Why would they target the baggage train? Dany's army needed those supplies.Just take out the army.
8/6/2017 10:02:39 PM
That episode was nuts.
8/6/2017 10:04:32 PM
I liked it. I've been dying to see Drogon fry some bitches
8/6/2017 10:05:30 PM
About damn time we saw some dragon combat.
8/6/2017 10:06:26 PM
It was wild how the soldiers were just ashes afterwards. That was intense.
8/6/2017 10:08:26 PM
Mother fuckin dragons!
8/6/2017 10:10:40 PM
fucking awesomemaisie williams has been up and down for me (which makes sense since she is just a kid) but she was awesome tonight, especially in the crypttalk the throne pointed out that "swallow your pride, bend the knee" was a role reversal for snow/mance[Edited on August 6, 2017 at 10:20 PM. Reason : oh those white walker cave paintings looked goofy as hell lol]
8/6/2017 10:19:48 PM
what did 3-eyed bran say to littlefinger?[Edited on August 6, 2017 at 10:32 PM. Reason : looked it up: "chaos is a ladder"]
8/6/2017 10:29:52 PM
"Chaos is a ladder"Throwback to a comment Littlefinger has said in the past.
8/6/2017 10:31:46 PM
ah. i couldn't stop hearing "chaos in atlanta"
8/6/2017 10:32:51 PM
I've partially given up in life and I have to use CC at least once an episode. But then I start reading and stop watching... it fucks wth my head.
8/7/2017 12:24:49 AM
Are the dragons can only be tame/control by daenerys? If so would this be a weakness for her?
8/7/2017 8:15:48 AM
is jaimie dead?
8/7/2017 9:50:40 AM
^^I don't know how much this leans towards book talk, but Targaryens have historically been good with dragons. If there was another targaryen out there somewhere..... Also, just fyi, the dragons seemed to be cool with Tyrion, although maybe they somehow knew he was freeing them.^Did you see him die? [Edited on August 7, 2017 at 9:52 AM. Reason : Who knows ]
8/7/2017 9:51:44 AM
I doubt it. I think he ends up as a prisoner somehow.
8/7/2017 9:51:55 AM
Maybe Dany will have Drogon pull him out to take him prisonerCan't remember if this has been brought up. Could Bran warg into one of the dragons?
8/7/2017 10:23:16 AM
did it bother anyone else how deep the water that Jaime fell into was? He was running a horse through a small stream, got tackled about 5 feet away from that area, and all of a sudden was in 30-40' deep water.
8/7/2017 11:00:22 AM
I've been hearing rumblings that it might have been Tyrion that saved his brother in that scene. If you slow down the frame in that scene, one body flying through air is much smaller than the other. Maybe this is the moment that causes Jamie to switch sides, and ultimately kill his sister as foretold by the fortune teller in Cercies past.[Edited on August 7, 2017 at 11:03 AM. Reason : .]
8/7/2017 11:03:07 AM
he wasn't anywhere close
8/7/2017 11:08:58 AM
8/7/2017 11:14:03 AM
It was not Tyrion.I hope Jamie is a Prisoner. I doubt he will make it back to Cersei. He will lose his armor to swim, a visual change hinting at a hopefully switching of sides. He could end up on his own if he doesn't get captured. Or its him and Bron again.
8/7/2017 11:14:51 AM
I assumed it was Bronn, but possibly it was Dickon? I haven't rewatched yet.
8/7/2017 11:17:48 AM
It was definitely Bronn, jesus. He was the only one close enough as Dany landed right next to the scorpion which Bronn jumped off right before Drogon destroyed it. He was literally right there.[Edited on August 7, 2017 at 11:23 AM. Reason : .]
8/7/2017 11:21:51 AM
No way it was Tyrion. Tyrion was like a hundred yards away from him. Even if Tyrion was on a horse he couldn't have caught up with him. Even if he had caught him, I doubt Tyrion has the body mass necessary to throw Jaime that far. Most likely Bronn, but Dickon is plausible. Another issue though, Jaime is covered in heavy armor and can't swim with it (as he was obviously sinking quickly). Not gonna be that easy to get that armor off with one hand.
8/7/2017 11:39:34 AM
Jaime is dead, but if he's so goddamn important, the Lord of Light will bring him back.
8/7/2017 12:37:54 PM
Jamie aint dead...Bron saved him. It's easy to figure that out. The question now is whether or not Jamie is taken as prisoner.
8/7/2017 12:53:13 PM
8/7/2017 12:58:32 PM
I mean there is another short season next year so I doubt all loose ends will be tied up.
8/7/2017 12:58:41 PM
Jaime is dead. He's drowning with all that armor.
8/7/2017 1:01:55 PM
8/7/2017 1:16:07 PM
^They show a lot in the episode previews, you can deduce what is going to happen.
8/7/2017 1:25:35 PM
No way Jamie is dead.
8/7/2017 1:32:42 PM
Seems like if anything, it has been hinted at that Jamie/Cersei are Targaryens with the blonde hair and Cercei turning into the mad king[Edited on August 7, 2017 at 1:34 PM. Reason : Although Jon Snow doesn't have blonde hair at all.]
8/7/2017 1:33:30 PM
Gendry also has Targaryen Blood
8/7/2017 1:40:16 PM
^ who is still rowing in circles lost at sea[Edited on August 7, 2017 at 1:46 PM. Reason : .]
8/7/2017 1:46:12 PM
Targaryens have white hair. And Jamie and Cersei look like their dad.
8/7/2017 1:50:13 PM
Melisandre used the power of Gendry's blood to make a gris-gris that forces him to bear the weight of all the fucking travel time the other ships on this shoe aren't subject to.
8/7/2017 1:52:33 PM
Blown up, this isn't a great example but his hair is as blonde as Jamie's, they are both pretty dirty. Cersei and the kids had golden hair Jaimie and Tyrion had dirty blonde Blonde hair, one eye color [Edited on August 7, 2017 at 2:33 PM. Reason : Remind me how to thumbnail an image in the next 30 minutes ][Edited on August 7, 2017 at 2:41 PM. Reason : Dirty]
8/7/2017 2:32:36 PM
Here I can do it for you with code:
8/7/2017 2:44:24 PM
Tyrion being a Targaryen is largely a book thing. The show only hints at it with his obsession with dragons at a young age, and when he released the collars off the dragons. She should have been toast. The books describe his hair as being a paler blonde than other Lanisters.I don't know if the show even wants to get into it, but Gendry could show up with the Golden company now that its been mentioned. A good way to tie that lose end up.But without Bran, how can anyone know they have Targaryen blood without some over the top Dragon interaction. It makes it very difficult for the show to deal with when there isn't a mechanism for characters to know these things for sure.
8/7/2017 3:20:34 PM
Bran is a pretty ultimate dues ex machina
8/7/2017 3:41:45 PM
Yeah the books have some cursory evidence that Aerys was raping Tywin's wife and that some/all his children are actual Aerys' bastards. All the Lannister children have shown some fascination with fire/dragons or displayed peculiar Targaryen-esque traits at some point. IMO it's all a bunch of red herrings, maybe to throw us off the R+L=J scent or just GRRM fucking with readers.
8/7/2017 3:46:55 PM
8/7/2017 4:33:47 PM
Jamie comes out of his Cersei lust whenever hes around good people. Like Brienne. So lets say he gets taken prisoner and is around Danny, John or something. In all seriousness he should be more pissed at her than he is.
8/7/2017 6:03:58 PM
8/8/2017 7:14:31 AM
While the dragon action was awesome, I think my favorite part of the episode might have been Bronn laughing at the name "Dickon"
8/8/2017 7:27:47 AM
^Bronn's response to most things usually bring the lols. The actor who plays him is really good at delivery.
8/8/2017 8:47:27 AM
8/8/2017 9:22:55 AM
^Just speculation. Everyone thought it was Stannis up until he fucked up. Of the people left, the only major "good guys" left are him and Jon. I guess if Jaime has a complete 180 degree turn he could end up as the Lord of Light since he's been working the redemption angle for a while but it doesn't seem likely.
