i'm a wii owner! my gf got me one for xmas. she's a keeper. i think this is the most excited i've been about anything i got for xmas since i got a bike when i was 7.

^^I asked someone at Gamestop the same question about PS2 Kramer guitars and he said February, so I would assume then. Although, we all know how knowledgeable the employees at Gamestop are.

V Funny you should say that, I was just talking to one of my friends who just got a Wii a few weeks ago. He said he only played it a few hours a week but his wife would bitch at him all the time about it when he did, and then she started playing it all the time.

I got one of these on Wednesday and I'm pretty impressed so far.

I went out today and bought used copies of Zelda, RE4, & Metroid 3. (buy 2 get 1 free)

I rarely buy before I try, but they all had pretty decent reviews online. Zelda is impressive so far.

oddly enough with never as much as looking at one of these devices I became an owner when the in-laws bought the sports pack for both us and my bro in-law and his fiance for x-mas.

I just completed Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for the Wii. It made for a good sequel with all the returning characters plus a host of new ones. Apparently, or so I heard, you can import some character information from the old game cube memory card to the Wii but I didn’t realize this until afterwards. It was still a very solid game.

I heard that Ike will be the playable character for this generation of Smash Bro which I'm looking forward to.

This game has always had interesting themes. The obvious ones of racial/cultural/etc tolerance with Beorc & Laguz, and the pro-peace ones. I found it especially funny though when they talked about the people trying to stir up war as people who likely avoided fighting in the last war and yet they still have a “Bring ‘em on” attitude.

This game also became a lot less black and white since you got to fight for armies on each side of any given war, and when it made clear Goddesses of Order & Chaos are not the same thing as good & evil.

Graphically speaking it wasn’t a huge increase from the last game, but it was strong when it came to game play.
