the Dolphins didn’t truly tank, which was my pointwe have a much, much better QB than they did last season[Edited on March 17, 2020 at 1:17 PM. Reason : .]
3/17/2020 1:12:05 PM
Dolphins been tanking for years tho
3/17/2020 1:20:50 PM
mehthey’re 28-36 over the last 4 seasonsthey cleaned house before last season much like we are in the middle of doing now and have been competitive in free agency so far[Edited on March 17, 2020 at 1:26 PM. Reason : .]

What kind of return do we expect for trading Cam?
3/17/2020 2:08:02 PM
not much seeing as how they have zero leverage it’s more likely that they’ll cut him at this point
3/17/2020 2:15:23 PM
I'd say a like a 4th/5th at best. At worst they just cut him.If there are multiple teams interested, we'll get something. A conditional 7th at least. Doesn't make sense to let him hit the market when you can get him for what will most likely be a draft pick who won't make your team.Alternatively, offer him to the Texans for like Laremy Tunsil and a 3rd]
3/17/2020 2:15:51 PM
unless they value saving $$$ over a late-round draft pick
3/17/2020 2:26:13 PM
I don't think Cam is going to come cheap. It's why he's no longer a Panther.
3/17/2020 2:30:25 PM
^correct
3/17/2020 2:41:31 PM
which is why I think it’s more likely that he’ll be cut
3/17/2020 2:47:29 PM
It's not going to save teams money to sign him as a friend aren't compared to trading for him.
3/17/2020 2:49:44 PM
when does friend aren'tcy officially begin?
3/17/2020 3:49:34 PM
Stuff for a salad or a little before I get to work on it and call it a little bit of the day
3/17/2020 3:55:00 PM
i think if we had played our cards right (which might have included keeping him for the first few games of the season to prove he's healthy) we could've gotten a 2nd for camwe did not play our cards right and most likely will be releasing him at this point
3/17/2020 4:02:23 PM
Lol they were never going to get a second for cam.
3/17/2020 4:23:14 PM

I'm almost certain at this point that Tepper is a Dan Snyder-tier owner and the thing I'm most worried about is Brady having some initial success with the offense before he gets hired away as a HC after year 2 and we're doomed to a decade of garbage after two "good" years which are like an overchieving 6-10/7-9 and then a 10-6 paper tiger that makes the playoffs due to the schedule

IMO signing Bridgewater was the best possible scenario at the QB position. I don't think Cam will ever be the dynamic playmaker he was a few years ago. Now the Panthers have an accurate QB who can get the ball to all these shifty playmakers. Bridgewater is still relatively young (27) and could very well be the long term solution. I definitely would be surprised if they drafted a QB first now.I hope Cam comes back and becomes an All-Pro caliber QB again, I enjoy watching him play. But there was no way in hell they could waste another year of CMC on the large chance that Newton wouldn't be 100%.

3/17/2020 7:27:49 PM
Panthers did resign Tre Boston
3/18/2020 7:57:23 AM
3/18/2020 1:18:20 PM
LMAO signed Boston and cut Eric Reid to just add to all the dead money. Hurney making Hurney moves.
3/18/2020 1:28:29 PM
3/18/2020 2:51:51 PM
My guess is the Reid transaction was a Rhule decision.
3/19/2020 9:19:38 AM
I just don't like Tre Boston. He's great at highlight reel plays. Like exciting interceptions and blown coverages leading to touchdowns.]
3/19/2020 2:44:12 PM
Just wanted to add that I really like the Bridgewater signing. IMO, he's perfect for the offense brady wants to run and the weapons the panthers already have on offense (Moore, Cmac). All the other moves this offseason ... mehhhh
3/19/2020 3:34:18 PM
When are they building the new stadium? Is it gonna be bigger than Atalanta? Better be.
3/23/2020 10:27:50 AM
Welcome back JB
3/23/2020 11:38:26 AM
Kyle Allen traded to the Redskins
3/23/2020 2:41:23 PM
for a 5th
3/23/2020 2:44:15 PM
Hahahaha suckers
3/23/2020 2:56:26 PM
holy lolalso:
3/23/2020 2:57:16 PM
Signed former XFL/Temple star PJ Walker to upgrade the backup QB spot, which made Allen expendable.
3/23/2020 3:09:51 PM
Allen is fine as a backup QB, makes nothing and is under team control for a couple more years. 5th is great value for him but he was worth 6th or 7th easily. We drafted Will Grier in the 3rd last year and he cant even throw the ball
3/23/2020 9:02:20 PM
Crazy that we likely got more for Kyle fucking Allen than we will get for Cam[Edited on March 23, 2020 at 9:05 PM. Reason : Asd]
3/23/2020 9:05:04 PM
it only takes one team and Washington was that one (dumb) team
3/23/2020 9:13:39 PM
3/23/2020 9:42:20 PM
Louis Riddick and some of the other ESPN guys love the PJ Walker signing. Riddick said he wouldn't be surprised if Walker is the starter at some point this year. He said he's got just as much "arm talent" as Bridgewater but is a much more explosive athlete. And he likes Bridgewater.I haven't seen him play, but anyone who draws comparisons to Mahomes and R Wilson is worth a flier
3/24/2020 9:31:02 AM
Yeah, I don't think a guy who couldn't make the Colts roster is going to start.I mean I like the signing and I think he's a definite upgrade over Allen (who is not good), but he's not gonna start unless Bridgewater gets hurt.
3/24/2020 10:58:37 AM
I wanna go ahead and go on the record as saying that I think we’re gonna regret letting Cam go and I expect him to have a big season wherever he plays[Edited on March 24, 2020 at 4:21 PM. Reason : .]
3/24/2020 4:02:18 PM
I'm gonna go on record and say he will never be the same player he was during his MVP season
3/24/2020 4:07:59 PM
we'll miss him as soon as this makeshift o-line gets Teddy B maimed
3/24/2020 5:31:12 PM
I wanna go on record as saying both Justin and tgl will probably be right.
3/24/2020 5:36:58 PM
3/24/2020 11:18:53 PM
I think you don’t know what you’re talking about
3/25/2020 12:22:04 AM
I think healthy he is an asset to whoever he plays for. I think injured, he is not an asset he plays for. Sorry for such sanguine analysis
3/25/2020 12:48:15 AM
my expectation is Cam's 30s will look a lot like Randall Cunninghams
