I thought it was "The Prince that was promised" by the Lord of Light and not THE Lord of Light.
8/8/2017 9:44:21 AM
^This. Sorry, sometimes they blend together for me. Lord of Light, Prince That Was Promised, whatever.
8/8/2017 9:47:40 AM
^Okay now I can see the argumentI liked the entire dragon scene but I thought the best scene was the up close scene with Bronn after getting knocked off his horse[Edited on August 8, 2017 at 9:54 AM. Reason : .]

"Chaos is a ladder"All I want is Bran to SAY MORE THINGS!GIVE THESE PEOPLE INFORMATION YOU FRACTURED FUCK!
8/8/2017 9:57:01 AM
^ I think the reason he is not saying more things is he already knows what happens in the future too so he only needs to tell them what he already knows he is going to tell them. Or something like that
8/8/2017 9:59:48 AM
He also might be strategic with what he's saying. For one...most people aren't going to believe the shit he says. Two...if he did vomit everything out and people ran with it...who knows what the fuck would happen.Gotta have some strategery. And he could also have a clusterfuck of shit going on in his head and is trying to sort it all out.

i just wish he'd hurry up and turn into a tree
8/8/2017 11:20:12 AM
I think he sees multitudes of futures, and being half trained he probably doesn't want to directly influence too many events yet until he comes more into his powers. That being said, I don't like this 'Bran is dead' shtick...a little too emo for my tastes.
8/8/2017 11:24:26 AM
totally thought Bronn was going to die during that sequence and in some ways I wish he would have so we actually lost someone more tangible that episode. He's been one of my favorite book-to-screen minor characters for sure, but I think that would have been a fitting ending for him seeing as he continuously rolls the dice for $.
8/8/2017 11:48:04 AM
^I kinda feel the same. It would have been cool to see him battle to the death with a Dothraki.
8/8/2017 12:06:48 PM
^^^Bran has totally turned into Richmond from The IT Crowd
8/8/2017 12:08:24 PM
^^ i could have taken that. i think i really would have liked to see Drogon kill someone more familiar to the viewer to add even more weight and Bronn would have worked
8/8/2017 7:47:19 PM
SPOILERSthis is probably the best comment I've seen on Reddit about the episode

if they kill any dragons with those dumb ass scorpion bolts ill be pissed
8/9/2017 2:19:24 PM
^^^ oh snap! love it
8/9/2017 2:41:06 PM
^^I agree with you on that one. Given how long it takes to reload, you gotta be a damn good shot. Bronn got extremely lucky, and I wouldn't expect your standard Lannister soldier to be as good. Even AA canons in WW2 had a hard time shooting down aircraft, and they were automatic.I forgot to mention this before actually, how come the wagon with the giant crossbow in it was the only one that wasn't torched when the dragon started lighting things up?
8/9/2017 3:11:00 PM
yeah those things are not very practical for the intended task. especially in the open field like that. back at the keep, living a bunch of them up? ok maybe.im fine with it as a plot device to add some sense of 'vulnerability' to Drogon for some viewers last week. But that should really be it.[Edited on August 9, 2017 at 4:11 PM. Reason : ]

I mean...if they can build about 20 of them and have them all shoot at the same time...it wouldn't be that difficult to hit a dragon. Problem would be getting off a few shots before you're turned to ashes.
8/9/2017 4:41:15 PM
Personally, I think they'll probably pick off at least one.
8/9/2017 4:54:05 PM
Just for the record, the only dragon to have been killed by a giant crossbow in Martin's lore was shot right through the eye. Full grown dragon scales are basically invulnerable to any sort of man made weapon.

jamie lannister is the prince that was promised
8/11/2017 11:09:32 PM
Maybe he kills cersei with the valerian steel sword and something special happens. Legend tells that azhora hai sword was made by killing the woman the maker loved. And because Martin can do a lot if things with genes, any legends or knowing exactly who is who's parent can be weird. Especially with twins. Especially with Tyrions specific genetic condition. (two different colored eyes in book) [Edited on August 12, 2017 at 12:48 PM. Reason : Fndnf]

apparently azor ahai is a mistranslation of gold hand or something
8/12/2017 1:59:58 PM
Jon Snow no longer....
8/13/2017 10:08:00 PM
Good guys are about to take a major L next week north of the wall. What's Littlefinger up to?
8/13/2017 10:14:20 PM
He's giving Arya fake news
8/13/2017 10:40:28 PM
1:15 hr episode next week. shit gonna be wild(lings)
8/13/2017 11:15:24 PM
Arya needs to chill out. Her need to be the smartest, sneakiest badass in the room is gonna get someone killed.
8/13/2017 11:45:00 PM
Ok, time for conspiracy theory. Reasonable theory on what happens next episode. Everyone dies except jon. Crazy theory. He is literally turned into the night king, and the night king on the poster is Jon by the end of the season.
8/14/2017 3:21:01 AM
Need to throw Tyrion off the cliff. Dumb ass really thinks if they toss a zombie in front of Cersei that she's going to give a shit. He's all Team Lannister right now...roast him like a marshmallow!
8/14/2017 6:55:23 AM
I would venture to guess that at least 9 out of the 12 of them die.

Anyone else think that Cercei was lying to Jamie about being pregnant?
8/14/2017 10:52:21 AM
^I do. She just needed something to make sure he stays with her.Now that Jon Targaryen has better claim to the throne than Dany it will be interesting to see how she reacts if she ever finds out. It also makes her a little more expendable as a main character.
8/14/2017 11:03:08 AM
8/14/2017 11:08:49 AM
I think Cersei's pregnant...but I bet she has a miscarriage. She'll get Jamie to do some bad shit and then bleed out.I don't think Jon gives a fuck about being king...even if he finds out he's a Targaryen. At the same time...I wouldn't be surprise to se Dany die at some point and that shit falls in his lap. And he might turn it down again..who knows. We'll probably see Gendry and Sansa sitting pretty in Kings Landing at the end of this shit.
8/14/2017 11:27:12 AM
I always thought that it made no sense for the Kingsguard to be hanging around a dead prince's side piece and his unborn illegitimate bastard when there were living Targaryen heirs still at Dragonstone. For that reason alone it always seemed obvious that Rhaegar had married Lyanna before dying. Nice to have confirmation though.
8/14/2017 11:31:18 AM
guys, that fucking hammer though, damn.
8/14/2017 11:34:57 AM
They were ordered to guard her and her child.
8/14/2017 11:55:04 AM
Maybe Gendry found some valyrian steel and coated that hammer so he can blast some fucking white walkers. Would be pretty awesome.
8/14/2017 11:56:15 AM
I don't think that's how that worksAlthough it doesn't make sense that he is going north of the wall instead of learning to forge valyrian or dragonglass weapons... [Edited on August 14, 2017 at 12:52 PM. Reason : Ee]
