Incompetent customers that are assholes. I can deal with incompetency as long as they are nice and willing to work with me on issues. But I have no use for a stupid motherfucker that is an asshole.

Should add lazy too. Stupid lazy motherfucking asshole.

^^I'd probably have to come down with a case of the fuck yous.

When my company moved offices, we were told have everything packed up and left in our offices; be out of the office by 2 PM on Friday, and on Monday morning, all of you stuff would be in your new office.

A+++++++++++++++++++ move. Would move again

I had an internship with the state for a summer and had it extended so I could help facilitate their photo studio move. All we had to do was label our boxes, they had state prisoners come in and do the packing and move. Yay legalized slave labor.

coworkers who bitch up a storm 80% of the time about their personal life and anything that's not 100% easy at work

then the other 20% is filled with "I'm easy" and "whatever you say" when asked to perform a task.

Workplace annoyance: When the ground attack alarm goes off, throwing your kit on, then realize you missed the "this is a test" announcement prior to the alarm. It's annoying to a higher level when everyone hears the test announcement and doesn't stop me. Today, I was that guy.

"Put the damn iPhone away and grab your shit... The fuck are you laughing at.... (Awkward pause)... It was a test wasn't it? .... This shit better not go on Facebook"

I've been sitting on a $30 chair for the last 4 months instead of a $1000 for literally no reason. No one told me they were nicer.

I had to trade chairs with the SO because the Herman miller was making my legs go numb. Now I have a $10 chair from the habitat restore, but I can feel my legs.

went to a conference/workshop at the EPA today... well there is a packet of materials waiting for us at our table and in that packet is an information sheet. That information sheet includes ALL of the personal information we had to include to register for the workshop, including our name, email address, home address, cell phone number, school, subject we teach, etc... this information was given to EVERYONE enrolled in the conference.

this is freaking bullshit, our whole lab is working on 11 reports our supposed director was supposed to do.... ELEVEN

of course she acts like it's no big deal that we are writing shit for her so she can sign her name on it and say she finished them. Also they were due a week ago, so now we are under pressure to finish them so we can overnight them tomorrow.

The new person fell behind on their piece of a project we're both working on and apparently has been behind for more than a week, but didn't tell me until today. They told other people besides me they were behind, and said that's why they didn't tell me until now 2 days before it's due.

They were hoping that by telling other people, I'd hear about it somehow, and do their section of the work, and have it ready for them today. I could have so easily and more effectively dealt with this earlier. Direct and proactive communication would have worked so much better in this situation. Now we're both scrambling to catch up.

did not realize until looking that up that I, in fact, am sitting on one right now. I'm actually not a big fan of this chair and it's amazing that the government is paying $500+ for chairs.

UGH the fucking woman just sent everyone's personal information out over email to EVERY person who attended the meeting. She even sent out all of the personal information of the people who registered but ended up cancelling. (and i'm assuming our personal information went to them as well)

I don't like to ruffle feathers (IRL anyway), but I might file a complaint about the whole thing... the only thing stopping me is that the workshop was pretty good overall.

Our automated build team did a security audit of their build servers a couple weeks ago and noted that many build process were writing to locations in the Program Files directory. Rightly so, they figured that was a bad thing, so they made configuration changes to the build servers that would cause any build to fail that tried to write to sensitive directories. That's a good idea, and I applaud them for it.

Did they do any analysis of any of the builds across the organization that were doing this? Of course not.
Did they analyze the directories where files were being written to try and learn what application teams might be affected? Of course not.
Did they make any attempt whatsoever to provide a migration path for affected application teams? Not even a little bit.
Did they communicate this change to users of the build servers in any way? Of course not.
How did they ultimately decide to handle the broken builds that would follow? Wait for builds to fail and then shut off that team's build access until it was fixed.

What was the ultimate problem? Their build scripts didn't set a fucking output path for the build artifacts and just took the default paths that application teams use for debugging, which happens to often be in the Program Files directory.

Probably going to have to quit because my boss refuses to let me use the proper PPE required by the safety office. Since I'm a contractor and she's a fed, I'm the one looking for a new job because she wants to try to hurt me.
