if you do ever need to look up a word someone asks for, this is a kick ass dictionary to do it with: http://dict.regex.info/cgi-bin/j-e/jis/tty/dict

Just make sure to click "Search only commonly-used words" because it can get bogged down with random stuff otherwise.

I have yet to get an english-japanese translation, or vice versa. I usually just get simple spanish or german.

I can usually tell that most of my translation questions are middle school - high school kids doing their Spanish homework.

I had this problem when I was trying to do it on my laptop (and don't submit Feedback, they sent me to a lame-ass thread that had NOTHING to do with my issue). Update Firefox. Worked right after that.

I had that problem a lot at first..for whatever reason it just stopped happening. Try clearing your cache/update Firefox to the latest version.

I do it at work, and I 10 hours a day 4 days a week, and whenever basketball is on at home. I'm not a big TV watcher and John is, so i normally sit and chacha while he's watching sports.

My goal is to average 100 a week, half to pay off a small student loan i have, the other half to spend on a vacation i have in October.

It says right now I've completed 2243 searches since i started March 2nd.

yeah, i don't make enough money in my current job, but I am grateful to just have a job. This has really helped out paying for extra things i was previously on the fence about asking my parents for help over.

I think the problem with most people, is they are too motivated by dollars, and not enough by cents for this to keep them motivated, which is why you see that big drop off after a week of signups.

^ exactly. I don't even think about the money when I am doing it. It is really just fun for me. Then you check your account and there's $300 in there.

I am in the same position. I have been unemployed but I recently took a job that will be a huge pay cut for me. I plan to make up the difference with ChaCha. I will be able to ChaCha at work sometimes, and if i just ChaCha for a couple hours after work I should come close to making up the difference.

ok so i started sunday. before thursday, i had a few QAs that trickled in.. although i thought it was only on thursdays. now that thursday has passed, will more come in? i'm at 86% right now, so lets say some QAs come in the next few days, and i get above 95.. Will I be starting at Top Guide status then? or will I have to wait until next Thurs to have my pay start counting as Top Guide....

I just got a question from some kid who was asking things in his history like what is a clitoris and what does it mean if your cherry is popped. The question I recieved was something to the effect what are you some 40 year old creep getting too excited about this? It was listed as a conversational question so I cited a google search page for creep and replied "We are here to answer the questions you submit. Does this mean you are a creep for asking these questions?" Ha hope that was okay!

^ sometimes it is just slow. Mine is doing the same thing tonight. Taking about 10 minutes or so for questions that I have answered to show up in my Current Earnings. But they show up eventually

Actually, it seems that it is running about 30 minutes behind right now, probably because of the high traffic. I just checked and a question I answered at 9:00 just showed up at 9:30.

I think the Guide Handbook says on the 15th it goes through, and takes within 5-7 business days.
