lol @ DC in general. Man, they really messed up the whole Justice League situation. I really liked Cavill as Superman though, despite the questionable writing in the movies he was in. It was a lot like Pierce Brosnan as James Bond -- he played the character really well, but was a victim of the filmmakers.

I guess this is what happens when you don't have a plan from the beginning and try to rush things to keep up with Marvel. Hopefully this doesn't mean another origin movie for all of the DC heroes. I don't know how many times we've seen Batman's parents get shot.

M Knight made a movie (Knock At Cabin) of a book (Cabin at the End of the World) I really like, not sure if I should be excited or worried.

Title is a bad start not totally sure why they didn't stick with the book title

The Whale was good, but a bit too heavy-handed for me

don’t think I’ve ever been in a theater with so many people bawling

I wish I was sensitive enough to cry watching a fucking movie. I did a few times when I was like 6 or 7.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Anybody catch the new Avatar movie? I didn't really like the first one. Unobtainium? Really?

I saw the new Avatar last weekend and wasn’t expecting much but it was pretty good. Better than the first in my opinion

Watched Amsterdam on a flight this week and enjoyed it. Christian Bale is a really great actor

I also liked Glass Onion. And how had I never heard that Beatles song before?

I guess I'll have to watch Knives Out now.

yeah when Avatar ripped off the 2003 sci-fi classic The Core and stole Unobtainium, that's when my hate for it started.

Jurassic World Dominion really was garbage.

Probably one of the most laughably bad villains I’ve seen.

Kindergarten Cop 2 is really bad. And not really bad in a good way, it's just really bad. Dolph Lundgren has zero comedic chops.

The Menu dug too deep into their own theme but I thought it did a good job of being a horror comedy.

Nicholas Hoult was great especially during a time when men and women are seperate

Just recently watched the menu. I love Ralph Fiennes.

I always go and read reviews after watching a movie, and several of the reviews complained about there not being a warning about suicide. .

Every movie could use trigger warnings for something that someone out there might have a problem with.
