I guess Larry didn't merit a silent clock?

metal gear almeida ftmfw. ahahaha
4/13/2009 9:57:31 PM
so what does this make Tony, a quadruple agent?
4/13/2009 9:58:12 PM
4/13/2009 10:00:31 PM
Haha before at the start of this episode I told my gf to watch out for Tony to turn bad soon. This is her first season watching 24 and she was very surprised when it actually happened.
4/13/2009 10:07:08 PM
^^^ triple, I think. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that he's been working for hodges this entire time[Edited on April 13, 2009 at 10:09 PM. Reason : ]
4/13/2009 10:09:13 PM
But that makes absolutely no sense. Why would he blow up the rockets? I don't see any logical explanation for how the chain of events of the last few hours would have unraveled in this way if Tony was still bad. I think they found that they were wrapping the story up 6 hours too early and had to come up with some final bullshit. It's sad too, because I thought the first 12 or so hours of the season were a return to form after a fairly disappointing last season, but now it seems more like a James Bond movie than 24.
4/13/2009 10:11:52 PM
Tony has been working the entire time for someone else. Probably David Palmer zombie style.
4/13/2009 10:28:41 PM
Phillip Bauer will be back with a burned face and he'll be married to Martha Logan...
4/13/2009 10:35:56 PM
Perhaps the virus will cause Jack to gain super human powers and he will sprout wings and fly to intercept a missile carrying the bio weapon in the final hour. Then there will be a lesbian scene with Renee and Kim.
4/13/2009 10:38:07 PM
4/13/2009 10:39:14 PM
i doubt tony was in cahoots with hodges, just someone else on the inside who could get him the bioweapon for whatever. he didn't need all those rockets, just the small canister (i'm guessing)and does anyone really think that's the last we'll see of kim? i highly doubt it[Edited on April 13, 2009 at 11:07 PM. Reason : /]
4/13/2009 10:42:24 PM
^she will be back. Jack still needs to live for another couple of hours at least.
4/13/2009 11:54:31 PM
tony has been playing deep cover for years now, he's got connections with all of those mercenary groups, he's probably just back to playing the part now (or has all along) to get to the real bottom of the whole thingif the writers are really going metal gear solid on us, the big cog that has been controlling blackwate...i mean whatever they're called, is going to be some fucking La Li Lu Le Lo global conspiracy puppeteer organization or some shitand personally I think they could make a pretty good show out of a splinter cell/metal gear solid style premise, MGS3 was damn near cinematic through and through, bond-esque intro music and all
4/14/2009 12:23:39 AM
4/14/2009 1:25:16 AM
yeah this just became quantum of solace and i hated that movie...but the doctor lady is hot - i want to see more of herand you could see kim's bleached mustache hairs wtf...[Edited on April 14, 2009 at 3:50 AM. Reason : .]
4/14/2009 3:50:03 AM
When Jonas said, "i'm just a cog in a big wheel" or whatever... It makes me think Tony is working for him...But as someone said earlier, it just wouldn't make sense that Jonas and his henchman would fake all that stuff to lure Tony..etc...What if the president's son really isn't dead and he is part of the plot... Someone we have forgot about is going to come into play soon...just the way it works. I could see it being Jack's dad... President's daughter is a possible choice... or Daniels
4/14/2009 5:34:12 AM
alls i know is that if Tony was really trying to get to the bottom of anything for the good guys he wouldn't have killed Moss.
4/14/2009 8:30:12 AM
^ That's exactly what I was about to post. The ONLY thing I can think of to argue otherwise is that he knew Moss was about to die anyway.I'd be curious to think back through the entire season so far to see if everything Tony has done can be rationalized with this.
4/14/2009 9:12:47 AM
another possibility is tony knew Larry Moss was corrupted and no one else did, but i doubt that
4/14/2009 11:36:33 AM
I hope tony doesn't die.....again.
4/14/2009 11:49:31 AM
i KNEW as soon as moss finally decided to throw out his rule book that something would happen to him. such is life on 24
4/14/2009 12:00:42 PM
Are we sure that Moss is really dead? Maybe he's just unconscious . . .I guess he could be undead like Tony. And come back to wreak havoc on Walker after she settles down with Jack. For the record, I like Terrorist Tony. And as soon as Walker and Moss thought everything was over with the bioweapons, they both said they had lots to talk about . . . and that's the 24 death sentence.[Edited on April 14, 2009 at 5:50 PM. 4/14/2009 5:49:10 PM
i think they could have done a better job at Tony not exposing Moss's nostril for airflowlook back and he leaves some air room several times during the "suffocation"
4/14/2009 6:05:04 PM
actually, there have been small clues..one clue was Tony going absent for quite a few episodes to "follow up with a source" and then showing up when Jack was sitting on the steps in washington..another was during this episode.... when the villains were pumping the rocket fuel, that one guy said "i have to do another perimeter check"...he was in cahoots with tony and it allowed tony to ambush the other guy
4/14/2009 6:09:02 PM
yea i thought about your last statement during the show last night
4/14/2009 6:16:53 PM
^^^ I noticed that too, I was like there is no way he would be suffocating right now.
4/14/2009 7:02:14 PM
moss has to be dead. there wasn't any reason to "pretend" to kill him, plus he was bleeding out anyway. then if moss lived, all he would do is implicate tony and that surely wouldn't be the point of letting him live. looks like we'll get jack vs. tony part deux[Edited on April 14, 2009 at 7:45 PM. 4/14/2009 7:43:40 PM
when tony was first captured by starkwood, jonas def didn't push him very far and i remember he muttered something to him...i dunno...fishy i tell you, fishy
4/14/2009 10:35:03 PM
Jonas was like "thats impossible!" when he heard about the rockets being blown up. im wondering if he is like "wtf tony wtf dude"...i think tony may be connected but maybe he thinks their priority doesn't have to involve killing a lot of people
4/15/2009 1:14:07 AM
larry moss is still alive and tony is still good bet your last dollar on that!
4/15/2009 8:44:21 AM
4/15/2009 10:51:55 AM
Tony doesn't work for Hodges, he works for someone else.
4/15/2009 11:45:16 AM
You guys complain all the time about how predictable and formulaic this show is, and now when they finally do something is truly shocking and unexpected, you whine some more. There are still 6 more episodes to this season, give the writers a chance to make sense of all this.
4/15/2009 2:25:05 PM
damn, i'd like to see it turn out that tony is still good somehow but i just don't see it happening. i always liked tony and if he's really bad then i don't really see him making it past this season alive.
4/16/2009 12:13:02 AM
I just remembered that this is 24... there is always a larger, more global conspiracy. and there is always a double/quadruple agent on the inside that you never suspect....
4/16/2009 12:27:56 AM
Janeane Garofalo is in charge of the whole plot.
4/16/2009 9:12:32 AM
news reports they are going to NYC in the last 6 hours - wonder why...
4/16/2009 5:00:38 PM
the news report i heard said that the next season was going to be in NYC, nothing about this season
4/16/2009 5:03:54 PM
oh cool - maybe i misheard it
4/16/2009 6:00:48 PM
that would be awesome. The move to DC has greatly helped this season. It was always such a stretch to have the heavy focus on LA and the west coast, where the President rarely goes.
4/16/2009 6:06:29 PM
I don't watch this show, but reading about how it's turned into a Metal Gear Solid plot is hilarious.
4/16/2009 6:12:27 PM
they said it was going to focus on NYC, with a middle eastern diplomat coming to the US on a peace-seeking mission
4/16/2009 6:12:41 PM
gay that Tony is commanding this from his iPhone while in FBI medical custody....that dude's like "white women..... yep, they all look the same" [Edited on April 20, 2009 at 9:17 PM. Reason : .]
4/20/2009 9:14:09 PM
that doesn't sit right.....Tony wouldn't be so glib about exposing himself to Jack without assurance that Jack was about to die.
4/20/2009 9:57:51 PM
tony doesn't know about the cure, obviously....jack is gonna come back and take names.
4/20/2009 10:00:32 PM
^^ that struck me odd as well, no way Tony would be that careless, especially after knowing jack all these years.watch him end up really being a quadruple agent. 1) working for emerson2) working for bill buchannan3) working for "the machine"/patriots/secret organization4) really working for buchannan or some other good guys, trying to get "inside" the secret organization[Edited on April 20, 2009 at 10:06 PM.
