Moss & JJ (JJ because he will be getting a ton of looks)[Edited on October 14, 2005 at 11:29 AM. Reason : p11]

1. Bulger or Brady?2. TB or Buffalo's defense?

Henry and Porter, usually don't like starting TE's over RB or WR's if I can help it.Either will be good, Dallas will depend on the pass more than they usually do but Giants have a pretty good D. I'd say Eli after the bye.Moss, Wayne, and JJ. Wayne will spread looks, but against Pitt I don't know how well Leftwich will be able to distribute the ball.Bulger, even with the pass rush he'll find a couple of passing TD's, and Brady is facing a good Denver defense as well.Buff/Buc, both facing sporadic offenses, Gus will probably throw more pics than Vinny, so I'd say go with Buccs.
10/14/2005 5:13:40 PM
^^^^jurevicius, jimmy smith, and moss are all #1 options on their teams(well jurevicius is 2nd to shaun alexander, but if they get down early b/c the box is stacked then look for jury to go off again)
10/14/2005 6:44:31 PM
^last game Jimmy Smith wasn't the first or second option for the Jags, maybe he'll have a good game following that poor showing last week though.Fred Taylor(if playing) is their number 1 option though.

Broncos D vs NEFalcons D vs NO?kickers:Elam vs NEFeely vs DalShelton Quarles (LB) vs MiaDeAngelo Hall (CB) vs NO?what's the word on Julius Jones and Torry Holt? they gonna play?
10/15/2005 2:34:51 AM
That first question shouldn't even be a question for you.Did you not catch the highlights of the NO vs GB game last week? Did you not see Deuce is out for the season? How about the Pats vs ATL game?Pats O > NO OSo go with ATL D without a doubt.Elam will probably see more work since NE's defense can be stingy at times.Hard to choose between LB/CB, have to know the point system you play under.Last I heard Julius was in a boot all week and sitting this week. I didn't hear anything on Torry being hurt
10/15/2005 4:00:50 AM
Im in need of a running back that will get playing time, and both Antowain Smith and Aaron Stecker are available in my league. Which of these two is most likely to get the #1 spot once Stecker is back? Did Smiths 88 yards-2 TDs performance take that job from him today?
10/17/2005 1:27:07 AM
looks like smith is hotstecker will still get his carries, basically it's pretty much a toss-up but go with smith
10/17/2005 2:28:55 AM
Thomas Jones seems to be healthy again so Cedric Benson will get the boot
10/17/2005 10:52:06 AM
mewelde moore is free in basically every league i'm in. he still hasn't scored a touchdown yet in his career, but is he worth picking up and taking a flyer on? i'm weak at RB in a couple leagues.
10/17/2005 6:17:35 PM
^ if you get points for receptions, yesbtw, Drew Bennett is out for at least 2 weeks...
10/17/2005 9:48:21 PM
someone just released Bettis in my league. should i drop R. Droughns and pick up Bettis?
10/18/2005 11:23:54 AM
bttt
10/18/2005 2:21:08 PM
how long is bulger out?
10/18/2005 2:38:36 PM
Ferguson, Driver, and Hines Ward....which 2 should I play ? I know if all were healthy Ward would be one of them...but I have my doubts about his health....?
10/18/2005 2:52:18 PM
Driver and Ward if Ward is healthy[Edited on October 18, 2005 at 3:03 PM. Reason : someone just released Bettis in my league. should i drop R. Droughns and pick up Bettis?]
10/18/2005 3:03:05 PM
no, pick up patrick pass instead
10/18/2005 3:10:30 PM
why?[Edited on October 18, 2005 at 5:12 PM. Reason : Dillon may still play]
10/18/2005 5:11:35 PM
and Droughns is guaranteed 80yards a game
10/18/2005 5:13:54 PM
well, let me rephrase that, if you are in a league with a decent scoring system that gives points for receptions, get Pass, if you are in a gay ass one that doesnt, then dont.
10/18/2005 5:16:59 PM
10/18/2005 6:10:22 PM
well, the thing with the Pats, if someone contributes while in then they arent afraid to platoon them... e.g. Kevin Faulk.Obviously, Pass isnt a stud, but if you are in bad shape he wouldnt be bad. Seems like Bellichik is going to get him the ball
10/18/2005 8:21:47 PM
I've been getting burned by injuries and bye weeks at running back for the past couple of weeksmy rbs are usually Jamal Lewis, Fred Taylor, Deshaun Foster, Chris Perrylast week I took Taylor out and put Perry in, which paid off big timethis week Taylor has a bye, and I dropped Foster for Mewelde MooreI'm going to start Jamal Lewis, but who should I put next to him? Perry or Moore?

chester taylor or ricky williams for a w/r spot?there are really no better options. i tried to pick up mewelde moore but got beat out on the wirechester taylor has been rushing well in place of jamal lewis. ricky is up against KC.[Edited on October 19, 2005 at 12:10 PM. Reason : a]
10/19/2005 12:10:23 PM
i would go with Taylor until Ricky does something to prove that he isnt the homeless bum that he presents himself to be
10/19/2005 12:11:05 PM
well, Jake Plummer isnt available anymore.i guess i'll go with one of these?Steve McNairByron LeftwichJake DelhommeGus Frerotte
10/19/2005 12:49:07 PM

10/19/2005 4:07:54 PM

here's my team right nowstartersMcNabb, Donovan QB PHI Alexander, Shaun RB SEA Smith, Antowain RB NO Johnson, Chad WR CIN Jurevicius, Joe WR SEA Moulds, Eric WR BUF Lindell, Rian K BUF Falcons, DST DST ATL benchGreen, Trent QB KC McAllister, Deuce RB NO Parker, Willie RB PIT Stecker, Aaron RB NO Williams, Cadillac RB TB Smith, L.J. TE PHIstart 3 WR's. someone just cut laveranues coles. who should i cut to get him?jurevicius and coles both have week 8 byes. and it's a keeper league which is why i grabbed deuce, before anyone tries to flame me.
10/20/2005 1:09:53 AM
Someone in my league dropped Nate Burleson, even though hes now finally close to healthy. Should I pick him up? Right now I have Steve Smith, Anquan Boldin, Reggie Wayne, and Joe Jurevicius, so Im pretty much set at WR, and Im not sure how much impact he will have with the Vikings sucking ass. Im hoping no one will jump on him too quick as I have a defense to unload after this week anyhow. Also, who to start? Mewelde Moore vs GB or Antowain Smith @ STL?[Edited on October 20, 2005 at 6:21 AM. Reason : -]
10/20/2005 6:20:12 AM
sounds like stecker has an achilles tendon injury and is listed as questionable for that game. i'd start smith who has a nice matchup against st. louis.
10/20/2005 12:46:14 PM
Definitely pick up Burleson. He is a much better prospect than Jurevicious and Reggie Wayne over the course of the season. As the primary reciever in an offense that could explode in the coming weeks, he will pay off.Gonzo vs the PhinsorHeap vs tha Bears?alsoMike Anderson vs the GiantsorWillie Parker vs the Bengals?[Edited on October 20, 2005 at 11:02 PM. Heap - Wright will need to dump it off to him more often that notParker - Anderson is on the back-burner while Bell is hot.
10/21/2005 12:18:21 AM
i dunno, anderson may still get a TD. cowher is regretful for not giving bettis more carries than he did last sunday, so i'd look for bettis to get the bulk of the carries sunday, even though parker may still get the start.plus, bettis is the goaline back, so parker will have to have a 15+yard TD run if he's gonna score
10/21/2005 12:31:16 AM
I expect the Pitt/Cincy game to be a passing game, so both Bettis and Parker's touches will be a little less than usual either way.But you may be right about Anderson since he is turning into Bettis. But Bell is an explosive back and the last couple of games has been rolling off long yard TD runs and they've even left him in near the goalline a few times. It has appeared they are getting away from running by committee and are slowly turning Anderson into a goalline only type of guy.
10/21/2005 4:40:50 AM
^denver has been pretty committed to the committee though. sure, they're going to rely more heavily on bell, but they're still giving anderson his carries. he managed to get a TD in the last game.and i actually think pittsburgh will run the ball early and often against the bengals. cincinnati's run defense sucks, and the steelers' top 3 WR's are all listed as questionable. i just think they'll pound the ball with bettis more than they did last game since parker has been unproductive lately. however, it's possible that on one of parker's carries he will bust out a long run, maybe for a TD, but i think bettis will have the better day.
10/21/2005 8:29:47 AM
^I think they will run the ball as long as they can, but if Palmer and the Bengals O can get it going, I don't think they'll have that luxury.
10/21/2005 10:48:30 AM
yeah, unfortunately that may be truebut, even more reason to sit parker
10/21/2005 10:55:32 AM
Bettis has now become available in my league? Anyone think i should pick him up?my RB's areL. Tomlinson (SD)L. Jordan (Oak)S. Jackson (StL)T. Jones (Chi)A. Green (GB)R. Johnson (Cinc)obviously, i wouldnt trade T. Jones or L. Tomlinson because of the numbers they are both putting up each gamebut what about the rest?
10/21/2005 5:34:37 PM
I'd keep what I have already, but if Rudi Johnson starts to get phased out more and more by Perry, then consider it. I'm hoping he doesn't though because I have him on one of my teams and need him to keep producing, haha.
10/21/2005 5:50:16 PM
Bettis will have a big game against Cinci. He always does. But I wouldn't drop any of your current RB's for him.
10/21/2005 5:50:23 PM
yeah i think i will have to agree with you on that one
10/21/2005 6:29:56 PM
how many RB's can you start in that league? jeez man
10/21/2005 11:49:47 PM
Who should I start at tight end?Dallas Clark (at HOU) orJermaine Wiggins (vs GB)
