Suns just looked horrible in every aspect of the game today (excluding Amare).Nobody could hit an open shot, stupid turnovers, bad defense...and then the Pistons couldn't miss a shot. I've never seen Phoenix play this bad.And whatever happened to Diaw? Ever since he played amazing two years ago in the playoffs, he has been on a steady decline. He played alright in Shaq's first two games back, but was back to his old form tonight. I think Phoenix has been counting on him to improve over the past few years...but he definitely hasn't. Would be nice to see him step up in Marion's absence.Bell needs to pick it up too. He hasn't exactly played well this year either. Here's to hoping the whole team can step it up come playoff time.I will say that Amare has looked absolutely ridiculous since Shaq arrived. That medium range jump shot he has improves his game ten-fold. He's one of the more dominant players in the league right now.[Edited on February 24, 2008 at 9:33 PM. Reason : .]

yeah. I am surprised at how well amare looks next to shaq. Shaq just looks lost on offense.Diaw had that great year the same time Nash had his best season. He got fat that next year. I always thought he was a product of the system. he's a great passer but he does nothing else really well. he's not a good shooter or ball handler. he's not very athletic. He just seems to do everything decent
2/24/2008 9:42:10 PM
12 in a row mang!
2/24/2008 10:30:04 PM
Nuggets/ pistons tonight probably the best game on the schedule
2/25/2008 2:54:33 PM
I can't believe the nuggets wouldnt make the playoffs if things ended today. I know they can't stop anybody on defense but damn they would be the 4th best team in the east for sure.I actually think the Warriors will be the team left out at the end
2/25/2008 3:11:32 PM
They should take two spots away from the East and give them to the West. The East doesn't deserve 8 playoff spots this year.I don't how exactly they would reconfigure they playoffs this way...but they should still do it.I also have a feeling the Hornets could possibly drop out of the playoffs. They have a tough tough remaining schedule...and I think they're just too young to keep this good play up (which is already kind of showing).
2/25/2008 3:15:02 PM
when you talk about letting the best 16 teams make the playoffs, or some type of realignment its pretty simple...in your scenario when the west should get 10 spots this year and the east should get 6, obviously teams like new jersey and philly and atlanta are opposed...and obviously teams like houston and denver and golden state are in favor of...wont ever happen though imo...the NFL is discussing something similar where the top 12 teams would go instead of the current system...i dont see that ever happening either
2/25/2008 5:45:01 PM
it would make conferences, divisions, etc.... meaningless. It will never happen
2/25/2008 11:01:47 PM
I don't think anyone is seriously saying it will ever happen...but it sure would be nice this year to see 10 teams from the West in the playoffs. And I could really care less about anybody out of the top 4 in the East.BTW...Hornets took a tough L tonight. They better watch out this half of the season...they could slip out of the playoff picture.
2/25/2008 11:12:16 PM
I really think that is a possibility. ^ As good as they've looked, they are only around 5 or six games away from that 9 spot.
2/25/2008 11:14:26 PM
the nuggets suck
2/26/2008 9:08:02 AM
The Nuggets are an awesome video game team but an average real life teamLike how the Vikings were when they had Culpepper, Moss and Michael Bennett (98 speed ftw)
2/26/2008 10:06:32 AM
Rockets looking for their 13TH STRAIGHT WIN tonight as they host Antawn Jamison and the Washington Wizards. The Wizards have been struggling lately, winning just 3 of their last 10 games as Caron Butler's injury piles up the woes already started by Gilbert Arenas' early season knee surgery. Also despite Arenas' claim to return to action by this Sunday, March the 2nd, Arenas is now not so sure. Also Sacramento travels into Miami to beat Dwayne Wade, Shawn Marion, and the rest of the scrubs in a surprisingly close game. One of the more interesting games tonight might be the Phoenix @ Memphis game. Memphis moved Gasol because he didn't fit in there and they wanted to run more. Phoenix required Shaq because they were weak on interior defense, but Shaq has limited Phoenix's ability to run and score points lately. Conley Jr. continues to improve. If they can somehow limit Amare, don't be surprised to see an upset tonight.]
2/26/2008 12:46:08 PM
Wizards looked good last night in beating the Hornets.Deshawn Stevenson is an explosive guard who can go off on certain nights (like he did last night). That being said...the Rockets are playing extremely well and I don't expect their winning streak to go down tonightAnd Phoenix needs to right the ship tonight. A loss to Memphis could really hurt team morale after that spanking by Detroit.
2/26/2008 12:50:11 PM
Tonights game are alright but none really stand outTomorrow night is where its at...3 big time gamesYou got Cleveland and BostonDetroit and Utahand Phoenix and New Orleans

2/26/2008 1:29:06 PM
now when I want to be bored to tears by someone's play, it's back to Tim Duncan.
2/26/2008 1:31:34 PM
at least he can kick it to Ginobli for a non-boring play
2/26/2008 1:36:17 PM

2/26/2008 1:45:27 PM
no, but if you have someone expendable, he wouldnt be a bad pickup
2/26/2008 1:47:48 PM
i'd rather pick up battier, somebody just dropped him for gooden yesterdayi don't have anybody expendable though really...Arenas and now Gerald Wallace being hurt is depleting me...the sooner I find out that one of them is done for the year, the sooner I drop his ass
2/26/2008 1:54:46 PM
i have arenas, wallace, yao as well...was make a big time run to the top...now.......
2/26/2008 1:57:46 PM
they should not have traded bonzi wellssaid it before the injury and now it is magnified
2/26/2008 2:00:09 PM
I don't think that really makes a difference, its not like they play the same positionI think they should try to intercept the Mavs signing Magloire and offer him more moneySo unless T Mac carries the team on his back...the 8 playoff teams in the West are all but decided[Edited on February 26, 2008 at 2:05 PM. 2/27/2008 1:10:03 PM
WITH ABOUT 25 GAMES TO GO, WHO IS THE BEST TEAM IN THE NBA RIGHT NOW???
2/27/2008 1:48:30 PM
Lakers and Pistons maybe. I would probably take the Pistons on a neutral court....so Pistons it is.
2/27/2008 3:09:46 PM
kind of avoiding the question by changing the criteria but i'd say the best teamS right now are:EAST:Boston/DetroitWEST: LA Lakers / Spurs
2/27/2008 3:20:17 PM
Yeah if I had to pick the two conference finals right now thats who I'd pickThough I've softened on my stance that Cleveland or Orlando couldn't beat either of the two East heavyweights (though I still don't give Toronto a chance)and Utah and Phoenix I think have the best chance of crashing the party from the Westbut its still February...a lot can and will change in the next month and a halfLook at last season's NBA thread...like 6 pages totalJust shows how much more exciting this season is
2/27/2008 3:24:51 PM
are either of the quality game on TV tonight? by tv, I mean ESPN or TNT.
2/27/2008 3:26:24 PM
