Anybody got a recommendation for a skeet/trap/clay shotgun? Thinking semiauto or over/under. I'm interested in a Stoeger Condor personally, but never fired one. Most of my shotgun experience is with a Mossberg 500, but don't think a pump is the best choice for this type of shooting.

Also anybody ever shot at or been a member at Durham County Wildlife Club?

I have a Stoeger Condor. I think it's a good value considering the eye-popping prices of over-under shotguns. It's given me zero issues.

In my experience, it's hard to buy a semi-auto new that you know will cycle skeet rounds with 100% reliably. A lot of semi-autos need fiddling with ports and springs to reliably cycle light bird loads. I went shooting with some friends a while back. We had two Browning Maxus shotguns. Both bought during the same month with a similar number of rounds through them. One had zero issues and the second would fail to cycle every few rounds; both shooting from the same box of shells. That said, I've been wanting to try Stoeger's M3K. The design come from Benelli.

^you are correct. Walk in, fill out a form 4473. Some stores will immediately run a background check. Others won't. Pay them and walk out. That simple.

If you have your CCW and no recent pending charges or convictions should be almost instantaneous. I've noticed with my recent purchases... If I don't include my social it takes about 10 minutes. If I do... its almost instantaneous.

You need your DL and if the address doesn't match your permit, it's invalid. Otherwise, just show your cards and fill out the form.

Since you've said they're inherited, this is just a friendly reminder that in NC you need to obtain a purchase permit or a concealed carry permit to take possession of those handguns. My understanding of the law is that taking possession of inherited firearms carries the same legal burdens as a private sale.

I paid $450+Tax from Bass Pro plus $75 for the Ronin OWB Holster + $30 for mag with pinky extension. And it is almost new, only 200 rounds.

So almost $600 total I spent and I'm only asking $450. How is that not fair?
