Yeah lots of exciting stuff. Carol is such a cunning badass. And Morgan is a literal badass. Sucks he walked up on Rick killing a human after he was saying something about every life is precious, might cause a rift. But when he gave Daryl the map with Rick's note I was like "oh shit!"And the box truck "trap" that the "Wolves" setup adds some suspense for next year. We know there are wolves in the area.
3/29/2015 11:06:44 PM
Were the 2 wolves at the end the same ones that Morgan beat up? I know he locked them in the car, but they could've gotten out, I suppose. And I'm still confused about the wolves. Do they trap people, kill them, mark them with a W, and that's it?
3/30/2015 5:52:44 AM
who was the dude the wolves killed by slitting his throat?
3/30/2015 7:03:50 AM
the guy they killed by slitting his throat was the guy in the red coat that darryl and the other guy were spying on. The guy rubbing leeks on his face.

i must have outright missed that part, i wasn't paying much attention during the early parts [Edited on March 30, 2015 at 8:24 AM. Reason : i'm assuming the photos were explained at some point earlier too]
3/30/2015 8:23:38 AM
^Aaron dropped his bag during the rescue from the car and escape with Morgan.
3/30/2015 8:29:21 AM
I think the photos might have fallen out of gay guys pack when he jumped out of the vehicle. He is observation person for Alexandria.[Edited on March 30, 2015 at 8:30 AM. Reason : ^]
3/30/2015 8:29:32 AM
^The photos were in the bag that Aaron dropped. He brings photos of Alexandria to help prove to people that he isn't lying when trying to recruit them.I don't think they were the same two wolves. He did lock them in the car but he also beeped the car horn (do car horns work if the battery is dead?) to attract zombies. It is definitely feasible that they got out though.A few questions -- Why should the wolves be considered a major threat? Morgan took out two of them with barely any effort at all. Their gun didn't even have bullets. Between them, they only had that one gun and one knife? Morgan didn't even have to use any of his own guns. Given he is probably a special case since he is a badass but just about any member of Rick's crew would have no problem fighting the wolves if this is the state they are in. They just seem like savages driven by desperation. Even after a few weeks of training, the Alexandria folks would know how to fight. When did Morgan become Donatello with that staff? The first time we saw him with it was the little teaser at the beginning of the season when we saw he was using it as a hiking stick when tracking Rick & co. When we saw him before that, he was going crazy in that small town after his son died. Anyone with martial arts experience-- is that the kind of thing that someone could learn from a book or something? I guess it is possible that he encountered some kind of martial arts master during his travels that taught him how to use it, or maybe he already studied before the outbreak but that seems unlikely.Sidenotes: Alexandria just lost their only doctor and only engineer. They are gonna need someone to learn how to maintain those walls asap. Also, lol at how much character development Carol has. She is so different compared to how she used to be in Season 1. lol at her "I could kill you right now. Come at me, bro" moment.[Edited on March 30, 2015 at 9:36 AM. Reason : ]

They were in arron's bag that he dropped after he exited the car. He carries them around to show recruits how nice Alexandria is. He showed them to Rick's group. And I think Carol's act is a little over the top.
3/30/2015 9:39:09 AM
I thought it was a good episode. I'm glad there were no major cliffhangers or deaths.I don't know why or how we got into the habit of having to have a major character die at the end of a show's season. Or a major cliffhanger. If the show is good enough, people will come back the next season regardless of how the previous one ended.I bet Nagan will end up being the leader of the wolves in the show. Think about it. All those zombies with the W carved in their head - doubtful they were carved while in a zombie state. I think all of those zombies had the W carved while either alive, or shortly after dying. The wolves are a bigger operation than the producers have led us to believe.
3/30/2015 9:45:18 AM
After watching I started to wonder if Carol really went over there to try and keep the guy in line and be a badass...or perhaps she knew that kind of display would cause him to do something stupid later (since she's familiar with the thinking someone like that has)And if that was the case, than it would make sense that it was a bit of an act on her part...trying to provoke a response
3/30/2015 9:47:10 AM
btw, where was that guy getting all that alcohol? He was in a completely different house. Surely nobody in a sober state of mind would think it was a good idea to run up to the meeting swinging a sword around, especially when it seemed like the folks at Alexandria were on his side.
3/30/2015 9:49:07 AM
3/30/2015 9:55:05 AM
Ah well if he is going to those extreme measures to keep them alive he is definitely gonna have issues with Rick shooting the abusive husband, especially after he didn't even hesitate. Also, Abraham is quickly becoming my favorite character. Between his "Motherdick" comment a few weeks ago and his description of how the outside of the walls are full of shit, I'm just loving his oratory skills.[Edited on March 30, 2015 at 10:02 AM. My one question...Alexandria has electricity. Why did they have the meeting in the dark outside? Another question... did Glen ever make it back? III

Y'all need to learn to put your phones and computers away and pay attention to the damn show.
3/30/2015 10:06:10 AM
he was helping the coward get back at the endI guess Morgan is finally part of the groupI don't know if the wolves have anything to do with the person mentioned above, I could see it going either wayI guess wait till Oct, with some fear during the summerwhat did the side of the van say at the end? wolves something]

Well my main point with Morgan and the staff was that he was doing all these crazy spins and stuff. Michonne with the sword was mostly just slicing and dicing, not carving stuff up like a ninja. Its one thing to be good with a staff against zombies who are slow and predictable, but doing all those moves against a thinking human opponent is completely different.
3/30/2015 11:22:33 AM
I dunno, man. There wasn't anything all that flashy -- nothing a kid couldn't pick up pretending to be Donatello. Still, I think if anything it's intended to show how long he's been on his own and to characterize his "All life is precious mindset." You can kill someone with a staff, but it requires more effort and is a lot likely. Plus, it has the added benefit of not being as openly menacing as a holstered gun or machete.
3/30/2015 11:59:20 AM
Chris Hardwick said something to the effect of him having Jedi training. And it was pretty impressive how handily he defeated the wolves, and how he took out a few dozen walkers while saving Daryl and Aaron from the car. That's not something a normal person could just learn in a few months. Of course, all we know of Morgan after he appeared with his son in the first season is that he went kinda crazy and booby-trapped an entire town. WE have no idea what he did before and after he left that town. He's probably had plenty of time and experience to become extra-skilled with the staff, I guess.
3/30/2015 12:05:22 PM
How did Morgan know to find Rick near Alexandria? how did he even know to go that direction?
3/30/2015 12:57:03 PM
magic
3/30/2015 1:20:54 PM
In the church in Georgia (I think) Morgan found a map of DC with "Rick Grimes" written on it (see last page for a pic of the map). So I guess he must have picked up his trail in Georgia to find the church, then he started heading to DC and maybe picked up their trail somehow. Again, he got some Jedi training. Can somebody give the details about the map? Who wrote "Sorry, I was an asshole, come to Washington. The new world's gonna need Rick Grimes"? Was it Abraham? I don't remember.
3/30/2015 1:29:40 PM
Think the map was written by Abraham. Rick didn't want him to go ahead to Washington and they had a fight about it...then he left but wrote the note on the mapAs has been said, Morgan was on his way to DC due to the map he found. As for how he went out of his way to Alexandria, he said in the episode last night that he was lost
3/30/2015 1:55:09 PM
^(and when morgan found darryl and aarron, they were about 50 miles away from alexandria)

3/30/2015 2:26:55 PM
I don't think Morgan was actually lost. I think that was just his way of asking folks if they knew Rick without actually asking them. Just show them the map.
3/30/2015 2:34:34 PM
Hey, was there suppose to be symbolism in the Preacher going out in a white shirt, killing 2 zombies and getting no blood on him? .... thought that was very odd III
3/30/2015 2:48:32 PM
How about the guy in the red jacket being attacked by the Wolves...red riding hood reference?
3/30/2015 2:58:16 PM
^^ i took the white shirt and dark pants as symbolism of his internal conflicts with which side to choose in his mind: dark pants -> trying to kill himself and take whoever he can with him; white shirt -> wanting to survive and help others, also to be a man of God.^ i took the red poncho guy being attacked as a Star Trek reference. [Edited on March 30, 2015 at 3:24 PM. Reason : .]
3/30/2015 3:23:05 PM
but why did he go out and use a noose to slice the zombies head-off? i assumed he was going out to kill himself, but he must of planned the decapitation since he was carrying the noose.[Edited on March 30, 2015 at 3:28 PM. Reason : nm, the noose was already around the zombie's neck V yeah]
3/30/2015 3:24:49 PM
^ the noose was already around the zombie's neck. he wanted to off himself by way of zombie feasting on him. in my mind to atone for his sins of being a coward in his Church.
3/30/2015 3:26:06 PM
jesus christ, you people
3/30/2015 3:31:28 PM
I thought the guy in the poncho was a Backstrom reference
3/30/2015 3:48:53 PM
I'm real tired of the preacher. I was hoping he would die. Sasha's whiny "I'm gonna take a nap on these dead bodies" stuff is annoying too. Everyone else has lost/been through just as much as her and they are dealing with it. I was kinda hoping her and the preacher would just kill each other.
3/30/2015 4:05:55 PM
I don't think anyone cares about either of those two characters. In the end, while their stories and trauma might be as accurate as you can get, they just haven't spent enough time on their back stories for me to care about what happens to them at all. Conversely to this, I cared a lot more about Bob, who joined the show after Sasha. So to me, they've either made a bad choice to focus on those two so much, or they made a bad choice of not giving them enough previous screen time.Hell, I even cared more about Noah
3/30/2015 4:10:44 PM
Sasha and Gabriel should have entered into a Murder/Suicide pact, brought the number of african american cast members back down to an acceptable level of 1 and then never be mentioned again. Almost like when the one Winslow daughter went up to her room and was never seen again for 7 seasons.]
3/30/2015 4:45:38 PM
It was pretty silly how it ended with Maggie, Sasha and Gabriel sitting in a circle and praying.
3/30/2015 4:50:12 PM
^^You mean the Winslow daughter then got sent to her room for 7 seasons because she liked to suck cock on camera?
3/30/2015 4:58:39 PM
that only happened because carl and harriet disowned her.
3/30/2015 6:54:18 PM
On Talking Dead, the actor who plays Morgan said he got some hardcore staff training to prepare for the role. Hopefully they will come up with something plausible in Morgan's side story to explain his staff development.
3/30/2015 7:08:10 PM
Yes, I hope they spend the entire first episode chronicling his staff skill development. Otherwise there is no way I could believe this show is like reality.
