6/21/2009 4:04:32 PM

I wonder what's the odd against Spain will be. probably at least 2 goals.
6/21/2009 4:24:34 PM
spain/brazil could be epic given the current form of each
6/21/2009 4:25:20 PM
We can't let this result blind us to the fact that Bob Bradley still needs to be fired.
6/21/2009 4:30:43 PM
yea this game had nothing to do with bradley, hes still a horrible coach
6/21/2009 4:37:52 PM
WOW!
6/21/2009 4:49:16 PM
Some of you people posted scenarios earlier this week that weren't even true. We are into the Semis vrs ESPANA! hola!!!!!
6/21/2009 5:20:34 PM
well i didnt expect the odds to happen at all, but i'll take it. hopefully they atleast show some heart and player better against better competition on wednesday
6/21/2009 5:23:20 PM
Of course this is the ONE game that ESPN has decided not to re-air.
6/21/2009 7:51:39 PM
Holy cow. It's not very often that you're 3 points and 6 goals down on a team going into the final game, and you end up beating them out.
6/21/2009 8:06:25 PM
lol. good thing i decided to hang out with friends all day today....i didnt think i would miss anything special, haha
6/21/2009 10:32:28 PM
I'm not shocked at all. Brazil had scored no less than 3 goals on every team they played going into the final day and Egypt did give up 3 goals vs Brazil, so it's not like they have the best defense in the world. I noticed Gooch used his left foot to clear the ball once today. If he had done that vs Italy we probably would have tied.
6/21/2009 11:17:40 PM
i dont see how you aren't even a little shocked...i keep saying italy blow and are getting old (and i better not hear any other counter points cause this just proved it), but they did just win the world cup. and the usa...they have shown nothing impressive and other than the first 45 of the italy game, didnt even look like they wanted to be here. so i am very very very shocked...a) when is the last time italy has been beaten this bad in a tournament?and b) when has the usa ever come up with a result with their backs completely against the wall?[Edited on June 22, 2009 at 12:58 AM. ^I was half joking, but I knew Brazil had the talent to put 3 in the net I just figured we would win 2-0, or 2-1 IF we even managed to win.
6/22/2009 1:30:32 AM
man, the egyptian papers are blasting the Egyptian coach. He's getting skewered over the starting lineup, which had some of the weakest players on the team. He switched up after halftime but it was too late. The US played really determined yesterday, you could see it, they wanted it more. Good win for US of A
6/22/2009 9:48:41 AM
Good win for USA. I don't think any one is delusional enough to expect a win versus Spain, but this buys another two games, as their is a 3rd place game. Should be good experience for the younger guys.

6/22/2009 4:15:35 PM
The Charlie Davies goal was nice. It was just a hustle play all the way.Dempsey once again proves his unpredictability by scoring a kickass header.I didn't even know when this game was played because I didn't think we had a chance to move on.
6/22/2009 4:17:57 PM
^^I thought I was going to break something when he brought Connor Casey on, a fatter, slower, less-skilled Wayne Rooney.
6/22/2009 5:22:28 PM
^ hahahahaDitto. On a side note, I get scared whenever the ball is within 10 yards of Spector.

lol don't worry, it's the same starting XI as the Egypt game except Boca for Bornstein at LBI would have liked to see Dempsey up top with Jozy with Davies as a sub in the 2nd half and somebody like Torres or Feilhaber at RM. But I figured he'd go with the same lineup, which makes sense
6/24/2009 2:12:59 PM
Over/under 60 minutes for Jozy?
