They seem to think the suspensions will "galvanize" the team to overcome this latest adversity and show on the field what winners they truly are. Seriously.

Wonder how real the possibility is of:HC MackDC ChizikOC Kingsbury
11/26/2018 10:23:54 AM
It's a shame Fedora couldn't have coached them forever.
11/26/2018 10:25:09 AM
I would be scared of Kingsbury but DD put up 28 and 34 on chizik
11/26/2018 10:27:28 AM
^^^possible i guess. but chizik has already been their DC and he wasn't exactly the savior their defense needed. granted, a lot of that can change with a different HC. and kingsbury...maybe, i feel like he could get a better job elsewhere as OC.[Edited on November 26, 2018 at 10:28 AM. Reason : arrows]
11/26/2018 10:28:36 AM
Kingbury should lobby for nfl ocAlso mack gets to open vs south carolina with 4 defenders suspended for one half
11/26/2018 10:32:18 AM
I could see Kevin Sumlin try to hire Kliff to be OC at Arizona if Mazzone leaves.
11/26/2018 10:34:33 AM
geographically, kingsbury has only ever coached in Texas. no real reason he couldn't make the move to the ACC/UNC. but he just seems like a southwest/west guy to me. idk.
11/26/2018 10:46:10 AM
I think this will be a win for NCSU
11/26/2018 12:55:08 PM
^Well, someone on IC agrees with you.
11/26/2018 1:38:41 PM
I think with the success of mahomes this year, Kingsbury will get multiple options as an OC in the NFL.If he actually does go to UNC, I would legitimately be worried. He's a hell of a play caller.
11/26/2018 1:41:12 PM
not IC, but their SBNation site has this in their post game write up
11/26/2018 5:25:15 PM
guess the NCAA/ACC did as well since they suspended four of them and three of us. pretty sure I saw one of our guys ground and pounding one of theirs at one point, though.
11/26/2018 5:34:49 PM
Oh yeah, our guys definitely got in their licks as well and warned that suspension. Just thought it was funny how salty and skeptical the writer was being “according to Twitter I guess Carolina players might have started it I guess if you trust the tweets anyways”
11/26/2018 5:45:01 PM
Now they want to make and sell "Mack is Back" tees.

11/27/2018 5:31:05 PM
yes please recruit all the marvin austins
11/27/2018 6:02:57 PM
Recruiting almost always picks up when a new coach comes in. Because the old coach was most likely fired for sucking, so they probably weren't recruiting great...and the new coach can sell their vision and sell playing time and sell themselves as the shiny new object. That's not unusual at all. But...their recruiting hasn't been *that* bad...this year's class is not looking good (currently 66 on 247). here's Fedora's classes prior to this current 2019 cycle2018: 202017: 292016: 322015: 282014: 302013: 282012: 41 (put an asterisk here because he was hired in 2012, so 2013 is really his first full class)That's not elite level talent, but recruiting in the top 30 is pretty solid for a program like UNC (or State) that isn't a perennial winner. It's hard to justify doing much better than that on the recruiting trail without results and history to back it up. I know a lotta people say that Fedora didn't have great relationships with the HS coaches in NC, so I'm sure Brown will be an improvement there. And depending on who the staff is, Brown is capable of recruiting better than Fedora. But to say Fedora wasn't bringing in solid classes is not true.Also...they were recruiting great when Butch was there. And all they had to show for it was some 8-4 seasons. Mack Brown recruited really well at UNC. He apparently had great relationships with the NC HS coaches. He also had the benefit of State being meh (and undergoing a coaching change between Sheridan and MOC), Duke being mostly ass (coaching changes as well), Wake being mostly ass (underwent a coaching change as well), App State being 1AA, Clemson was good at the beginning of his tenure but just meh by the mid-late part of his tenure, VT playing in the Big East and not as big a threat at the time, South Carolina was not good at the time. All those schools (and more) recruit NC heavily. Now, usually UNC and Wake or UNC and App aren't going head to head for recruits, so I'll grant that being less of a factor. But the fact is, all the schools that recruit the state of NC heavily, except for Tennessee, are more stable and flat out better than they were in the 90s during Brown's peaks at UNC, and in the case of Clemson - they might as well be fucking Alabama at this point. Recruiting for Brown won't be as easy as it was in the 90s. On top of that, Mack Brown has been roasted repeatedly for missing on guys like Johnny Manziel, RG3, and Pat Mahomes...he didn't even offer Manziel, although he thought he'd make a good safety, he did offer RG3 as an ATH (likely a DB or WR), and apparently didn't offer Mahomes either but liked him as a DB. https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2017/1/3/14161714/mack-brown-recruited-pat-mahomes-as-a-safety
11/27/2018 6:46:46 PM
According to IC, UNC's loss to Michigan wasn't a loss to a better team. It was because Roy was trying to make a point. He doesn't care so much about wins as he does teaching his players valuable lessons. So this was a moral victory for them.

Doesn't seem like it's ever been said there before.. But to type it wrong twice is weird
12/20/2018 8:51:00 PM
^^ Some of those cucks over there call us envy state for some reason and think that's what that idiot was trying to accomplish. Anyhow, seem like they're salty because we finally got a good coach. Before they were saying we haven't played anyone, now they're saying we don't have no road wins. They're right, we don't have a credible road win like against the mighty wofford. I wonder what those dimwits will be doing on new years eve, maybe they can tune in and watch our bowl game because that's right, their football team mustered 2 wins.
12/21/2018 1:41:17 PM
of all the terrible nicknames they've come up with, envy state is actually one of the better ones. Moo U? that's lazy....every ag school across the nation gets called that. NCSUx is just lame. phonetically it makes no sense because it's...NC Sux. so that's a hilariously stupid self own at worst and at best it's just kinda dumb. Wuffies isn't terrible, but it's also not terribly insulting. Envy State is actually pretty decent...it makes sense both when typing it and when saying it out loud (unlike NCSUx). it's actually an insult, which immediately makes it better than Wuffies. And it's original, which is a hell of a lot more than you can say for Moo U or Cow College.
12/21/2018 3:11:46 PM
yea, envy state is actually a pretty decent burn. I wouldn't call what I feel envy, but its probably a similar vein.
12/21/2018 3:40:39 PM
does Duke call them UNV?
12/21/2018 3:50:25 PM
hell, i'm just gonna assume unc stole it from duke. or as unc fans would say...d00k
12/21/2018 5:16:11 PM

12/21/2018 5:38:01 PM
Theres also NCeST
12/21/2018 9:27:45 PM
I'm pretty fucking impressed honestly.
12/21/2018 9:34:43 PM
^^ahh forgot about that one. I’ll admit it’s better than most of them. But it’s also really lazy to call the ag school fans inbred.
12/21/2018 10:03:22 PM
Waiting for everyone to wake up on Christmas morning, and decided to subject myself to some holiday bullshit. There's a discussion about State basketball actually being a threat right now, and someone said no need to worry because we'll get taken down by infractions. Here's one guy's take when a State fan said UNC got away with years of cheating.
