I picked this up last week for a rifle that the seller backed out of. I dont need it, its back up for sale. 4-12x40 BDC scope. Great shape, includes bikini caps but no box or papers. Some very very slight ring marks, but nothing that you should really see. New on SWFA its $219, I'm asking $150. FTF in Wake Forest, NC[Edited on January 30, 2013 at 5:39 PM. Reason : .]

1/30/2013 7:38:03 PM

Reloading stuff is in high demand just like ammo

The hilarious misconception about the current rush on everything concerns those who are buying stuff.I dont see many of the seasoned stockpilers out and about... I see a bunch of first timers, polo shirts, and visors.Im fine with coming up with a way to keep weapons out of their hands. Anyone hear the inane shit they talk about at the counter? Not to mention pointing their shit in your face every 12 seconds. It isnt gun nuts that are scared and being weird... Its people who have never previously owned a gun that are simply scared. At least thats my opinion. It might just be a Charlotte area thing.
2/1/2013 7:53:29 PM
^ I know what you mean, I was checking out a painting job the other day and the homeowner and I got to talking about guns. He proceded to show me his entire gun safe containing tons of brand new weapons. As he was showing me all of the safeties on his 1911 (which was unloaded, thank god) he shoved the barrel into my chest and told me that it couldnt fire with slide pushed back. It didnt really dawn on me how f'd up that was untill I left. I did get the job though....

WTF
2/1/2013 9:57:10 PM
I believe I'm going to be in the market for a .380 in the next couple of weeks
2/2/2013 1:24:28 PM
Rossi matched pair .243/ 20 gauge. Black, takes down and fits into a rossi bag. Shot less than a box of .243 and 20 gauge.$250 obo.
2/3/2013 10:11:09 PM
^^^^ I would have fucking flipped.
2/4/2013 12:14:06 AM
^ Ditto. I have zero tolerance for that kind of bullshit.
2/4/2013 11:43:41 AM
yeah that shit ain't cool man, its downright fucking retarded. Its jackasses like that who shoot at "moving bushes" on game lands and have NDs.
2/4/2013 12:40:56 PM
If nothing else it would have been a good time to firmly educate him on the "if you never point a gun at anyone and you can never accidentally shoot anyone" rule. I understand you probably didn't want to offend a potential client, but that kind of stuff is just uncalled for.
2/4/2013 3:38:59 PM
What in seeing is stock market douches trying to make a buck on guns.

Helping my dad sell a few of his guns. They're posted on CSC as well, but I figured I'll try here too. FTF in Raleigh, not looking for trades.First is a S&W 4566TSW 45 Tactical. .45 ACP, comes with box and 3 mags. No evidence of being carried or shot much. $650Next is a S&W 629-1 .44 mag. 8" barrel, pre-lock, hogue grips, extremely clean. $650Last is a S&W 27-2 .357 mag from the 1960s. 8" barrel, pre-lock of course, target sights/trigger/grip, recessed cylinder. The finish is a deeper bluing that is no longer used anymore (due to environmental concerns), or so I'm told. $950All of these guns are in amazing condition, especially that 27-2.
2/6/2013 6:49:01 PM
^^Neuse,Any interest in selling that lower parts kits and stock/buffer tube assembly?
2/7/2013 9:21:47 PM
i'm gonna put it on a few sites and see if i can get a BCG first
2/7/2013 9:38:15 PM
i just got semi-turgid for that 629if I hadn't just bought a p226...
2/8/2013 1:09:10 AM
I shot one of those 629's my last time out shooting, and it was amazing... If I had the disposable income right now, I'd buy one (well I do, but given my current living situation, I'd rather keep that cash liquid instead of blowing it on a new "fun-gun"). If I can square my roommate situation away soon though, and that thing is still available, I'll totally buy it.
2/8/2013 8:37:48 AM
well you'd better hurry because I'm notoriously good at making bad decisions

I have a Sig GSR in .45. Stainless with wood grips. Very very slick and tight gun, feels like a TRP when you rack the slide. Trigger is excellent, and fit and finish is awesome. Less than 300rnds down the pipe, looks new. As you can see, its in near perfect shape. Comes with case, original papers, 2 mags (stainless mags) and I can include a holster for the right price/trade.I'm asking $850 obo for the gun FTF in Wake Forest. I will accept trades, but it must be of lesser value. Any trade I would need $400-$500 in difference. I'd be looking for a 9, 40 or 45 pistol to replace this with. That being said, I'd rather have cash
2/8/2013 5:41:21 PM
Anybody got a 10/22 for sale? I have a Bear element bow for sale, comes with all the goodies. Also have a Rossi .243/20 gauge combo that I would let go of.
2/8/2013 8:22:51 PM
^^ WHAHHHAHaving shot 8 rounds out of this pistol myself, I can attest to his accurate description. It's a damn solid firearm. Worth every penny of the asking price.[Edited on February 9, 2013 at 10:25 AM. Reason : .]

Aside from stupidly obvious price gouging (like $1/rd 5.56), I normally believe it to be bad taste to publicly question the price of for sale items in a public forum. But wtf?Am i missing something? Are 10/22s caught up in this stupid buying craze too?
2/11/2013 9:24:45 PM
yes, anything semi-auto is overpriced now
2/11/2013 9:30:08 PM
Wow. I'm glad I bought all the guns I wanted a while ago (and that i have a wife who bought some as gifts). I actually need to dump a few. Bout to post a SRH...
2/11/2013 9:38:42 PM
Since you questioned Fumbler, and to not leave you hanging wondering.... I paid 260 for it new plus tax. I figured whatever price I asked would be counter-offered and dont need to sell it, so will not sell it for less than what I paid for it hence the 300 OBO. I am seeing them used for 260 now in the same model. Aiight?
2/11/2013 9:59:15 PM
I am looking for a used S&W model 60 .357 mag with a 3" barrel.
2/11/2013 10:34:01 PM
^^gotcha.I guess part of it is the old man in me. When I was heavily into 10/22s they were only about $140 and I didn't think it was that long ago
2/11/2013 10:46:00 PM
Youre all good!! I was messin with you on the aiight part, couldnt think of anything that didnt sound like a prick but was still funny/sarcastic. Re-read my post...Tired and it did come off kinda pricky, sorry!! Was trying to be dry funny but oh well!I too remember them when they were that cheap, and when AK's could be bought for 75.00!!![Edited on February 11, 2013 at 11:01 PM. Reason : .]

FS: Smith and Wesson Model 422 6" barrelAfter contacting S&W, I have learned that this particular pistol was produced in March of 1988.As you can see in the pictures, there are some cosmetic wear on the metal finish. However, this 422 is still in great shape with no rust (despite the scratches and nicks) and functions flawlessly, shooting any .22lr ammo you feed it reliably. It is quite accurate, consistent, and smooth. Included are:1 factory 10 round magazine4 factory 12 round magazinesOriginal grips.Aftermarket grips.I found it comfortable to have the stock/factory grip on one side and the aftermarket grip on the other. However, there is a complete set of each (left and right sides) so you can mix/match as you please. This gun is great for lefties as the magazine release is in the center of the pistol grip; Ambidextrous! Also, it has a threaded barrel. If you have a silencer, you can buy an adapter bushing (~$25) and this Model 422 is ready to have a silencer attached. I am asking $450. No trades please. I have too many toys and need to liquidate this asset. I am located in Raleigh. Prefer FTF, but will ship via FFL on your dime. Must have valid CCW or Pistol Purchase Permit and be willing to sign a bill of sale. [Edited on February 12, 2013 at 1:12 PM. Reason : .]

Anyone got a dirt cheap, reliable, fun 22lr pistol they would be willing to sell a buddy of mine? He's in the process of getting his pistol permit now, lives in Apex I think, might be his first gun purchase.I know adder and Hiro might have had some available earlier.I live in Charlotte though, so if you have a good deal I would just be putting you in touch with him. Good guy. Thanks in advance!

I have an AMT 380, the early model with the grip and the thumb (Hammer) safety in mint condition with box papers holster. 325.00 obo 919-741-1329 = will try to post some pictures later on. FTF in Raleigh CCH or P to P.

he would probably like that, but i know he isnt spending over 200 bucks, so i dont want to insult you.i know nothing about AMT guns.they had a semiauto pistol in 30 carbine years ago that was neat, and arnold used one in the first terminator i think (45), but thats about it.
2/20/2013 4:28:45 PM
these are very durable, stainless steel and a good compact design - for 200-300 you get a Keltec, they are light and the work. However, this little pistol is going to last forever. My Keltec broke immediately, and they fixed it for free, however it does not instill confidence.
