I think people are right to be alarmed with overt hate signals coming from unelected magnates with influence over our government.

We should however, not lose sight of the slight of hand game that Donald Trump likes to play; where he obscures some awful news with some terrible news. As much of a shitstain as Elon Musk is, I think his Nazi salute was designed in part to distract us from Trump's investment in private sector AI, the pardoning of J6 terrorists, and the dismantling of our government intelligence and justice departments
