oh yeah, you're right, because those are such hard characters to play....
1/5/2007 10:41:24 PM
did you watch little miss sunshine? i thought carrell did a good job in that. not oscar-worthy or anything -- but certainly far better than anything i've seen gervais do.
1/5/2007 10:44:46 PM
look, i'm not arguing gervais is a better actor and i think steve carrell is great, i enjoy his roles in moviesand i haven't seen little miss sunshine but as for the others, they're not exactly in-depth character roles that he does alot with, which is cool with me because what he's doin is working
1/5/2007 10:47:02 PM
little miss sunshine was. i think it showed a new side (and range) of carrell.
1/5/2007 10:48:57 PM
ok i guess i'll have to check it out
1/5/2007 11:07:04 PM
i don't know why you people need to analyze (or what makes you qualified to analyze, for that matter), the depth of character roles and shit.just enjoy the fucking hilarity

what a great episode
1/11/2007 9:01:19 PM
indeed great episodedwight's gotta be back... nbc would be retarded to let him goi bet jim requests him back 2 episodes down the road
1/11/2007 9:18:07 PM
I dunno if Dwight will be back just yet, I can see NBC going for a couple of gags with Dwight looking for jobs elsewhere.Imagine him behind the Register at McDonald's or something, Jim would have a blast messing with him.
1/11/2007 9:38:50 PM
best episode this season
1/11/2007 10:49:23 PM
i dunno, i dont think it was quite as perfect as the christmas episode
1/11/2007 11:14:37 PM
1/11/2007 11:33:09 PM
i liked the ep - showed everyone in their primeshowed how michael saw his employees - he was very resistant to negatives and fault-findingloved the jim and dwight car scene with dwight hitting his head and then the scene where jim slapped himloved the sales calls--loved the look gave phyllis when she realized why they got their hair styled like thisthought dwight was going to blow the sales call but it was a genius strategyreally started hating andy during that sales call - i would have fired him right after that call if i was michaelloved the look ryan gave stanley when he started his crossword like OMG SAVE ME but stanley wasn't even lookingangela looked surprisingly nicer in this episode - before she was hideousi thought dwight would out their relationship but he didn'ti thought michael would have a heart at the end and say no stay but he didn't[Edited on January 12, 2007 at 2:19 AM. 1/12/2007 11:14:26 AM
The only bad thing was that there was too much makeup for certain people to be shown in HD.
1/12/2007 11:45:58 AM
^ i dont think you get the premiss of the show
1/12/2007 1:47:38 PM

1/12/2007 5:58:52 PM
me and my roommate thought it was "hawkman" and we said what the hell does that mean
1/12/2007 6:16:45 PM
^^yeah, he said hawkman in reference to the super friends comment from andy[Edited on January 12, 2007 at 6:59 PM. Reason : *]
1/12/2007 6:54:34 PM
I thought he said "Talkman", i.e. Andy would not shut the fuck up
1/12/2007 8:31:57 PM
It was "Hawkman".They were talking about superheroes.
1/12/2007 8:35:04 PM
The Super Friends was a cartoon back in the 70s, and a precurser to the more recent "Justice League". They were a group of super heros (Superman, Aquaman, Batman etc) that teamed up to fight the Legion of Doom. Hawkman was one of the Super Friends. Andy described the office to be like the Super Friends, except for Dwight, who, according to Andy, had no special powers except for being tardy. Michael responded by just saying one of the character's names. This was why Andy was getting frustrated, because Michael was not being worn down by his negative talk about Dwight.[Edited on January 12, 2007 at 8:47 PM. Reason : *]
1/12/2007 8:46:24 PM
he definitely said "Talkman", referring to Andy
1/13/2007 5:56:00 AM
he didn't fucking say talkman
1/13/2007 10:26:49 AM
i love how all the nerds get on here and immediately profess their comic book prowess
1/13/2007 10:29:37 AM
^ lol me too, but in a good way, b/c we thought he said "pac man"
1/13/2007 10:40:30 AM
Definitely "Hawkman"
1/13/2007 2:52:47 PM
i had a hawkman toy when I was 7 and it brokehawkman sucks
1/13/2007 3:07:01 PM
i think it goes with Michael's character to say something like "Talkman" or "Pacman", but he definitely said "Hawkman"
1/13/2007 3:11:54 PM
It was cute to see how well Jim and Dwight worked together.Dwight's pre-sale warm-up was huhlarious.
1/13/2007 3:23:06 PM
Andy helps us appreciate Dwight even more.
1/13/2007 3:25:51 PM
^^I liked how Jim intentionally called Kelly's desk who would be excited to have ANYONE to talk to.
1/13/2007 4:36:14 PM
^ i thought she was just sitting at pam's desk, since pam left with angela to go to get coffee
