i'll probably try and get tix to one of the dc shows the week of. wasn't quick enough when they went on sale the other day

also, i don't think i've ever seen a show at 9:30 club sell out and then have them add another show the same day that also sells out shortly after.

^^ the mid-west swing had no days off, so seeing the day off between DC/NYC and NYC/Philly suggested to me that they'd add shows if necessary.

sure enough, DC and NYC shows added almost immediately after the first shows sold out, which led to me getting tix for the second DC and NYC shows with no problems

if anyone wants a ticket for pittsburgh, i'd probably give that one up without much of a fight due to travel complications

second shows get added so often in DC that i'm pretty sure bands must intentionally leave additional room in their schedule for it. off the top of my head i know st vincent, andrew bird, spoon and the new pornographers have all added additional shows after the first one sold out (2 additional shows for spoon) this year, and those are just bands i've seen/am going to see. i'm sure it's happened with plenty of others

yep same here. I knew they would end up doing back to back nights. Friday will be fun but the Saturday bill is going to be insane. we have a big group going, at least 8-10 of us I think.

Stubhub right now is $119 for Tuesday and $179 for Wednesday.

I got tickets for one night via presale but the other via Stubhub, and even within minutes of the actual sale selling out they were already at $55.
