i don't obviously know the exact circumstances because I was not there and don't know the layout, etc of the food court, but I would not leave my former 2 year old (my current 3 year old) 30 yards away in a busy public place like that. yeah me too but i'm 4 years older than my sister, and I don't ever recall being put in charge of her when i was 6 and she was 2 in a public mall a third of a football field away. Even though I consider it a poor choice, I do question the ARREST since the kids were still within eyesight of the mom.

I could see the ban as long as they permit vapping. Unfortunately it seems the hardcore anti tobacco advocacy groups have a hard time seeing vapping as a lesser of two evils. Kinda like how born again Christian nutjobs don't see birth control and sex Ed as the lesser of two evils in the abortion fight.

I fully support the ban of smoking outside. Why? Because assholes that smoke can't seem to stay away from building entrances. That judge is a monster. He said he is making an example of the hook-up culture... what? Millions of people do that daily, he thinks punishing one person will do anything to dent that culture?

That's a total miscarriage of justice. Why was the girl not punished, either for lying, or for hooking up?

And the terms of the registry are a flagrant violation of human rights in today's world. He can't go to college ever because he is not allowed to use a computer... that's disgusting.
