The t shirts aren't even really t shirts. They look like one of two things no one wears to games:

Bike jerseys (if tight) or pajamas (if looser).

May as well require bike shorts as well. No NBA fan has team-branded bike shorts yet! We can sell new stuff!

Seriously, there's no rationalization for making all players wear those things.

he couldn't guard anybody in college. it's going to be way worse in the NBA. he was a bad defender on a bad defensive team. he isn't nearly tall/strong enough to guard a PF and he isn't quick enough to keep up with NBA wings. THE DUDE PLAYED POWER FORWARD IN COLLEGE FOR FOUR YEARS AND BLOCKED 14 SHOTS. 14!!! and three of those years were playing against the tough foes of the missouri valley conference.

this isn't about him being white. this is about him being a shitty defensive player.

he's certainly talented enough to be a starter in the NBA, but his defensive shortcomings are going to cost him minutes against teams he doesn't match up against well.

^^ You ever stop to think that may be by design? You can't have that guy getting in foul trouble because he was their whole team on the other end. He can't help you on the bench when he picks up his 3rd foul in the first half. We actually have no idea how good he can be on the defensive end.

Ribs, you can have mcdermott. it's one thing to not be an overly aggressive defender, it's another when you put no effort into defending. i see him being a shooter coming off the bench, mainly because of his craptacular defense.

I honestly think McDermott will be just fine defensively. Not everyone on your team is going to be a shut down defender. Give me a guy that can hit a couple 3's per game and open up the paint for Big Al and others.
