9/26/2015 6:40:53 PM
Top of the table!
9/26/2015 9:56:00 PM
very impressed with Martial but you shouldn't get too carried away. Could be another one of these...
9/28/2015 9:04:05 AM
A Henry-like turn and hit to help win the league?
9/28/2015 9:06:48 AM
lol. Martial has already shown 5x more ability than Macheda. Also I am not the one getting carried away here. The english media spent 2 weeks collectively hating on Martial before he even kicks the ball. Now the English media can't get enough of him. Wonder why.Martial has the talent though, its very apparent from the last 3 games. If you haven't watched him outside of that pool match I suggest you take a look this weekend vs Arsenal. Let the Henry comparisons go, the kid is exactly the kind of striker we needed and the best part is that he is only 19.He just knows where the goal is and is never afraid to take on the defender. Great composure but also very very good awareness. Macheda, aside from that stunner, never showed that kind of composure or awareness unfortunately. Martial is what I was hoping Wilson could turn into this season. While not a Manchester lad I am glad Martial is here to stay for a while.

lol I am just saying, there is a difference between him and Macheda and it is already apparent.Ings played pretty well with Sturridge up top. Heard some mixed reviews from pool fans saying they would prefer Ings and Sturridge up top instead of Benteke. What are your opinions? Must say that isn't a bad problem for Rodgers to have after crying out for a striker all year.
9/28/2015 12:29:52 PM
Bit unfair. Benteke/Sturridge have only played once together and Benteke looked a lot better than he had previously this season. I think that's hands down the best pairing and will get better the more they play together.Ings is a fine option off the bench or off-day but no way I'd pick him over the other two if all were healthy.
9/28/2015 2:00:47 PM
that's what my thinking is too. Benteke can create space for Sturridge with his ability, something I don't think Ings can offer. Sturridge had a great match. Not gonna lie after seeing city are very much beatable and Chelsea struggling big time this may actually be a great year with United firing on all fronts and Liverpool also regaining some form. Shame about Firmino getting hurt. Will be interesting to see if Spurs can replicate their city performance as well. Still think this is Arsenal's best chance. United are one or two injuries away from slipping up as well and unless Martial continues playing as he has all year (Doubt a 19 year old can keep up with the fixture list piling on) I can't see United having the depth (especially in defense) to win it. Next 3 weeks will tell us a lot though, Arsenal - Everton - Man City. Two CL matches in between those too. Will be very interesting indeed.

Loved the LVG interview. Say what you want but he is very honest there and very practical. I am glad he didn't make excuses and gave credit where it is due. Arsenal were absolutely brilliant today. From the game plan to the execution it was football at its best. I'm envious, lvg teams can play like that too on their best day, Southampton was a great example. To do it against a rival in a big match is even more impressive. Fortunately I'm not in this position often as a United fan but we were dominated today. Absolutely. It was the worst performance I have ever seen United with, even worse than when Barcelona made us look like an amateur team in 2 CL finals. Wenger was like a violinist in the middle of his most majestic solo performance.PS: I am glad martial is getting some praise, I thought he was the best part of this mediocre performance. Could have done better on the finish but he picked his spot and Cech did well to save it too. Well done Arsenal, this may be a great psychological boost for a long overdue title challenge. Wish Sir Alex had retired having mastered one last Wenger challenge but Wenger also deserve to go on top.

10/5/2015 9:22:52 AM
Never understood why Mourinho is so utterly obsessed with a guy who he has pretty much dominated. His press conferences are just so odd at this point.
10/5/2015 9:28:13 AM
Reasonable expectations of Klopp aimorris?
10/6/2015 3:34:48 PM
I think the talent is there for a top 4 challenge and it's early enough that he could get them there. I'm not going to be pissed about it if they aren't though. As long as he shows some progress and it's fun to watch Liverpool games again eventually, I won't complain much.
10/6/2015 4:55:41 PM
it is set up perfectly for Klopp. No pressure, he will be able to ride out the first year without any real expectation. Get used to the PL and understand the needs of the team before next summer.
10/7/2015 11:59:01 AM
Have Liverpool hired Klopp yet?
10/8/2015 9:23:39 AM
