Just heard we got Rick Fox to come out of retirement.
2/18/2010 3:23:23 PM
wowi cant believe another team didnt offer more for thomas
2/18/2010 3:41:17 PM
Trade sounds good. Was in court when I got text about it. I was very happy with trade. Like someone said, as long as 1st rounder is not a lottery pick and we protected those rights, then I am good with trade. III
2/18/2010 3:44:41 PM
and now they've acquired theo ratliff from the spurs for a future 2nd round pick
2/18/2010 4:31:00 PM
^wow thought that was a joke when you posted it until i confirmed iti guess it will help inside defense as he is a helluva shot blocker...but he's almost 37 years old too
2/18/2010 4:34:03 PM
Wow. There's a name I haven't heard in a while. Dude used to be one hell of a shotblocker -- tore it up on my NBA fantasy team.
2/18/2010 4:37:01 PM
well diop appears useless a fair amount of the time, and chandler is never healthy, so getting a big body for cheap that larry brown is already familiar and comfortable with is a decent pick up. still, hard to get excited about a 37 year old.
2/18/2010 4:40:20 PM
just hope Thomas is ready to play the right way
2/18/2010 5:18:04 PM
great trade, now we just need to get matched up with Boston or Atlanta in the first round which means we need to stop this losing skid we've been on.
2/18/2010 5:21:39 PM
love the Thomas trade.last three trades have been all about getting some athletes on this team. We were the least athletic team last year, subsequently leading the league in shots blocked. Now we've got some guys (other than Wallace) that aren't nailed to to the floor (like Adam Morrison, Okafor, Matt Carrol, Raja Bell, Diop) Even Felton, as quick as he is, can't finish at the rack.I think this trade makes us better.
2/18/2010 5:49:57 PM
im really glad we backed away from the TJ Ford/Brandon Rush for DJ, Nazr, Gerald deal at the last minute. I hate that trade.
2/18/2010 6:14:08 PM
2/18/2010 9:25:30 PM
Felton looks like he's gained weight compared to his younger days.. looks a lot bulkier
2/18/2010 9:27:23 PM
the added weight may help him in other facets of his game. no clue, but even in college he could get in the lane but couldn't finish as well as others with this ability.
2/18/2010 11:02:33 PM
2/19/2010 2:15:41 AM
^ I think he meant Henderson not WallaceWay to back down a guy that isn't even there Boris [Edited on February 19, 2010 at 7:19 PM. Reason : .]
2/19/2010 7:18:37 PM
no he meant wallace, it was close to being a done dealbrown wanted another pg i think[Edited on February 19, 2010 at 7:38 PM. Reason : as]
2/19/2010 7:32:36 PM
ummmm... actually, he didn't mean WallaceThe Bobcats GM was on the Pack Man show talking about it earlier.[Edited on February 19, 2010 at 7:51 PM. Reason : Thomas and Ratliff are showing up so far]
2/19/2010 7:43:05 PM
we were really close to trading wallace for tj ford before the season. thats what i was thinking about. recently it might've been different though. [Edited on February 19, 2010 at 8:11 PM. Reason : a]
2/19/2010 8:06:03 PM
There was no talk of trading our best player in Gerald Wallace plus Nazr and DJ Augustin for those two clowns. We were only after the PF position at the deadline and filled that need.Go back and listen to the Pack Man interview this afternoon with Rod Higgins.50-50 at the half and looking good on both ends of the floor so far.
2/19/2010 8:15:33 PM
I'll never understand this team...account for 40% of the nets wins but handily beat teams like the cavs.
2/19/2010 9:34:48 PM
Nice win over the CavsTyrus Thomas had a nice game25 min, 9 pts, 12 reb, 6 blocks
2/19/2010 9:43:46 PM
HUGE win last nightTonight vs the Bucks has all the makings of a letdown game though.
2/20/2010 10:25:48 AM
if thomas continues to play that way, we might be a second round team
2/20/2010 10:39:15 AM
wow what a game. i just saw highlights. but i mean it was UNC playing UNC
2/20/2010 10:42:47 AM

pretty much, hickson is the law
2/20/2010 4:18:06 PM
just got back from charlotte. Awesome game last night.got to see lebron, antwan, hickson, and a couple others boarding the bus in front of their hotel before the game.
2/20/2010 4:23:31 PM
That was a great game to be at last night. Early on, it felt like the bobcats were down 10 but it was fairly even, then the 3rd quarter defined the gameWe paid like $50 for standing room tickets, but spent the whole game at the club level
2/20/2010 4:46:11 PM
ahah]

Charlotte Bobcats vs. the Milwaukee Primozes]
2/20/2010 8:09:49 PM
thomas took out that whole front row on that play lol
2/20/2010 8:31:52 PM
losing to a team fighting us to stay in the playoffs
2/20/2010 10:06:59 PM
20-7 at home7-20 on the road
2/21/2010 12:19:12 PM
^i never understood how that can happen to a professional team. in college theyre kids so i understand being at home giving you confidence. but as a professional you know you made it and should have confidence everywhere you play
2/21/2010 12:27:00 PM
The road woes continueThis 6 game stretch coming up is going to be brutal. Hopefully they'll find a way to to steal a couple games and come out of it still at .500@Cips@Jazz@GrizzMavs@BostonLakers
2/21/2010 1:13:44 PM
no one could shoot the ball last nightjackson had an antawnesque performance and fouled out, diaw clanked several treys and the team blew a late lead
2/23/2010 10:31:05 AM
That was one they really needed with this upcoming schedule getting tougher. When Jack has off nights this team really struggles.
2/23/2010 11:01:33 AM
That 3 at the end of the quarter looked like it gave Jack and the team a spark right there.Maybe we can steal this one to make up for that bad Clipper loss.
2/24/2010 9:41:10 PM
We are getting absolutely jobbed by the refs in this 2nd halfand fuck Kyle Korver [Edited on February 24, 2010 at 11:15 PM. Reason : right when I say that LB gets ejected]
2/24/2010 11:14:15 PM
lol larry brown just got ejected
2/24/2010 11:15:19 PM
Seriously is Donaghy reffing this game?it's gotten beyond ridiculous[Edited on February 24, 2010 at 11:27 PM. Reason : fuck that bullshit!]

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4951410MJ TO BUY THE BOBCATSThis is the best thing that could have happened out of the whole deal. I was definitely not in favor of turning the team over to yet another out of town businessman. Now let's just hope MJ keeps putting money in to turn this team into a contender.
2/27/2010 9:01:47 AM
^ Actually, it's hard to say whether this will be good or bad.Bob had a "reputation" for being cheap but he was really anything but when it comes down to it.Despite losing tens of millions of dollars annually he agreed to big deals with Okafor and Wallace. Approved a trade for a big contract in Richardson... re-signed Carroll to a moderately big deal, took on Nazr's salary, etc. Now, we know Jordan doesn't have a lot of money so he can't have put up a HUGE percentage of the team. Last I saw he was valued at $400 million two years ago. Let's be conservative and say that's $300 million now.The team was purchased for $300 million so we'll say it was valued at ~225-$250 million now given the huge cash flow drain. The new investors know they'll get some immediate short term cash flow relief in ~18 months when the owners lock out the players, but what if they want to plug the leaks immediately? We could see a big overhaul this offseason, especially if we fail to make the playoffs this year. They may elect to let Felton (who has quietly emerged into one of the best PG's the East this season) walk if he finds the $6-$8 million per he's looking for. Chandler is expiring so he could be shopped though I don't know anyone would want him in the offseason. He'd be more of a trade deadline addition. They could "Phoenix Suns" us and fill the bench exclusively with veteran minimum contracts instead of role players like Nazr, Diop, etcWe'll see but I don't think letting a proven bad management team (Jordan) take over more control of the organization is clearly a good thing. What is good however is our win over Memphis. For god's sake if we miss the playoffs with this roster I will shit myself. We need either Tyson or Nazr back immediately, Theo won't be able to log these kinds of minutes for much longer.Oh yeah, and glad to see Boris coming on strong lately we needed him to stop being such a nightly negative. If we can just get any production out of DJ we could find ourselves back in contention for the 6 seed.[Edited on February 27, 2010 at 10:50 AM. Reason : a]

first act of business, get rid of the minnesota wildish logo
2/27/2010 1:25:51 PM
Jordan's gonna reactivate himself so he can sell Bobcat "23" jerseys
2/27/2010 2:35:39 PM
this is just another reason for me to hate the Bobcats.
