The Ws didn't even play that well and the Rockets got exposed big time. Maybe Harden can tbag Draymond in game 4 so he gets suspended to make it a more competitive series. Frankly, any conversation about officiating (it wasn't great, all around given that Scott Foster was reffing) sounds pretty dumb to me, but if people would rather bitch about officiating than discuss the actual gameplan for either team, this is the perfect place to do it.

A couple Rockets role players (mbah a moute, ariza) had really poor games and the transition D was pretty rough, otherwise I feel like the game went the way people expected.

And btw, Hodge has been tweeting that CP3 was his favorite player in college and people need to let the nut shot go. I consider this permit root for him guilt free

I never said the Rockets were bad, I just said that they got exposed because they did.Harden iso/hero ball isn't going to cut it against four all-stars/future HOFers. The first half was close, but once the Warriors ran the Hamptons lineup in the third it was pretty obvious what was going to happen. I mean if you watched the same game I was watching, they had absolutely no answer for KD in the mid-post, and he will continue to score at will unless the Rockets completely change their game-plan. The series isn't anywhere close to being over, but for the Ws to win game one on the road the way they did seems to indicate two things: The Rockets either weren't prepared for a team as talented and experienced as the Warriors, OR the only way they can beat them is if they don't play Warriors basketball. Based on what I saw, I thought the Warriors only delivered a B- performance. When they actually get going like they did in the 3rd quarter, or when they went up by 26 points or whatever it was against NOLA in game 5, it's really not even fair.

I'm hoping for a good series, with no injuries, and that both teams play the best they can. But if game 2 is another rendition of game 1, I honestly don't know what else to say. FWIW, I think Harden is an unbelievable player, and while I hate his jerking neck technique that sends him to the line constantly, he's fun to watch. But fuck CP3- I hope he never wins another playoff game as far as I'm concerned.

^^that's true but he also scored the same on fewer shots. So he was still essentially unguardable. My argument after game 1 was the Rockets could live with him being unguardable, which you seemed to scoff at.

Maybe you just need better terms. When a team is "exposed" it usually means we see who they really are now (a team not good enough to compete with 4 all Stars/hof'ers). If all they need to do is make some coaching adjustments to win by 30, I don't think they're exposed at all.
