Dykes would piss me off so much. Aspiring to be average hire. He has one of (if not the?) worst defenses in college football this year. 8-5 and 9-3 the last two years? Really? Didn't we just fire some asshole for doing that?

Let's not hire some guy we hope can be Larry Fedora, please.

I definitely dont want an all offense no defense coach.

Helfrich doesn't coach Oregon's defense, that makes no sense.

had a dream last night where i was invited to live in some kind of 1985esque makeshift bunker with Coach Taylor from FNL and his family...it was like a somewhat sophisticated but still crude pillow fort for adults if you will, but it was pretty cool...and I hit it off with Julie...at what I'd guess was about 7am this morning, we were getting ready to leave to go somewhere and bone, but one of us made some noise and Coach Taylor woke up...he only saw me (Jules was upstairs) but he asked me if it was just me, and I had to tell him I was about to leave with her...Coach Taylor just makes you want to tell the truth

I think he'd be a great hire, what a character guy, he just wants to help out his kids become good people

cant blame a coordinator for only being proven on one side of the ball.

sure as fuck can blame a HC, though.

thing that scares me about helfrich is he doesnt call the plays

where did I say he was their DC? I was saying Oregon, as a program, has a nice mix.

Bobo...hmmmm. I'm sure that's just a name someone pulled out of a hat hoping it sticks. I don't know how I would feel about that.

My lady friend is a UGA grad and everyone down there hates him as much as we hated Bible here. That being said, they only lost to the Marcus Lattimores this year...and are possibly headed to a national title birth. They are all probably a bunch of cry baby faggots because they don't win the SEC every year.

Bobo produces. Or maybe Gurley and Marshall produce. It's really hard to tell how well an O coordinator is doing at a school like fucking Georgia...where 5 star atheletes are banging there heads against a wall hoping for playing time.

Morris is more impressive if you ask me.

If Bobo is one of their top recruiters, I'm fine with that. If he's just an OC playing with fancy toys other recruiters get for him, not interested.

It's a lot easier to make chicken salad when you have really nice ingredients. It's a lot harder to make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

I'm sure TOB could win 10 games a year with the talent Alabama and UGA have.

There was a time where TOB actually seemed to give a shit about recruiting. After his first season, he reeled in six 4-star recruits: Glennon, Manning, Barnes, Mattes, Kyle Linney, and Sam Jones. He also got some big-time 3 star talent too.

I think he just got old and complacent ... he was just going through the motions recruiting-wise the past few years.

FWIW, I am hearing Chad Morris is the leading candidate and tomorrow's BOT meeting is to approve his contract. He is going to bring at least two Clemson assistants with him (Robbie Caldwell?)

It is not Morris. Plain and simple.

I've said it before that he doesn't even remotely fit the yow mold.

Morris is not on the short list.

Love how some sources say definitely 1 person, then another source directly says that 1 person isn't even a candidate.

Think I've seen more "sources" saying Chad Morris isn't even a candidate. Citing his expected pay and lack of coaching experience.

Yesterday it seemed Kirby Smart was the favorite pick for the job per most "sources", can't wait to see who the favorite is today, haha.

My source with the secret handshake did an extra move that seemed to hint at Bill Cowher. I saw the two share the same handshake when leaving a basketball game a few years ago.
