced god is disguised as Arya right now. He/she could really mess with some people's heads in Winterfell. Not everything lines up, but it makes it more plausible that she bled out in Braavos.
4/23/2019 2:24:57 PM
^^regardless of whether it's accurate why would you post that??
4/23/2019 2:27:01 PM
4/23/2019 2:57:42 PM
Jamie being credited for 6 episodes doesn't mean anything. Even if those credits are accurate, he could be in flashbacks, etc. There is so much money on this show they probably give all of the cast members bogus credits until the season is over, otherwise everyone would be basing their pool picks / bets / etc. on that.
4/23/2019 3:34:32 PM
Any chance that the lands the White Walkers were looking at was actually Kings Landing?
4/23/2019 11:35:34 PM
4/24/2019 7:36:30 AM
^^no for about 8 obvious reasons, but mainly bc it isn't snowy like that in KL yet
4/24/2019 8:57:54 AM
Jaime will make it back to Kings Landing because he's brother that was prophesied to kill Cercei. Double back-up to this theory if you believe that Tyrion is actually also a Targaryen (so only a half-brother to Cercei/Jaime). I also never truly believed that Cercei was pregnant, but just using the idea of it to manipulate Jaime and others.
4/24/2019 9:25:01 AM
the night king is probably flying the dragon to king's landing
4/24/2019 2:24:27 PM
I'm picturing him doing it while screaming weeeee]
4/24/2019 2:40:47 PM
So the Night King burns Kings Landing, Danny retreats back there, realizes the throne isn't as important as she thought it was. Her and Jon pull a Duncan and co-rule or give up the crown completely and let Gendry, Arya, Sansa, something to that effect rule the 7 Kingdoms and all is well...As for Cersei's baby, she will die by the sword from Jamie, he will cut out his baby C section style and it survives.Obviously the Night King wants Bran, and I believe Little Sam or his mother have a lot to do with the Night King. The fight between the Hound and the Mountain is what I am looking forward to.
4/24/2019 2:45:52 PM
the night king going to kings landing is the only way we can get all these characters back to kings landing.
4/24/2019 2:57:22 PM
The meat slappin between Tormund and the Big Woman is what I am looking forward to.
4/24/2019 4:04:42 PM
Tormund by far is my favorite character, I hope Brienne decides to give him a shot.[Edited on April 24, 2019 at 5:16 PM. Reason : j]

4/26/2019 10:39:10 AM
3 eps left and the main villain is already dead. Interesting strategy.
4/28/2019 10:27:21 PM
I mean...its game of thrones. One king is dead, now time to get the mad queen. Not happy with how the night king went down. Just seemed kinda lazy, but im sure im alone in that thinking
4/28/2019 10:32:24 PM
RIP Lady Mormont
4/28/2019 10:36:20 PM
What a shitty episode.
4/28/2019 10:37:28 PM
Ya'll are hard to please. That shit was badass.
4/28/2019 10:42:13 PM
The lighting was terrible and it all felt very anticlimactic and lazy. I mean, 8 seasons of hyping up the night king and he dies to basically deus ex machina? Also, waaaay more main characters should have died. Sam and Grey Worm should have died at least like 5 times.
4/28/2019 10:44:45 PM
^ agreed on the more people dyingNot sure what you expected on the night king thoughA sneak attack is the only thing that could have worked really, once the main forces are decimated.
4/28/2019 10:47:56 PM
Lol. Anti-climactic? You must be joking.
4/28/2019 10:49:32 PM
HolyFuckingShit
4/28/2019 10:50:01 PM
^^ It became more and more predictable as the amount of plot armor that characters were wearing started showing
4/28/2019 10:51:22 PM
It's cool and all that Arya was the hero there, but the are so many questions about the night king going down. Would've been so much better if the night king bowed down to Bran and then it cut to black
