^ CDC says there’s no need to space out the shots, if that’s what you’re asking. I would have to assume it might make side effects more severe. But other than that, I don’t think there’s a medical reason to space them out. Doesn’t lessen the efficacy.[Edited on November 29, 2021 at 6:17 AM. Reason : Letters]

They are actually talking about combining the Covid booster and flu shot into one, so that way people only have to get one shot if it ends up being endemic like influenza and needs to be done once a year.
11/29/2021 9:52:43 AM
Idk seems ill informed

Not exactly PC these days, but I'd classify it more as insane

I've now known multiple people to do it with no side effects (except sore arms)[Edited on November 29, 2021 at 1:40 PM. Reason : (and if one or both is going to have side effects, why not just do it once and get it over with?)]
11/29/2021 1:39:34 PM
Bullet your crazy, this is the only know example of multiple things with side effects being used at once.
11/29/2021 1:56:21 PM
Holy fuck, do people really not remember getting multiple vaccines at the same time as a kid? Traveled out of the country where sometimes it's like 3+ at once?I had the booster/flu shot back in October and had ZERO issues except a sore arm for like 3-4 days. I'm fully prepared for the omicron booster that'll be coming out in Feb/March, too.

I would do it if flu shots were free, but they're not so i won't
11/29/2021 4:49:01 PM
Free at Walgreens I think? I thought they were usually free? They didn't take my insurance card, I didn't think I was on file with them but maybe I was.
11/29/2021 5:07:46 PM
Yeah they most definitely are not free without insurance]
11/29/2021 5:12:20 PM

11/29/2021 8:18:02 PM
Fuck you sheep, I’m not living in fear, just got my booster (moderna, initial shots were Pfizer), and flu shot at the same time! Will report back later if dead.
12/2/2021 12:32:46 PM
You seem insane and Ill informed badass!!

I am going to a rave in a couple of weeks... should I get a booster?
12/3/2021 12:05:04 PM
Raves are bad news
12/3/2021 12:15:13 PM
Going to a rave is insane and ill-informed
12/3/2021 12:43:45 PM
After getting my booster and flu shot yesterday, was a little sore and pretty tired last night. Took a couple ibuprofen and went to bed. Slept fine, woke up today and have felt great. A+ would double jab again.
12/3/2021 1:10:34 PM
You badass piece of shit
12/3/2021 1:50:06 PM
^^yeah well fuck you too buddy
12/3/2021 2:04:10 PM
Is scheduling necessary? Or can you just roll up to walgreens/cvs and get it?[Edited on December 3, 2021 at 3:24 PM. Reason : Getting flu and booster at same time]
12/3/2021 3:24:12 PM
It depends, some take walk-ins some don't.
12/3/2021 3:31:14 PM
Regarding free they are at chains. Insured or not. If you have insurance they will bill it. If you don’t they will charge the gov’t for it. They make $40 a pop at the the pharmacies I know people at but they don’t pass it on to customer. Definitely call or go online to line it up. They get slammed with every news release and are understaffed because no one wants to work. You can roll the dice and walk in but you may be waiting a bit.
12/3/2021 3:56:34 PM
12/3/2021 3:59:47 PM
They could take me, getting moderna after 2 phyzers
12/3/2021 4:07:29 PM
I've got my booster scheduled for next week. I wanted to wait until I had a couple days of not-much-going-on in case I get some flu-like symptoms.
12/3/2021 4:25:02 PM
Kinda sucks they did one in each arm, I’d have rather had both in same arm

In all fairness, a lot of people that used to be in payrolls were useless anyways. At least those working now are getting paid for doing other peoples work. Only fair that wages go up for those that work and were previously doing other peoples jobs anyways. Chickens come home to roost for dumb ass business owners that had ppl at 10/hr to jerk off anyways
12/3/2021 7:03:31 PM
Other than sore arms, not really feeling crappy like i was after 2nd shot, i would also recommend flu and booster at same time
12/5/2021 12:14:33 AM
12/5/2021 12:37:01 AM
You are right flu shots aren’t free covid are. I don’t have a source. I just know my friends who are pharmacists at multiple chains have said they are looking to leave because understaffed and their techs are quitting and despite signs on the door and internet tries they can’t find replacements. Their staffers are constantly begging them to fill in for overtime at other stores. So nationwide idk. I just know what I hear from friends in the industry. This is coming from three pharmacists. And Justin Ive resisted responding to you because you are a troll but for the record I don’t have a significant other right now so that should clear that up[Edited on December 5, 2021 at 10:11 AM. You're prob right, I've heard more stories lately about people trying to get onto unemployment
12/5/2021 11:55:02 AM
Yeah, pharmacists don't want to work nowadays. It's understandable now that they are being expected to get vaccinated to protect themselves as well as the frail and immunocompromised with whom they interact on a daily basis. Who can blame them after a punishing career of taking pills from a big bottle, counting them out, and putting them into a little bottle? Pretty crushing stress, I imagine.]
12/5/2021 3:31:57 PM
Just got a Moderna booster yesterday to complement the J&J one I got last spring. So far horrible flu symptoms but no sign of COVID
12/6/2021 12:00:00 PM
I read that with some small test group, the J&J vaccine was more effective for longer as a booster, than the actual Pfizer booster.
12/6/2021 2:30:41 PM
If they recommend a 4th shot later, i hope to get j&j just to have all 3
