Sounds like UJW is stealing my injury excuses!

GSW has multiple titles that came directly from injuries to other teams. Not sure why GSW fans are getting upset that it's going against them for the first time in this run. If Toronto wins, it'll be no different than GSW beating Cleveland without Kyrie and Love. It'll be a title and no one will really care who did or didn't play in 6 months. Hoping Toronto close out at home tonight, that arena is going to be deafening and that city is going to be crazy for the game.

So the fact that the Ws are not playing healthy is not up for debate. If the Raptors win (looking pretty damn likely!), good for them. The team and fans won’t give a shit how they did it, but because people will literally argue about anything, some people will definitely call them “lucky” for not playing a full strength team. I’m not one of those people though, so sorry we won’t have anything to argue about
6/10/2019 3:43:33 PM
Perhaps, but you did imply that the Warriors would be winning if they were at full strength
6/10/2019 4:29:15 PM
Kawhi has looked a little gimpy for the past few weeks, fwiw.
6/10/2019 4:49:19 PM
KAWHI means CUTE in Japanese. His parents gave him a good first name. It helps a lot.
6/10/2019 4:53:27 PM
These line moves are funny, but not very surprising. How does TO gameplan for something like this?
6/10/2019 5:59:51 PM
do what now
6/10/2019 7:19:42 PM
I just can't really remember a series where a player so important made a last minute, game 5 starting appearance. I mean I'm sure TO knew it was a possibility all along, but seeing how Vegas is reacting is funny to me.
6/10/2019 8:16:20 PM
Vegas knows people are going to be more likely to pick our Dubs if KD is playingalso the lack of a "." in T.O was throwing me off
6/10/2019 8:26:39 PM
what does Terrell Owens have to do with muh dubs?
6/10/2019 8:34:59 PM
Has anyone else in history ever referred to the Toronto Raptors as TO?
6/10/2019 9:25:12 PM
I've heard T-dot O-dot for the city, as in Toronto Ontario. But the dots are important.
6/10/2019 9:29:03 PM
Yea for the city I suppose but I would bet 99% of time, if not more the raptors are TOR. I think that's their official abbreviation too.
6/10/2019 9:31:16 PM
Why are we talking about Togo futbol?
6/10/2019 9:46:12 PM
Strained Achilles for sure for Durant, possibly even partially or fully tore it.
6/10/2019 9:53:24 PM
Pretty sure it was his Achilles the first time and they just claimed it as a calf strain. Probably a partial tear or something originally that would end up requiring surgery anyways.
6/10/2019 10:01:37 PM
Toronto fans deserve to lose a 3-1 leadthey more than likely won’t, tho
6/10/2019 10:03:53 PM
Yeah those great Golden State fans deserve to win.Oh wait, their owners assault players and tell them to go fuck themselves.
6/10/2019 10:07:30 PM
there’s no sugarcoating fans cheering an injury
6/10/2019 10:10:14 PM
Who's sugarcoating it?[Edited on June 10, 2019 at 10:12 PM. Reason : Fans don't get rings. Owners do.]
6/10/2019 10:11:42 PM
i didn't hear them cheering until got helped up and walked on his ownie cheering that he wasn't so severely injured that he couldn't walk[Edited on June 10, 2019 at 10:12 PM. Reason : .]
6/10/2019 10:11:48 PM
Dubs went on a run and then got lots of fouls called against them. Refs will not allow a blowout.^ it got extremely loud as soon as KD went down. Although, fans could have been cheering for a TOR steal tho[Edited on June 10, 2019 at 10:15 PM. Reason : ^]
6/10/2019 10:11:59 PM
to me, it got loud right after the steal, when most fans were paying attention to the live ball action, and got really loud once durant got up and started limping offi'm sure there were a few "i killed your grandfather" types in a 20k+ person crowd, but i think Van Gundy blew it out of proportion
6/10/2019 10:18:59 PM
the Raptors players weren’t telling the fans to stop cheering over a turnover
6/10/2019 10:22:14 PM
Can’t believe I’ve agreed with TGL so much on this page.
6/10/2019 10:27:26 PM
how many fans were they talking to[Edited on June 10, 2019 at 10:29 PM. Reason : that 12-year old in the upper deck deserves for his team to lose 3 straight!!]
6/10/2019 10:27:41 PM
Full disclosure: I was listening to the game on the radio coming home from work and to me it sounded like a bunch of T.O ejaculating with joy that KD got hurt. But I’m a delusional Dubs homer and soon to be Raptors fan 4 lyfe.
6/10/2019 10:29:43 PM
looks like at least one asshole waving goodbye to him, but from a pure volume standpoint, the crowd isn't noticeably louder during the time KD is on the floor
6/10/2019 10:31:01 PM
you love to argue so much that you’re pretending to be both blind and deaf
6/10/2019 10:36:02 PM
should the crowd have fallen silent when durant went down? keep acting like 20,000 fans were chanting "fuck durant" thoughtry being specific in what you disagree with. vagueness isn't a good trait when you're trying to argue a point.[Edited on June 10, 2019 at 10:38 PM. Reason : .]
6/10/2019 10:37:39 PM
White dress/blue dress. People see what they see, or what they want to seeKinda fucked up and nasty and gross people can be about a damn basketball game: Ws owner shoving a player and Raptors fans cheering an injury[Edited on June 10, 2019 at 10:38 PM. Reason : I’m drinkin’]
6/10/2019 10:38:24 PM
It's pretty clear.1. Initial reaction: (majority of crowd) yayyy, their star player got hurt, byeee2. Players from both teams shake their heads at fans being dicks3. KD gets help and fans have a change of heart: yayy, he is able to hobble at least and isn't completely broken
6/10/2019 10:42:14 PM
^^^ Saints fans did the same shit when Cam went down a few years ago there was nothing to cheer for after the whistle blew yet they kept cheering[Edited on June 10, 2019 at 10:44 PM. Reason : .]
6/10/2019 10:43:44 PM
6/10/2019 10:47:51 PM
Yeah fans were cheering the fast break.
6/10/2019 10:52:04 PM
They were cheering good sportsmanship and poutine
6/10/2019 10:59:04 PM
and they always eventually say they're sohrry
6/10/2019 11:01:09 PM
how does the nba not have a camera directly above the basket looking straight down?
6/10/2019 11:31:07 PM
6/10/2019 11:38:43 PM
so all muh dubs have to do to win the series is continue shooting ~50% from 3 while holding to to 25%. and we'll win by 1 every game!
6/10/2019 11:40:50 PM
that was incredible
6/10/2019 11:41:23 PM
NBA season ends after the NHL season
6/10/2019 11:44:31 PM
TGL and I are officially friends
6/10/2019 11:45:59 PM
That was a mistake. Nurse should have never called that to when Leonard got hot
6/10/2019 11:50:32 PM
^it did seem unneccesary
6/10/2019 11:58:36 PM
They called a Toronto?
6/11/2019 12:03:09 AM
T.0
6/11/2019 12:07:21 AM
Looks like an achilles injury for KD. Judging from the closeups, I would bet on it being a full rupture. Pretty awful to see that happen to a superstar in their prime. His minutes may have won the Warriors the game, possibly even the series depending on how things play out, but at a heavy cost.
