Sorry didnt mean to say when Snow dies, meant to say when the Hound dies in the battle of the dozen.

Snow gets wounded pretty bad, but doesn't die. Lone survivor/wolf

I read the whole reason for this scene was because Maisie Williams is a huge Ed Sheeren fan and they wanted to surprise her with this cameo, otherwise I doubt this scene would have even taken place.

I thought it was more that the scene was already planned and they were able to get Ed Sheeran for it.

(The hand that pushed Bran is the same hand that Jaimie lost later on when he was captured). So Bran chops off his arm, and then takes Jaimies hand in the past to replace his? (It won't change the future since Jaimie loses the hand anyway??)"

With Bran getting through the wall its now or never to tell whether this keen commentary by HOOPS SHALOM is going to become canon.

I for one hope so. Its the only plausible way to continue Bran's story.

^After Jaimie's hand was cut off though, they dude that cut it off strung it around his neck to rot/taunt him. So Bran couldn't have taken it.

This is disregarding the fact that they have never shown anyone be able to take someone else's body part and use it as their own, but since this world is full of zombies/dragons/fairies/etc. it isn't outside the realm of possibility for Bran's magic.

So now Ayra can change face (idk the correct term) is there a limit to her power? If she can do this without any repercussion then that's it?

^ well thats the point. She can endlessly kill one after another and assumed their identity. So she can sneak into Kings Landing. Kill a guard, assumed him, kill the next one up and so on until the queen without having any limitation. So her power is almost invincible.

She's breaking the rules of the Faceless Men and their god so I assume there will be some form of punishment for her recklessness that will probably require her life. My guess is right before she gets a chance to kill Cersei.

Isn't Tyrion one of dragonblood though?

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that Tywin wasn't his father, instead it was the mad king.

I agree.

It's going to be Jamie that kills Cercei. That's the twist to the casual viewer. Tyrion is too obvious and I think at the time GRRM wrote this he didn't realize how much it would take off and be picked apart detail by detail. The volonquar is the little brother, but Jamie was born after her so he's the younger twin.

I also think his quote about coming and leaving the world together is foreshadowing it. I think it will be a suicide/sorocide thing and I think the most likely way to do that would be wildfire. It would also circle back to Jamie preventing the Mad King from burning everyone alive with it and basically end his redemption arc the way his bad reputation started, but in a bittersweet way insofar as he prevents his beloved sister/wife from hurting innocents in the same way. They've also been foreshadowing his growing distance from her, seeing her for what she is, etc. for quite some time.

Plus how Ned didn't even tell Catelyn. So this brings up a huge point, if he didn't even tell his wife, who besides Bran knows who Jon Snow really is. Not sure Howland Reed will be brought back.

I can't blame Theon for being a broken shell of a human being. It's Yara's fault for believing in him.

Had to google it.

Season one, Ned tells or asks Arya if she will wear a dress, become a lady, etc. Arya responds, "No, that's not me."

Parallel to Nymeria. When Arya says, no thats not you, shes saying that the dire wolf is no longer her companion and has her own life with her pack. That time has come and gone. Nymeria and or both of them have moved on from that life.

My prediction, that wolf isn't gone yet. We will see an infinity war level orgy of GoT characters all coming in at the last minute.

The food transitions are hilarious, I hope they keep it as a gag all season.

I agree and it's hard to put my finger on what it is. The writing just isn't as tight and the cinematography hasn't been on point yet, either. I think going off-book completely and having very little input from GRRM this season (he didn't write any episodes, etc. said he had to finish the book) have just made it a bit weaker. I'm hoping they just back-loaded the budget, best directors, and focus to the later episodes that will be super intense and expensive.

^^^I don't think that's the last we'll see of Nymeria either.

For one...the Sand Snakes were involved with heavy dialogue...so that's automatically going to bring down any episode. They are easily the worst characters in the entire series (in the show...not the book, where they are awesome). Now that they are out of the way, they can't bring down any episodes.

I thought the rest of the episode was solid. Great scene with all of the powerful women at Dragonstone. Good scene with Jon and the lords of the North...although that's wearing thin. I'm guessing it will be the last of the those types...it seems they've had one in the last three episodes. Great scene with Arya and Nymeria (what's up Hot Pie!!).

I thought the ship battle scene was solid as well. Euron is a beast...because the Sand Snakes got some solid licks in. In regards to Theon...what the fuck was he going to do anyways? I mean...he was kicking some ass on the ship, but Euron had a fucking axe to Yara's throat. No way he was going to get her out of that...better that he just let Euron take her and hope that he can rescue her later. Obviously he didn't have to look like such a bitch...but he is lacking a cockandballs.

I'm satisfied. The seasons almost always progressively get better, so I think we're good.

omg yes. Their accents are way over the top.

Also, agreed on Theon. Nothing he could do. If he had tried to save her, Euron would have killed her. If he tried to fight, he would have gotten killed or captured and taken to King's Landing. It may seem like the cowardly thing to do, but at least he can live to fight another day now. He may get some redemption in the future by saving her/killing some Lannister lackeys.

One thing that comes to mind though, is that yes, Cersei will now have Ellaria as a hostage. If she kills her, she makes her a martyr and Dorne will be even more pissed. Especially after Euron killed the sand snakes and Oberyn died in King's Landing a few seasons ago. So what can Cersei really do with her?

Who's left in Dorne anyways? All major characters that have been introduced will be dead. I doubt they make an effort to bring a new big character in. I feel like they're just trying to get the Martells and Tyrells out of the storyline so they can narrow the focus and concentrate on the bigger players. Going to be hard to close out the series when there 7 kingdoms you have to tie up along with the Eastern peeps.

I feel like the dialog has taken a hit since the show has moved past the source material. GRRM had a great way of writing the dialog between characters and the show was able to transfer that to the screen. Now it just seems like generic cheesy primetime soap writing and dialog.

i agree. It's hard to compare though. GRRM's dialogue is only second to Dumas for me in terms of what I've enjoyed reading and getting engrossed in. Hard to follow that up.

It would be easy for him to get the medicine and anti-venom so to speak, this ain't his first rodeo.

Get the feeling Reek comes back later to play a bigger role.

As for those boobs, dat ass was good too.

And the dialogue does suck, I noticed that when the first scene popped up and they were taking around the table. It was forced dialogue.

Episode 2 was clearly better than 1 though, the battle scene really helped. And what a bad ass entrance for Euron.

Good point about Euron, I guess we'll see. The poison takes time doesn't it. +1 on him being a badass though. Throwing his elderly brother from a bridge was a cowardly move but he proved himself in this battle.

So did Euron know where they were going to be or did he just happen to cross their paths. Dragonstone and KL are close so I could see the latter but it looked planned. If he knew then does that mean someone is leaking their plans?

Also, fire is supposed to kill the white walkers but in the hold the door episode they walk right through the wall of fire. The flames kind of open up where they walk through so they don't actually touch them but does that mean they could do the same with dragon fire?

I dont think so, dragon fire burns differently

I think in the preview for next week someone says "they knew we were coming" which seemed to be in reference to the battle in Casterly Rock. Seems too obvious that Varys would be the one leaking the info, I bet its someone you wouldnt expect (Tyrion, Olenna)

Fire kills the wights (zombies) which forms the overwhelming bulk of their forces. Dragonglass or Valyrian Steel is needed to kill Walkers.

Euron probably didn't know who specifically was coming through but he was poised to ambush whoever it was. They knew Danny's forces were at dragonstone.

I 1000% agree with this. I was wondering if I was the only one. The dialogue feels more simplistic, and some of the jokes said with a smirk kinda break the fourth wall, takes me out of the show.

Still love me some GOT though.
