^ wow, that's a bit on the crazy side...
10/14/2009 12:05:21 PM
I'm liable to say any goddamned thing!
10/14/2009 12:16:00 PM
Let's hear your outrage about Rush Limbaugh.
10/14/2009 1:17:19 PM
^ 1. Is Rush Limbaugh on a news channel? (Well, MSLSD is allegedly a "news" channel.)2. What am I to be outraged about concerning Limbaugh? Please give me specific quotations--and please check to make sure that these haven't been manufactured.
10/14/2009 1:27:28 PM
Calling it "MSLSD" is neither clever, nor advances any point you wish to make. It's childish.
10/14/2009 1:31:15 PM
^ Take it up with Mark Levin--he started it. Young people who long to be grownups are the ones who are overly concerned with declaring this or that as "childish." Given the programming of the channel at issue, I think "MSLSD" is apt.
10/14/2009 1:42:32 PM
^ Okay, and you're validating it by saying "but other people are doing it, too!", which is also childish.
10/14/2009 1:45:11 PM
^
10/14/2009 1:54:14 PM
10/14/2009 1:54:45 PM
^ Of course it does. Anything that can't be quantified is therefore immediately against people that are delusional. I bet Glenn Beck is afraid of the Internet, too.
10/14/2009 1:56:04 PM
Hacksaw is trolling particularly hard today.
10/14/2009 1:58:38 PM
I think he might be butthurt over the Nobel.
10/14/2009 1:59:05 PM
^^^^ You've proven nothing. Please post specifics. And are you as outraged that the "Reverend" Jesse Jackson referred to Jews as "Hymies" and to New York City as "Hymietown"? http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/frenzy/jackson.htmAnd are you as outraged that the "Reverend" Al Sharpton said the following?
10/14/2009 2:04:36 PM
Don't forget that Jesse Jackson called Obama the N word.... I guess he gets a pass on that though
10/14/2009 2:07:59 PM
Outraged. You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.
10/14/2009 2:08:54 PM
^^ Yeah, Jackson also said he wanted to cut Obama's "nuts off."http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aLGkFpsdHo^ Why don't you educate us all then, smart guy? What does it mean to you?
10/14/2009 2:12:36 PM
Do you ever not have a weak comeback? Educate yourself. Are you actually outraged, or just annoyed by it?
10/14/2009 2:15:51 PM
^ Can you comprehend the concept of sarcasm?
10/14/2009 2:20:04 PM
^ Yes, I can. How about you?
10/14/2009 2:20:44 PM
^ Do you have anything to offer on, you know, the topic or would you simply like to continue calling me some version of a poopyhead?
10/14/2009 2:23:29 PM
10/14/2009 2:55:37 PM
Comparing Rush to Sharpton/Jackson is like comparing David Letterman to Tavis Smiley. No one gives a shit if Tavis fucks a co-worker.
10/14/2009 2:55:45 PM
10/14/2009 2:55:58 PM
^^so why do people care so much about what limbaugh says, and just turn a blind ear to anything sharpton/jackson says?cause Limbaugh's radio show gets higher ratings than Sharpton's show?[Edited on October 14, 2009 at 3:02 PM. Reason : ^^]
10/14/2009 2:59:50 PM
I'm not?
10/14/2009 3:01:29 PM
Sharpton has a show?
10/14/2009 3:01:37 PM
yeah he does, they had it syndicated when Michael Jackson died...I hadn't heard it before (or since) so how come no one gives a shit what Jackson or Sharpton says, but they do give a shit what Rush says?it seemed like that was the point you were trying to make[Edited on October 14, 2009 at 3:04 PM. Reason : .]
10/14/2009 3:02:47 PM
I figured the reason is clear: Rush is a media pundit whose show gets the highest radio ratings and has a $400 mil/year budget. Sharpton doesn't have any of that I'm guessing. I haven't even heard of his show.If Al Sharpton's show is about race-baiting and spreading hate-filled vitriol, then lets get some nasty quotes and tear him down.
10/14/2009 4:00:15 PM
But what does the popularity of Rush's show have to do with ignoring racist comments made over the years by guys like Sharpton and Jackson? How come when Rush makes a controversial comment, its a huge deal, but when Sharpton or Jackson makes a controversial comment, "no one gives a shit"?I would expect people to care about the content of someone's words, moreso than how many people listen to their show, or how much money their show makes, and other trivial things that have nothing to do with what a person saysIts funny that people will let TV and radio personalities like Hannity and Rush and Glenn Beck MAKE THEM SO MAD ]
10/14/2009 4:21:11 PM
So you're saying influence has no importance on what someone says?Well, shoot, I never realized there's literally no difference in weight carried between me stating my position and the President stating his position. Thanks for pointing that out!
10/14/2009 4:23:44 PM
hey look its another strawman by God, what else is new
10/14/2009 4:24:16 PM
I couldn't find any racist quotes from Sharpton's show. I don't know why I'm supposed to be outraged at him.
10/14/2009 4:45:25 PM
I figured it was common knowledge that Sharpton was a racist
10/14/2009 5:00:25 PM
I saw online that MSLSD is in full defense-of-Obama mode concerning tonight's elections. They can't trip over themselves fast enough to howl, "It's not a referendum on Obama! It's not a referendum on Obama!"Sweet Jesus.
11/4/2009 12:17:36 AM
Because it is in fact not a referendum on Obama. They may be tripping over themselves to push this out, but that doesn't mean it's not true.
11/4/2009 12:21:45 AM
^ Cry yourself to sleep repeating that--Obama says different.Obama says N.J. governor is key to his agendaNov . 1, 2009
11/4/2009 12:36:23 AM
haha, wowyou are REALLY reaching there[Edited on November 4, 2009 at 12:40 AM. Reason : ]
11/4/2009 12:40:04 AM
^ EDIT.Not at all. 1. Obama himself identified Corzine as key to his agenda.2. Voters have rejected Corzine.3. Voters have rejected a key to Obama's agenda.4. This is an indication that voters are rejecting Obama's agenda.Fallacy of composition be damned!
11/4/2009 12:44:18 AM
^ so you're saying that the people of virigina chose their governor based on Obama's statement that their governor is key to his plans? And you're accepting Obama's statement in a literal way, and now Obama's plans will collapse because a single governor wasn't elected?Do you realize how dumb this sounds?
11/4/2009 12:52:25 AM
^ No, you're dumb. See how that works? The Democrats loss is certainly a setback for Obama, wouldn't you say? Why was he campaigning so hard for Corzine then?Obama suffers setback as Republicans win governor races in Virginia, New JerseyBy THE ASSOCIATED PRESS (CP) – 1 hour agohttp://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5gfN0iwybhk1o42sV80MLUQizM1VQ[Edited on November 4, 2009 at 1:00 AM.
