Well the babies were not dead (IIRC) when they were turned, whereas the dragon and other wights were.... surely that makes a difference in what they have become as far as strengths/vulnerabilities/etc? I was under the impression the babies were being turned into White Walkers by the Night King to be his sidekicks, though unsure how that works exactly. WebMD doesn't have that article yet.

What if the dragon is just a normal wight that is vulnerable to fire?Dragon goes for its first fire breath and just drops dead from its vulnerability. Quite the miscalculation by the feared Night King.
8/22/2017 7:01:52 PM
Touched by Night King = WalkerNot touched, but resurrected = wright
8/23/2017 7:46:34 AM
^^I'd say there is 0 chance the dragon will breathe fire, whatever it is. I'd say if it's a wight it breathes nothing, if a walker, it would be frost or some shit
8/23/2017 8:25:49 AM
Hard to say what un-Viserion will be since we've never seen what happens when a magical creature gets turned. Remember Dragons aren't just big flying lizards, they are "fire made flesh" and are governed by magical, not physical rules.

Y'all are Shrike is overthinking this. The ICE DRAGON is gonna breath ICE.[Edited on August 23, 2017 at 12:58 PM. Reason : .]
8/23/2017 12:42:59 PM
We don't know if it is an "ice dragon" but that's what I said 2 posts up
8/23/2017 12:44:20 PM
blue fire homies.
8/23/2017 4:31:16 PM
If Tormund dies before he gets to Hulk Smash Brienne's guts it might be the greatest tragedy in history
8/23/2017 4:35:58 PM
^^ Everyone knows the blue part of the flame is the hottest

No Miguel Sapochnik = Lowered expectations for the finale
8/23/2017 10:20:39 PM
Have we had a flashback yet this season? I wonder if they'll do one in the finale, like the Tower of Joy last season. There were rumors of the Tourney at Harrenhal, where Rhaegar publicly showed his interest in Lyanna Stark.
8/25/2017 11:39:19 AM
From a story standpoint, that seems like wasted time. They already told that story, right?
8/25/2017 12:08:29 PM
I feel that whole tourney could be a season itself. So many things happened that setup everything
8/25/2017 7:13:16 PM
I for one want episodes on the Blackfyre Rebellions. Cast a young Von Sydow type as the Bloodraven
8/26/2017 8:56:50 AM
BTTT!
8/27/2017 7:41:48 PM
Looks like the icy sea from previous credits was maybe just an illusion from the clouds because when they showed East watch tonight the sea didn't look frozen
8/27/2017 9:18:59 PM
I'd like to formally apologize to shrike and all others I may have offended for saying the ice dragon was going to breath ice. Should have seen that coming.
8/27/2017 10:41:01 PM
i said the dragon would def not breathe fireso now i just maintain that its pretty dumb that the ICE guy who's followers main weakness is FIRE now rides a flamethrower. Will they do something weird like say the wights arent affected by blue fire?anyway, that scene was kinda goofier then they intended to me, i think most close shots of someone on a dragon look a little too goofy thoughafter all that shit talking though, that was a great ep, tons of resolution to hold us for 1.5 years.although incest is still gross
8/27/2017 10:54:48 PM
Kinda disappointed they had to spell out the "jon is a targaryen" thing. Figured that was quite obvious at this point. But im not mad at how they did it.So jon snow is actually Aegon Targaryen
8/27/2017 11:02:34 PM
So Jon Snow is actually an aunt fucker
8/27/2017 11:06:30 PM
Jon is not going to be happy about this news.
8/27/2017 11:18:33 PM
So uh... why didn't Lyanna just send a raven to Winterfell and be like "It's cool, dad. He didn't kidnap me. No need for you and bro to come get me"
8/28/2017 12:53:07 AM
8/28/2017 6:46:02 AM
Jon's gonna be likehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVFjaOyAWd4&feature=share
8/28/2017 7:40:57 AM
Also, now we know he not only has Targaryen blood, but the marriage was legit so he's heir. Makes things even more complicated for his romance.
8/28/2017 7:51:06 AM
We already knew that
8/28/2017 8:34:56 AM
WE knew but now Bran and Sam have put their heads together and figured it out.
8/28/2017 8:41:26 AM
I mean, they know it, but it's going to be fairly tough to prove it. Sam has burned his bridges with the Maesters so doubtful they let him get back to the writings to show the proof in the diaries. And I don't think Bran saying "I'm the Three-Eyed Raven" is going to be enough proof for anyone.
8/28/2017 8:50:51 AM
I thought Sam took those books. But maybe he didn't since he didn't pull them out when Bran asked if he was sure. What did the Hound mean when he told the Mountain "You know what is coming for you" or something like that
8/28/2017 8:58:17 AM
That he, the hound, will kill him and not something else
8/28/2017 9:03:49 AM
I don't want to be a complainer, because overall I really loved the finale, BUT...After 7 seasons focusing on the Wall and wondering how the army of the dead was going to get past it, they finally do by using the dragon they recently and unexpectedly acquired? What exactly was their plan before that?
8/28/2017 9:10:11 AM
^^ok, that was the only thing I could think of but the way he said it made it sound like it was something or someone else.
8/28/2017 9:15:10 AM
^^It's possible the dragon was the plan the whole time.
8/28/2017 10:07:27 AM
Appears that the Night King has been a step ahead the whole time. He lured them into a trap when they came to look for a wight and then waited knowing that they would send for help (most likely dragons since they could get there fastest). He had 3 spears ready so it cant be coincidence.Makes you wonder if the NK has greensight as well similar to Bran. [Edited on August 28, 2017 at 10:13 AM. Reason : aa]
8/28/2017 10:12:04 AM
If it turns out the Night King has the ability of foresight sure, but until we get that information I'll be annoyed by it. And if it that does happen, and they lose, which seems likely, why can he see one event but not the other?Anyone think Tyrion's up to something? I'm not feeling great about the fact that we don't get to see how he convinces Cersei to "agree" to the truce and that he's clearly very jealous of Jon/Aegon
8/28/2017 10:13:44 AM
I'm beginning to lend more credibility to the theory that Bran might be (stuck in) The Night King. In his past visions he's beginning to dress more like how The Night King is garbed...and if we're honest they even look a little alike in the face, especially this season.http://nerdist.com/bran-night-king-game-of-thrones-theory/

8/28/2017 10:27:13 AM
8/28/2017 10:32:15 AM
I guess the question becomes how would they have taken down the wall if they didnt have the dragon? If it was pure coincidence that the NK got a dragon then the story comes to a standstill no? In my mind it makes sense that the NK knew he needed a dragon to take down the wall so he baited them into bringing one.
8/28/2017 11:43:46 AM
one theory was that now that winter has arrived the water to the east of the wall froze and they would simply walk around, though I never really liked that theory muchThey could have also had a full attack on the wall...the Wildlings almost breached and this army is much larger. Jon even said they wouldn't have been able to survive another attack
8/28/2017 11:48:58 AM
I can't recall, but the shows ever talk about how the Wall was not only a physical barrier, but a magical one that prevented anything undead from passing through it? In the books at least, an assault on the gates like what Mance's army tried would have never worked for the WW because they wouldn't have been able to pass through even if they managed to kill all the defenders.I thought this was a strong finale. Not as good as least season but everything except Theon's business was excellent.[Edited on August 28, 2017 at 12:07 PM. Reason : .]
8/28/2017 12:05:15 PM
I don't think Jon finding out about her being his aunt is really going to be that big of a deal. Pretty sure they're headed down the marriage path regardless, and I got the idea that when they were fucking and stopped and were staring at each other, he was basically saying/asking "I'm about to put a baby in you, that cool?". There was also the conversation earlier where he was basically like "don't believe the witch, you can totally get pregnant". They'll rule together.
8/28/2017 12:10:25 PM
Provided Jon and/or Dany will want to continue with their relationship once they know. Also providing Dany doesn't flip her shit when she finds out about Jon being the true heir.
8/28/2017 12:32:06 PM
Wonder if Dany is going to be interesting in bending her knee?
8/28/2017 12:37:14 PM
^^agreed.
8/28/2017 12:37:23 PM
If Jon and Dany have a kid, he's gonna be sucking that teet until he's in his teens... just like the nephew of K. Stark.
8/28/2017 1:21:32 PM
Consequence of wight hunt -1) lost dragon 2) lost priest with resurrection powers 3) lost protection of the wall 4) wasted time getting played by CerseiBenefit of wight hunt -1) don't care - had boatsex
8/28/2017 2:48:28 PM
I always thought that most of the magic that was woven into The Wall was undone when Bran went through with the mark of the Night King on him. But I get your point.
8/28/2017 2:50:59 PM
^^They gained a one handed knight too!
