I’m not defending Wenger. He’s well past it at this point but you’re sitting here like you didn’t finish sixth last year even! Arsenal should do what United did last year and say fuck it in the league and go balls out for Europa and League Cup.And regarding Ozil, no one in any top five league in Europe has created as many chances since he joined. He’s still a game changer and I’m pretty pumped to see him distribute to guys like Laca, Aubamayeng and Mkhi versus Walcott, Ox and Welbeck..[Edited on January 31, 2018 at 10:21 AM. Reason : Also, why is no one coming in for Sessegnon? Guy is a stud way behind Championship level at 17][Edited on January 31, 2018 at 10:24 AM. Reason : X]

Everybody is coming in for Sess. Spurs feel good about their chances but Fulham won't do business this window even if it means loaning him back for the rest of the season. We offered 50M earlier this month. Poch has his ear from what the reliable people around the club report.

Well Giroud is better than the rumors of Peter Crouch and Ashley Barnes. Guessing Luiz' latest injury is what kept him at the Bridge, yay more locker room discontent.
1/31/2018 1:52:48 PM
Girlie is way too good looking to wear that Chelsea shirt. Should’ve pulled the plug on it last second after Auba went through
1/31/2018 2:17:44 PM
^ lol that would have been hilarious. I am glad we got Sanchez finalized and didn't get caught up in that ridiculous merry go round. I also think Giroud is a good signing for Chelsea, wish Arsenal hadn't sold him.
1/31/2018 2:19:42 PM
Definitely better in help than Batshuayi who was a liability when not in possession.
1/31/2018 2:26:12 PM
Jose going with a two man midfield and a front 4 of Sanchez, Lingard, Martial and Lukaku. Away from home and going for three points. Love it. Looking forward to seeing how Sanchez lines up with quality players around him instead of that shit show at Yeovil on that pitch.

^lol just saw that. At work right now so can't really watch the game but had a notification popup on my phone right at 2 and figured it was just my alert that the game was starting. Checked something 20 mins later and saw it was a goal. gg Eriksen.
1/31/2018 3:27:34 PM
Jones with a class finish
1/31/2018 3:29:42 PM
Lucky goals for the spurs. On balance of play 1-0 to them is fair. Credit to Poch though. Our midfield can’t handle the press and he has nullified it. Mou needs to switch it up and put in an extra man in the middle. Young should not have started. Would have preferred Shaw.
1/31/2018 3:54:33 PM
You were just praising the team selection before kickoff
1/31/2018 4:41:08 PM
The attack. Yes. I still believe we had a great attacking selection but Poch did well to nullify it. My complaint was with Young so.... we also should have adjusted the midfield at halftime. I did like the Pogba substitution though. He played terribly and it was good to send a message. [Edited on January 31, 2018 at 4:53 PM. Reason : A]
1/31/2018 4:52:39 PM
Hindsight is 20/20 but I really have to hand it to Poch today. What a performance. I haven't see us this nullified before under Mou and in retrospect I think this was our worst performance of the year and credit to Poch for that. I think Poch read Mourinho like a book and knew exactly what he would try to do. The pressing from spurs basically meant Pogba and Matic were useless. united didn't have a midfield today and in retrospect I think Mourinho would have been much better off starting Matic and Carrick in the middle with Pogba playing off them. Bench Lingard. I think that one change alone would have led to a different result. United were bullied Everytime Matic and Pogba touched the ball. I still believe that front four we have is brilliant. Sanchez was our best player and honestly what impressed me most about him today was the vision. Sanchez had plenty of dinks and forward passes that could have unlocked the spurs defence. I have been crying out for a united player to consistently send balls over the too into the box. I blame Mourinho more than the players today. He got outclassed tactically. That said I think players like Smalling, Pogba and Young were bullied off the pitch today and I am glad Mourinho subbed Pogba. Well done spurs. Good win.
1/31/2018 5:43:50 PM
oh we back.
1/31/2018 8:26:37 PM
Dele's foul on Sanchez near the end of the match
1/31/2018 8:30:08 PM
Dele did Jack shit today besides diving like a whale and acting smug. What a treat he is much like David Luiz. Thought he was destined for Madrid but is quickly realising spurs is about the right level.
1/31/2018 9:30:55 PM
I don't know what you were watching but he had a great game and really looked on it. He was involved in the build-up of a majority of our shots.
2/1/2018 7:06:56 AM
Likely just silly nonsense but I’ve read Low post-WC being the reason Ozil re-upped. Would kill for that..
2/1/2018 9:44:33 AM
^^^i interpreted aimorris's comment to be pro Liverpool not a comment on your post
2/1/2018 1:47:24 PM
Fair enough, posted it right after the spurs match so. If we had to lose then I am still not too worried about Spurs away. We still have Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, and City left but three of them are coming to Old Trafford and then we have to go to the Etihad. Get results against the other three at home (hopefully two wins and a draw if not all wins) and we should hopefully finish second comfortably. That week over christmas is still the one that I am pissed about. 6 points dropped there with three needless back to back draws. Would have been 9 points ahead of 3rd and 9 behind 1st. Would have been interesting going into the tail end at that differential. Only have ourselves to blame.[Edited on February 1, 2018 at 2:49 PM. Reason : a]
2/1/2018 2:44:07 PM
Well Liverpool won and then Chelsea and united lost which helped us, so makes sense to make that post after yesterday's games. Or he may not have had a chance to post Tuesday. But most importantly "oh we back" doesn't even make sense as an insult to your post
2/1/2018 3:25:02 PM
wazza it wouldn't have been interesting as City are miles better than United. You would never turn over nine points against them even if that happened. Stop being delusional. That would mean that they would have to drop points in 4 more matches the rest of the way in and have you win out from February. Neither of those things would ever happen.
2/2/2018 6:55:08 AM
So what does that say about the spurs in 5th? If city is miles ahead us then no other team in the league is close. United dropped 7 points in 2011 to let city win with 6 games to go. Maybe you haven’t been following football for a while, which wouldn’t be surprising but crazier things have happened. Also 9 points with a quarter of the season left is nothing.Lol delusion. Clearly just said spurs were the better team and we have ourselves to blame for not being closer to city. It’s incredible how people’s opinion change after one loss. The lack of respect is pretty glaring but not surprising considering how much bitterness there is towards united and Jose. Must be frustrating as fuck being so retarded that everyone behind united believes they are better and yet sit behind us and have been all year. Incredible.
2/2/2018 8:58:26 AM
I'm not on here claiming that we could overtake City from 9 down and I said months ago that this City team will go down as one of the all-timers, so yeah I already cleared that up way back.
2/2/2018 11:04:34 AM
But... nobody is doing that. You have acted and continue to act all season long that United and City are the two class acts in England this season as some sort of weird equivalency game. City is miles ahead of EVERYONE. That’s the only point being made from what I can tell. United is much closer to sixth than first. But I guess congrats for being the tallest midget (for now).[Edited on February 2, 2018 at 11:05 AM. Reason : Too slow. Meant for wazza.]

2/2/2018 12:34:03 PM
I'm not reading all that
2/2/2018 12:37:31 PM
^ I expected that response from you since these quotes just prove you have absolutely no point at all.
2/2/2018 12:41:39 PM
Also since everyone loves to shit on Jose going to go ahead and post these:Jose:"City is doing so well, but it doesn't mean we're doing bad. It doesn't mean Tottenham is doing bad, it doesn't mean Liverpool is doing bad, it doesn't mean A... Chelsea is doing bad." "We need points to be the first of the last - we have to try to finish second"Such a classless cunt Mourinho is.
2/2/2018 12:50:33 PM
^^^^when you're not at all madAnd lol giving Pool shit for Swansea then hand waving Huddersfield in the next sentence
2/2/2018 1:39:43 PM
So disproving your ridiculous bias and statements is now me angry. What about the 8 draws for Liverpool? Again pointing to consistency issues. 3 losses but still behind us by 3 points. Hand waving a Huddersfield result that happened in the beginning of the season vs something that happened last week after beating City? You failed to grasp the main point of my argument relating to consistency once more. Nice to also see you brush off be fact that I have been more complimentary to my rivals than anyone in here ever has the balls to admit when United play well. Never once have I said United has been a class above or even compared ourselves to City.
2/2/2018 2:51:09 PM
Yea the primary reason I brushed off your "complimentary" nature is that I don't give a shit
2/2/2018 3:26:10 PM
Good to know.
2/2/2018 4:35:43 PM
wow, never thought "oh we back" would start so much shit. Never change wazza. You've consistently acted like there was a legit chance for United to catch City all the way through December man, even though every single person in this thread had moved on from hopes for a title for their team when it was obvious City was too damn good. Just a quick one I found...
2/3/2018 11:03:09 AM
Mkhi’s tracking back is fantastic. Didn’t know he had that in his game. Thought he was more of a technical guy..[Edited on February 3, 2018 at 1:07 PM. Reason : Lol auba was like 5 yards offside]
2/3/2018 1:04:09 PM
Kane is on 99 premier league goals. I think he's going to be looking to shoot tomorrow.
2/3/2018 3:15:57 PM
2/3/2018 6:41:59 PM
Liverpool fans. Always bitter. Categorically disproved every point and still making stupid comments. Still find it hilarious you can't respond to those posts. And all this shit talk about United my core point still stands. Win those three draws in December and we are sitting 7 points behind all results staying the same. Again a moot point but it's hilarious you guys keep talking shit and yet still sit behind united. [Edited on February 3, 2018 at 7:11 PM. Reason : A]
2/3/2018 7:08:39 PM
What do you think you "disproved"? Aren't most of these arguments opinion based? Also United shit talk? I thought most of the shit talk was about you, not United
2/3/2018 7:32:27 PM
^^^ he works his ass off for 90 minutes. Given how much he’s played for Chile too he’s a freak of nature. His only flaw is also what makes him great — selfishness. I guarantee he doesn’t find Ramsey twice in the same manner that Mkhitaryan did today but he also probably takes on Evertons porous defense and score two himself.^^ but what is the point of your core point? You didn’t win those games. Just like Arsenal outplayed United at the Emirates and still lost. The only thing that matters is the three points you got. Liverpool should have beat Swansea and three years ago they should beat Palace. The what if game is beyond stupid..^ this. United is probably the second best team in the PL this year. Is anyone saying they are not in that argument? What does it matter, though, when City is so far superior in every way to the entire league? Does anyone give a flying fuck or give credit to Arsenal for finishing second two years ago? God knows I don’t..[Edited on February 3, 2018 at 10:01 PM. Reason : X]
2/3/2018 9:55:58 PM
fuckin shame Salah's dope goal wasn't a winner. Spurs deserved a point with their 2nd half but not like that. Fuckin joke of a pen because Lamela is literally just diving into VvD who is actually trying to play the ball.
2/4/2018 1:29:35 PM
God damn what a match. We were just talking about the through ball on Kane, he's clearly in an offside position, but I think they awarded anyway because of the deflection on the way through off a Liverpool player. I can't say for sure one way or another if that's an intent-based decision where it has to be a clear backpass for the offensive player to pick up the ball in that spot or if it just gets redirected on the way through. Anybody know a concrete interpretation of that rule?[Edited on February 4, 2018 at 1:34 PM. Reason : COYS]
2/4/2018 1:31:38 PM
the law says a "deliberate play." he was offsideI think Kane dived anyway...[Edited on February 4, 2018 at 1:37 PM. Reason : .]
2/4/2018 1:36:24 PM
But Lovren? tried to play the ball. You can see it bounce up off his foot...Either way, hell of a match. It's about time Spurs get a touch of luck. I've seen it 2 years in a row of teams getting lucky with bounces or calls against us that cost the club massively. Sorry it had to come against Pool because I do like aimorris and the other pool backers on here.
2/4/2018 1:45:23 PM
Sure he touched it but it wasn't deliberately flicked up and backwards like that, lol. The second penalty had contact but it's so obvious Lamela is doing absolutely nothing to play the ball and he's rewarded for it. I hate that shit so much. My two main issues with the call are:1. Moss had a good angle and very obviously waved play on/no penalty. Why did he let the linesman with a worse view make that decision instead and overrule him? Madness.2. The entire game had so many non-fouls let go and Moss let so much contact happen the entire game but we get into the penalty area and twice, the slightest touch is a penalty? Why so inconsistent?Anyway, I look at it like this - both teams needed some luck from referees/other team to get one goal and they each had one brilliant individual effort to get the other. LFC better first half, Spurs better second half. Draw's fair. Good point on the road for Spurs even though I wouldn't say they were amazing or anything. Lovren/VvD shut down Kane all game. Could say the same on the other end. For two teams known for attacking and yeah there were 4 goals, I thought both teams defensively were very good.[Edited on February 4, 2018 at 2:25 PM. Reason : second penalty is a perfect example of why I don't want VAR. People will see what they want to see]
