Well that guy didn't go to Groovy Cakes. They're a simple dutch bakery
8/6/2012 11:09:40 AM
she didn't face plant...she landed on her side
8/6/2012 11:16:37 AM
hog wash
8/6/2012 11:18:49 AM
girl definitely face planted.
8/6/2012 12:11:40 PM
db must be thinking of someone else, that was clearly a faceplant
8/6/2012 12:17:24 PM
too bad the Fierce Five it is one and done (olympics)....they will be around 20 which is too old.....center of gravity changes can jump as high with boobs and birther hips start to develop. We will have a whole new group of 16 or 17 year olds though! The one that landed on her ass she will be 20.[Edited on August 6, 2012 at 12:27 PM. Reason : w]
8/6/2012 12:25:32 PM
yeah, that's usually the case. but how about Oksana Chusovitina of Germany, who was competing for a medal last night at the age of 37 at her 6th olympics?
8/6/2012 12:36:14 PM
I'd like to see a new format for the Olympics where each country sends like 12 men and 12 women totalThose athletes would compete in every single Olympic sportbasketball, soccer, sprinting, long distance running, shotput, judo, swimming, diving, trampoline, table tennis, fencing, etc]
8/6/2012 12:37:41 PM
she looked pathetic to be honestequivalent fluff competitor to the guy with no legs who got embarassed on national tv
8/6/2012 12:38:36 PM
nah, she didn't really look that pathetic. did she come in 5th?and she came in second in the vault in the last year's world championship.you sure do enjoy hating, dontcha?
8/6/2012 12:43:39 PM
5th in event where everyone busted their ass
8/6/2012 12:45:32 PM
she's pretty much just a vault specialist, she sucks at every other eventand she's not that great at vault really. the fact is if she was american she wouldnt have made the team for the past 20 years[Edited on August 6, 2012 at 12:51 PM. Reason : .]
8/6/2012 12:47:15 PM
^^what about 2nd last year in the world events? you have figured out that the people performing in the olympics are the best in the world at what they do, right? she actually beat out hundreds of other competetors to even perform at the olympics.
8/6/2012 12:52:00 PM
hundreds of other 30 year olds and college kids that dont have her experienceim sorry, i thought your mom looked out of place, get over it.[Edited on August 6, 2012 at 12:55 PM. Reason : e]
8/6/2012 12:53:46 PM
really? i was under the impression that she beat out all the other german vaulters, even the younger ones, to get there?anyways, hate on big hit, hate on.
8/6/2012 12:55:15 PM
was it McKayla or w/e that face planted? I heard she slipped and fell on her ass during her vault We need some youtubes up in this bitch
8/6/2012 12:56:27 PM
NO, youre hating on ME.you can be under any impression/delusion/misinformation you want but go look up the competitors she beatnah mikayla didnt face plant, she slipped and landed on her rear the second vault. her first one was real good. It was crazy, competitors kept fallling i had the feeling it was bad JUJU[Edited on August 6, 2012 at 12:57 PM. Reason : r]
8/6/2012 12:56:31 PM
i think a lot of gymnasts who train in the US and apparently China too were having issues with the vault, floor and pommel because it's a different brand then they're used to.
8/6/2012 12:58:06 PM
even if you were to say "you know what, at 37 she is still one of the best vaulters in the world" she is an outlier. you cant argue that she is the norm and that gabby douglas and mckayla maroney are going to be on the us team for the next 20 years
8/6/2012 12:58:08 PM
i'm not arguing that all. i just thought it was kinda neat that a 37 year old can hang with teenagers. then bhs had to chime in about how pathetic and token she was.
8/6/2012 1:03:11 PM
its neat but it is dubious
8/6/2012 1:05:16 PM
yes let's rag on people who made it to the olympics for their age, hairstyle, parents economic status and all that stuff. good use of time.
8/6/2012 1:06:19 PM
was her 2nd place finish in the world events last year also dubious?
8/6/2012 1:06:47 PM
depends on relative performance
8/6/2012 1:13:11 PM
Can we get a gif or video link to the fall in question?
8/6/2012 1:26:18 PM
this is what I knowMcKayla Maroneyand then but not to be outdone, Canada shows upEllie Blackpretty sure this is the same fall but at a different anglegymnast: sprints to a vault does multiple flips and gets points off for landingme: walks 100 ft and trip over everything--]
8/6/2012 1:35:03 PM
Aw, she even posed while sittingLol at the CanadianThanks for the gifs
8/6/2012 1:41:35 PM
DIVING!
8/6/2012 2:03:54 PM
8/6/2012 2:05:35 PM
McKayla Maroney looks like shes gonna be a crazy bitch in a few years. Shes got that stare of death look down
8/6/2012 2:05:45 PM
Impressive to fall like that and still make it out with a silver.

8/6/2012 2:07:35 PM
legs hit first but thats definitely a full on faceplant
8/6/2012 2:13:14 PM
watching equestrian jumping now... do people ship their horse around the world for these events? Or do the riders borrow horses when they compete in other countries? It seems like they would need their own horses, but I can't imagine the animals boarding a plane to get over the ocean.
8/6/2012 2:20:27 PM
they ship em. there was a story on the other night... they're shipped via fed-ex
8/6/2012 2:21:14 PM
equestrian should not be an Olympic event
8/6/2012 2:26:00 PM
opinions are like assholes... everybody has one

uhhhh have you ever ridden a horse??
8/6/2012 3:09:38 PM
I used to ride every weekend... it's not easy, but it would be fun to have a separate ceremony for the horses.
8/6/2012 3:11:47 PM
dont get me wrong, the horses deserve recognition, but its a joint project between rider, horse and trainerto say that any one of those three has no effect on the outcome is just baseless
8/6/2012 3:14:33 PM
if you cannot handle the horse correctly or give it accurate and timely direction you will end up on your back with the wind knocked out of you.also they will stomp on you if they are mad at you[Edited on August 6, 2012 at 3:17 PM. Reason : .]
