6/27/2010 3:43:22 PM
^^ I don't give a shit you were wrong... I wasn't the one calling you outbut to defend yourself by saying they did better than expected was amusing to me

6/27/2010 3:46:43 PM
Harkes an Argentina bandwagon fan? not surprising
6/27/2010 3:48:25 PM
ill take +2 on calling rooney. i thought that was pretty obvious. he has been shitty since gettin hurt at the end of march with manchester united. i dont think hes scored a goal for club or country since the first leg of bayern munich. someone correct me if im wrong but i think im right. also gerrard had an awful awful tourney and he shouldnt even be playing/starting for england off his form this year. clearly he only got the starts from his reputation. but man he was awful.
6/27/2010 3:48:50 PM
u rite, Rooney hasn't scored since March.
6/27/2010 3:50:36 PM
so what have we learned thus far?Mexico still can't beat Argentina.USA still can't beat Ghana.England continues to disappoint.Hosts countries aren't guaranteed a spot in the round of 16.many European countries struggle outside of Europe.African teams can't score.CONMEBOL representin'FIFA needs to address officiating (hopefully no replay, though in my humble opinion). Some people still hate soccer.Rabble, Rabble, Vuvuzelas. Rabble, Rabble, Jubilani.Anything I missed?[Edited on June 27, 2010 at 3:54 PM. Reason : ]

Maradona is a pretty good coach
6/27/2010 3:56:00 PM
Everybody still hates my boys Harkesy and Lalas
6/27/2010 3:56:10 PM
man i couldve coached this team this far easily with the players they have.
6/27/2010 3:56:27 PM
^4 Underage pussy will ruin your World Cup (Ribery)
6/27/2010 3:58:09 PM
mexico pwnt with the goal line clearance
6/27/2010 3:58:17 PM
^^^^i've grown to like Lalas. Although I think he's tamed down somewhat (or i've grown my tolerance for him). Or maybe I just like he and McManaman as his foil. I still hate Harkes, though.[Edited on June 27, 2010 at 3:58 PM. Reason : ]
6/27/2010 3:58:18 PM
^^^^incorrectArgentina looks to have the best team chemistry of any team in the tournament. His lineups and subs have been right on point as well. It's hard to wrangle that many egos together and get them to play together like this.[Edited on June 27, 2010 at 3:58 PM. Reason : ^][Edited on June 27, 2010 at 3:59 PM. Reason : ask Capello]
6/27/2010 3:58:27 PM
his subs are just as good as the first team. they have so much talent that they didnt even take some great players to this cupGOAL DE MANCHESTER UNITED![Edited on June 27, 2010 at 3:59 PM. Reason : F]
6/27/2010 3:59:37 PM
6/27/2010 3:59:54 PM
i would have agreed with that. i also thought messi > ronaldo when ronaldo was player of the year. I think there is a very heavy EPL bias on these boards, though, which explains some of the opinions
6/27/2010 4:01:04 PM
Chicharito > Messi
haha I can't wait for center halves in England to fuck up Chicharito's world
6/27/2010 4:01:52 PM
like Skrtl and Kygrios?mhm.
6/27/2010 4:05:51 PM
exactlyI meant to physically hurt him, not play good defense on him
6/27/2010 4:07:02 PM
he seems to play pretty well against some of the worlds best defenders. i think hell be alright at united
6/27/2010 4:07:07 PM
haha, i just rewatched the 2nd ARG goal. Terrible give away, but even worse was the guy who hit the camera and got pissed and punched it.
6/27/2010 4:08:20 PM
so heading the ball away is now grounds for rolling around hurt? this is gettin ridiculous. OMG I GOT HURT FOR DOING A TYPICAL SOCCER MOVE
6/27/2010 4:09:23 PM
Heinze deserves an 'bow every now and then for how much shit he talks
6/27/2010 4:09:59 PM
Mexico needs some Blanco
6/27/2010 4:10:31 PM
Argentina needs to stop being pussies
6/27/2010 4:14:00 PM
they're wasting time. nothin' unusual
6/27/2010 4:15:35 PM
smart shots here by mexico...
6/27/2010 4:16:00 PM
it does suck for Mexico to get Argentina in the 2nd round two cups in a rowbut fuck 'em
6/27/2010 4:16:20 PM
so i missed like 30 mins of the first half, but has messi even done anything today?
6/27/2010 4:18:46 PM
he got an assist to tevez on the bad no-calland he almost just scored the most brilliant goal of the tournament just now[Edited on June 27, 2010 at 4:20 PM. Reason : ]
6/27/2010 4:19:54 PM
lol he tried something there
6/27/2010 4:20:27 PM
ahahah "THINGS ARE GETTING MESSI"
6/27/2010 4:21:42 PM
the atmosphere tonight inside of soccer city was absolutely insane - i'm extremely glad they didn't ban the vuvus
6/27/2010 6:01:12 PM
Mexico was doing reasonably well running multiple defenders at Messi anytime he touched the ball. Of course that means they were often leaving the other strikers free. Also, Mexico had a decent start (several good chances) and noticeably lost their composure after the goal that shouldn't have counted. Argentina still would have likely taken over the game, but Mexico completely fell apart at that point.[Edited on June 27, 2010 at 7:30 PM. Reason : .]
6/27/2010 7:28:42 PM
^ That's what I said to JT.The refs don't allow that first goal, that second one doesn't happen. Refereeing mistakes change the entire demeanor of the game, and they only get more and more comical.
