THE NUMBERS ARE BAD
10/15/2006 8:30:48 PM
not to venture too much into "this shit is real territory," but how could the cylons be stretched thin? just manufacture more
10/15/2006 9:55:19 PM
Cylons are presumably made from materials mined from other planets, etc.So if they ran out of something, well, that'd be it for them.[Edited on October 15, 2006 at 9:57 PM. Reason : .]
10/15/2006 9:57:25 PM
You dont actually know how they are built, and if they can even be made that quickly. Dont even know if there isnt a finite amount of them. It all depends on how they were made before they came back. They might not even know how to make more of themselves. That gives a reason why impregnating a human is so important to them.
10/15/2006 9:58:01 PM
I've also been wondering about the quantity of Terminator Cylons. Anyone remember seeing how many there were on the Resurrection Ship? Tons. And why has there been no mention of a Resurrection Ship on New Caprica? I guess the Cylons must have just ground-based the technology this time, huh? It certainly must not take too long to be resurrected since Leoben just keeps on coming back to Starbuck day after day.
10/16/2006 1:15:26 PM
Yeah, that's why I'm thinking there must still be production- there are [were] so many models on the Resurrection ship that I doubt they all just spontaneously appeared. But hey, maybe they're just recycling the dead ones sometimes, too.
10/16/2006 2:24:21 PM
10/16/2006 2:27:37 PM
i wonder if more Cylons are being produced. Like are they making any with brand new personalities. Or if they're trying to produce a 13th model...Perhaps the reason they're trying to bread so much is they can't get create new personalities any more
10/16/2006 2:29:41 PM
That black guy that was in the room with all the other cylon models. Is he a cylon? Not the helper dude
10/16/2006 3:50:34 PM
^ I think you are talking about the model that was introduced at the fertilization clinic, when they took Starbuck's ovaries. He was the doctor that kept checking up on Starbuck while she was hospitalized. He is a Cylon, I don't know why they don't show him much.
10/16/2006 3:58:04 PM
prolly cause he is black and they dont want to pay him so much money to have all the extra shots
10/16/2006 4:34:22 PM
he's not a cylon, but a race of slaves the cylons createdthe negrobots
10/16/2006 8:01:20 PM
darky + android = Negroid?
10/16/2006 11:00:39 PM
Looking at the preview for tonight, do you think baltar will be killed?

10/20/2006 9:30:05 PM
Fucking awesome episode
10/20/2006 9:59:41 PM
damn right it wasaxelay, i think, was right on the money calling that low re-entry when the viper was leaving Galactica (scene from the season premiere commercials)this episode was so freaking insane
10/20/2006 10:37:26 PM
that low entry viper launch scene was probably the best part of the episode... 100% badass
10/20/2006 10:42:12 PM
yeah...and the galactica jumping away a couple hundred feet away from the ground was awesome
10/20/2006 10:51:39 PM
The best part was when Leonov broke and bent Kara to his will.
10/21/2006 12:51:19 AM
couldn't Pegasus have just jumped to FTL rather than being blown to shit at the end?
10/21/2006 1:01:13 AM
That episode was so good on so many levels!Did ya see him kill his wife, did ya see that fighting, did ya see Baltars face when he was going to kill. I couldnt have asked for anything more. And Starbuck, and one-eye, they have major issues now.....major.
10/21/2006 1:04:33 AM

god I want to put it in Starbuck's butt so bad
10/23/2006 12:12:06 AM
She would stab you cause she is so fucked in the head atm. But I am sure the actor would let you come over and do it. Send a letter though, cause emails are so impersonal
10/23/2006 1:03:05 PM
2nd show of the season and this thread gets to the bottom of the page. I thought you people were excited about BSG
10/24/2006 4:29:52 PM
well, it was an incredible episode that spoke for itself.

Anyone have predictions about how long the series can go without getting redundant. As in, it becomes sorta the same shit over and over now that they are back to a mobile fleet.I am gonna go with 1 more season after 3 before something drastic happens.
10/24/2006 8:43:39 PM
Welllllllllll... let's just say that a trace of the 13th colony - with interesting consequences - is coming very soon. I think that'll have a big impact on the way this season ends. I can definitely see it being exciting for at least one more season. However, has anyone started to see some comparisons with Star Trek Voyager? Most notably, exactly how badly can the Galactica get beat up and continue to function nominally? It drove me crazy in this last episode how it was getting dogpiled, but appeared perfectly fine by the end.
10/24/2006 8:51:01 PM
^ do you work on the crew or something? where do you get your info?ARE YOU A CYLON?!?!?!1
10/24/2006 8:55:28 PM
I wouldn't call "limping away from battle at the cost of the far superior pegasus" appearing perfectly fine
10/24/2006 10:40:00 PM
Yea, you never see how bad it actually is on the outside. Only thing you see is that its returned to normal on the inside. THANK GOD FOR THE MUSTASH SHAVING!What I really wanna see is the population number. AND if they stay in the fleet for any length of time, and the population does increase....wear the hell are they going to stay. You have a fixed volume of living space. And how do they keep reparing everything??? Is there some sort of factory on BSG that can produce things to repair itself in case it had to fight for a long time without getting back to a base/shipyard?koodos for the jumping in mid air ACTUALLY HAVING A NOTICABLE EFFECT ON THE WIND AND PRESSURE!
10/24/2006 11:05:44 PM
10/24/2006 11:13:52 PM
I never hear them talk about shields in the show, but during fights everything just explodes around Galactica without leaving any noticeable damage to the hull but when a Base Star gets it crap starts flying off of it [Edited on October 25, 2006 at 11:07 AM. Reason : base stars]
10/25/2006 10:58:40 AM
I just say this last episode and holy cow, it was as great as everyone here as said it was. I cannot believe the Cylons did recover Herra after all. That is going to be interesting to see how or if Roslin tells Sharon that the Cylons have her again. If they ever find out she's alive. Whatda think Sharon would do? Join the toasters since Lucy Lawless' model wasnt lying after all? Or plan a rescue mission...again... to save her daughter? And I think personally, since I'm not a genuis like these writers, I would say they find/locate Earth by a Season 5. You cant have 5+ seasons all is space, can you?Awesome season so far. That planet jump/entry was FANTASTIC.
