I don't suppose that there is a way for me to watch tonight's episode over the internet is there? I'm stuck at work and while I am DVR'ing it I would still prefer to watch live if I could.

How were they powering the hospital? It showed car batteries hooked up to some of the hospital equipment but all the lights were on and stuff. Where were they getting all of their food? They said they were going on food runs but that doesn't seem like enough to feed all the people there. What about water?

I think Carol got caught on purpose. I hope she goes apeshit on those cops when Beth tells her what's been going on there.

It looked like the excessive bike that Dawn (slap-happy cop lady in control) was riding was hooked up to the wires.

The scene where the doctor takes Beth down to the first floor isn't very realistic. A zombie just jumps at the glass out of nowhere? Really? I mean I know the purpose is to have a jump-scare for the audience, but they're at the end of some hallway and they she doesn't see the zombie before it slams up against the window?

so whats the timeline here - I'm assuming this is the Carol from after she saves everyone at Terminus and disappears with Darryl (as opposed to before she links up with Tyreese) but that would seem like a lot of time elapsed after Beth got picked up by the car and when Carol arrives..

stick with your assumption. It hasn't been that long a period in their time.

^We don't really know how long Beth was out before she woke up in the hospital either, plus it was hard to tell exactly how long Beth stayed "working" at the hospital before she tried to escape because it was all indoors.

They showed the officers coming back from a run, guessing that was the car that they were following.

Figured this would be the pacing they would follow(whole episode about where Beth has been, then another episode about Daryl/Carol going after her). Though next week looks to be more about following The Fellowship of Eugene and looks like some back-story on Abraham(finally).

btw, what was the deal with Joan? So did she try to escape and ended up getting bit? Was Gormon forcing himself upon her all the time? Who killed her in Dawn's office?

And if the exercise bike was generating the power for the lights they would need like a room of people pedaling 24/7 to power that hospital. The amount of energy they would need in food/water wouldn't be worth it just for hospital lights.

V Cool, thanks for clearing that up.

Gorman was raping Joan. Joan tried to escape and was bitten. They cut her arm off. She killed herself in Dawn's office. She had spelled something out on the floor in what looked like crushed up meds. Fuck Off, or something similar.

My take? They find Noah after following one of the cars to the hospital, he tells them what is going on, and Daryl brings him back to the church - that was him behind in the woods when Daryl was like "ok, come out." Carol got caught to be a mole on the inside for when the group leads an assault on the hospital.

^Definitely the most likely scenario given how things have been presented.

Just love that they talk about not breaking the group up anymore and then they split into 3 groups, so wonder if we're about to have something like last year where we only focus on 1 group each episode.

probably.

next episode will be DC group, followed by Daryl/Carol, followed by Rick - rescue mission planning, then Beth/Carol, then assault on Hospital (mid season finale)

Something is bugging me though - they've been in operation over a year now, and we've only seen 3 "patients?"

^There were a lot of doors on that hall with little pieces of paper on the front, who knows how many they actually have. Seems like the doors were able to be locked from the outside(that or Beth isn't smart enough to open the door when she first woke up).

They also focused mainly on women and children, abandoning those that could pose a physical threat. Plus this entire crew seems to be more about "surviving until help comes" than they are figuring out a long-term plan.

Really it's just the lady trying to keep the other guards happy by letting them have their way with the female "patients" they have. And the guys just seem to make supply runs and pick up people if they come across them. We saw multiple male guards, no way they don't have several different girls they each are taking advantage of, the episode just focused on the one girl that was being directly assaulted by the same guard that was after Beth.

I was confused by a few points... I started typing them out, until I realized this whole episode was retarded, and feels more awkwardly forced than Beth's sour apple lollipop.

Oh I didn't like the episode and really don't like this whole "Where is Beth?" storyline they're rolling out. Feels like a useless sidestory just to slow down the season after they wrapped up the Hunter(Termites) storyline so quickly.

you mean the wilderness right outside Atlanta. If this was Charlotte they would be in the woods of Huntersville or Mint Hill.

It's been hard for me to really figure out where they are geographically. Obviously early on they spent plenty of time in and around Atlanta. Since they've been wandering around for so long, it seems like they would be much further from Atlanta by now. But obviously the people in that Atlanta hospital aren't traveling 100 miles for supplies and stuff. So maybe they've managed to be within 20 or so miles. Just kinda throwing that number out there.

Terminus looked to be around Macon/Warner Robbins on the map, which is about 80 miles from Grady hospital in downtown Atlanta. So I'd agree that it does seem to be a bit far for them to have a) wandered north since Terminus, or b) the cops from the hospital to go on supply runs. but I guess not so far as to be exceedingly implausible.

also, as far as where stuff was actually filmed, here's a pretty good list:
http://atlanta.curbed.com/archives/2014/10/07/walking-dead.php

also, after reading that link again, just realized that Rick's and Morgan's houses are about a half mile from my house. oh shit.

I thought it was interesting that all of the exits they showed from the hospital were blocked or overrun, yet the cops seemed to be able to get in and out without much issue when they make their runs.

^Not just when making their runs but also they got out there almost immediately when Beth and Noah were escaping. Only thing I can think of is some kind of secret entrance that Noah didn't know about.

yeah here's the Terminus map

Looks like it's in Bibb County Ga. Which, as mentioned, would be around Macon.

Somebody refresh my memory. I know they talked all about going to DC and stuff, so would it be safe to assume they started heading north from Terminus?

I'm sure they have a secure way in and out. But it's probably also guarded at all times. So it wouldn't be a practical exit route for anyone trying to escape from there unless they want to take on the guards.

As someone who has complained about this show after season 1 I can say this season has been absolutely awesome so far. It is like they took everything that I complained about and did the opposite. No more staying in one location the entire time, no more dragging out conflict with no action, not as much Corrral.

I agree with whoever said they think they'll show Daryl and Carol getting to Beth's spot, reporting back to the group, then busting up in there.

Also, I would not be surprised if Abraham shoots himself after all this. He's a bad motherfucker but man, doesn't seem like he has much to live for now.

ok it's time to talk about it. how are they going to end this shit? they are recycled the same plot line every time over and over again. they cant keep this up. this isnt a comic book. kill some main characters already. kill glenn off already. kill carl. bring on negan(sp?)

That's why we watched the show. this is no cure. there is no hope. things get worse and worse. That's why it's called an Apocalypse. We all know it. lets get a move on.

I already knew about Eugene's lie. I'm actually surprised they didnt keep that storyline until the end of this season. dragging it along.

the only thing they are doing new is the Carol and Daryl storyline, which I actually like. but we know how that's going to end too
