This guy is such a tool.Yes, the Cubs won the series. But they're still 12 games out. Oh yeah, and they're not even in 2nd place either. It was a great series, and the Cubs played well. There is no denying that. I'll give the Cubs props for sure, but you aquaca are a total dumbass for trying to talk shit when your team can barely stay above .500.
7/25/2005 4:38:14 AM
i know rightinstead of starting their own threadi love how the cubbie fans have to come crash ours like we care what they think
7/25/2005 10:22:04 AM

BTTT! Carpenter w/ his MLB leading 16th win over Willis last nite. I would say he has the Cy Young in hand if he keeps this up. Go Redbirds!!!
8/3/2005 3:07:33 PM

8/5/2005 10:10:05 PM
uhhhh....are my Cards going to take over the best record in baseball from my Sox?i guess I can't complain (as long as they face each other in the WS)
8/6/2005 3:19:18 AM
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA HAHAHAHAHAH AYEAHAOSKDFJ A;SDLJASD;LJKFJCarpenter's unbeaten streak continues[Edited on August 7, 2005 at 5:03 PM. Reason : .]
8/7/2005 4:57:36 PM
Hell yeah.
8/7/2005 5:01:35 PM
Although it would have been nice for Carp to get the win. He pitched really well again today.
8/7/2005 5:07:22 PM
yeah, kinda weird for Ray King (1/3 IP) to get the win, but that's the way it is. At least Carp's ERA didn't go up, and he added 10 Ks.edit: just did a quick calculation - his ERA actually went down by 0.0004 (2.2591 to 2.2587)[Edited on August 7, 2005 at 5:22 PM. Reason : .]

ESPN had a little program called "Best Shortstops of all Time" yesterday.Of course, guess who was #1?My parents claim that in 1982, they took me around Schnuck's Supermarket after a Cardinals game and I kept chanting "Ozzie...Ozzie...Ozzie"[Edited on August 7, 2005 at 6:36 PM. Reason : .]
8/7/2005 6:36:35 PM
Eckstein is becoming our Jeter...Mr. Clutch...how awesome was that last nite to beat the 2nd best NL team.
8/8/2005 4:47:36 PM
Does anyone know the status of our injuries? It seems like Rolen and Walker live on the DL. It shocked me to find out Walker was our highest payed player. Is he gonna contribute at all this year, or just be a big payroll burden? And when is Molina coming back? And Reggie Sanders? I am so tired of playing with scrubs on our team.
8/8/2005 7:30:01 PM
I think the order will be Molina, Sanders, Walker, Rolen (there's some talk that Rolen might be done for the season). Not that I like the Cardinals playing with second stringers, but a lot of these guys have come up big for us. John Rodriguez, Abraham Nunez, So Taguchi have all stepped up like starters when they've been called. Although I will be extremely happy when Mike Mahoney goes back to the bench and Molina is back behind the plate.

8/14/2005 12:14:18 AM
That double play on the bunt was nastybut why are we losing 3-0?
8/18/2005 9:24:29 PM
Wouldn't it be something if Jason Marquis ended up hitting .400 for the season. He's at .380 right now and hast hits in his last 6 at bats. Marquis for MVP
