LOVED how the Wake player got called with the roughing the kicker penalty, and he catches the flag, holds it for a while, and then throws it up. AHAHAHAHA!! That was hilarious!
11/16/2008 12:51:24 PM
Two wins on the same day?!?! HOLY SHIT! I wish I could have seen the Bell Tower last night.

11/16/2008 1:05:58 PM
what happened to dude's head on the far right of the first pic??
11/16/2008 1:08:31 PM
shopped. take a closer look at the pixels
11/16/2008 1:22:26 PM
Lol, my guess is his head was in one of the shots taken to make the panaramic view but not the others, i've had the same kind of thing happen.
11/16/2008 1:36:56 PM
The sky was BEAUTIFUL at halftime!!!!!! Thanks for those pics. I took some as well, but not nearly on that quality (as they were on my camera phone).
11/16/2008 2:12:15 PM
yeah that rainbow was pretty intense
11/16/2008 2:13:09 PM
^ Didn't see the rainbow from the student section. Only the transitions of colors. So above pic is more special. Loved it.
11/16/2008 2:13:55 PM
the only thing that sucked was how the place emptied out during halftime. I left but came back, and it seemed half as full.
11/16/2008 9:14:23 PM
I missed the game because I have walking pneumonia. Of course the two home games I've missed this season are ECU and WFU.
11/16/2008 9:18:43 PM
^haha don't come to the miami game :p
11/16/2008 9:22:53 PM
^ , I was there for the epic W&M win.[Edited on November 16, 2008 at 9:26 PM. Reason : I'm only good for beating FCS schools]

^^ That's what I thought. He caught it, looked at it, looked at the ref, and then threw back over his head.
11/17/2008 10:34:58 AM
nice job to the 5 dudes from wake forest who decided not to come back into the stadium at the half because of rainof course half of our fans left as well - the rain wasn't that bad people
11/17/2008 11:15:43 AM
^ Exactly! It really wasn't. Guess they're the same pussies who left during the USF game where the BOTTOM FELL OUT. Dah well.
11/17/2008 11:25:13 AM
Is there a video of this incident?
11/17/2008 11:31:43 AM
i don't think it should of been a flag. honestly, what do you want him to do? get on his knees and softly lay it on the grass? the ref just about hit him with it and i think he picked it up out of reaction, he could of made a much bigger scene.i caught the made FG by Wake in the 3rd qtr and threw it back.

Wilson was named ACC rookie of the week. This article also speaks on the (lack of) interceptions record he's approaching:http://www.gopack.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=9200&ATCLID=1626937[Edited on November 17, 2008 at 3:12 PM. Reason : ]

all i can say is, here's to him working toward andre woodson's record. he's about halfway there. i'll feel really bad for him though if he throws a pick in one of the first three attempts against UNC.
11/17/2008 3:16:47 PM
yeah, hopefully we didn't just jinx him
11/17/2008 3:22:25 PM
that was my plan. i'm actually more impressed with his "pass attempts without a pick 6 record". i don't think he's thrown one yet, whereas Beck and Evans were in an active competition as to who could throw the most.
11/17/2008 3:32:41 PM
RW's only int was on a hail mary in the Clemson game.
11/17/2008 3:44:50 PM
His INT was on a long pass, I don't think it was a hail mary though. Just 1 on 1 coverage going into the end zone.
11/17/2008 4:56:11 PM
I wish Dajuan Morgan hadn't left, our defense would be a lot more fun to watch with Morgan and Irving both blowing people up.
11/17/2008 4:56:51 PM
I just think it is really funny that a lot of TWW coaches, or idiots, were calling for us to break Glennon's redshirt not too long ago and now they are all sucking RW off.[Edited on November 17, 2008 at 6:17 PM. Reason : ^Oh man DeJuan Morgan, Willie Young, and Nate Irving would be nasty!]
11/17/2008 6:16:46 PM
i'll eat the crow on that one.
11/17/2008 6:21:31 PM
it was double coverage... the safety was late but made an awesome play on the ball, the receiver kind of quit on the route too... it definitely wasen't a bad throw.[Edited on November 17, 2008 at 6:22 PM. Reason : .]
11/17/2008 6:22:41 PM
11/17/2008 6:29:42 PM
^^^^ most people that were saying that, iirc, were calling for glennon only if wilson was going to be out for longer than a few games.
11/17/2008 6:32:42 PM
^exactly
11/17/2008 7:10:59 PM
11/17/2008 7:32:16 PM
^^^ well that's what i was saying, but i'm not going to be a douche and try to get out of it.wilson is playing great football and i was wrong.
11/17/2008 8:37:06 PM
just to pessimistic
11/17/2008 8:45:16 PM
do u think glennon starts for us next year? or do we still roll with RW?
11/18/2008 12:14:40 AM
^if RW is still on the team next year (baseball) then we start him; not to jinx him or anything but the past month he has probably been the best QB in the ACCwe haven't had a playmaker like him at QB in a long, long time (not counting Rivers b/c he was a pocket guy). RW will prob. only play one more year of football b/c he will be eligible for pro baseball draft year after next. start him next year and the glennon starts as redshirt sophomore and is starter for two or three yearslets not forget that Glennon still hasn't shown anything declaring he is going to be awesome; could very well be but we have no idea. Wilson is now a proven commodity and a darn good quarterback; like i said probably the best quarterback in the ACC at this point
11/18/2008 12:19:54 AM
^ I really hope he doesn't only play one more season...that's REALLYYYYY suck! Let's not think like that. He's gonna play 4 years.
11/18/2008 12:24:43 AM
^Russell is our '09 QB. As of now, he's SOLID, and keeps getting better. Glennon gets some snaps here-and-there while RW is nursing some minor injuries [NCShUt]. He makes some freshman mistakes, but shows that he has much potential that will be realized after he gets some experience under his helmet. His style will also be complimented with the help of our future OL, which sounds promising (according to some TWW reports, at least). '10 season? Up in the air. RW might go to MLB. And it might not matter if he does or not. As of now, RW is our present and near-future. He's been a pleasant surprise this season, and looks to be one of, if not thee best QB in the ACC. But Glennon is "The Future", and the future looks promising. Dude's funny looking, but he is 6'6", he's got the skills, and he's got an arm!(check this, if you haven't seen it. Again, Glennon is our "The Future")http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6jJmLP8tV4 (shamelessly biased positive thinking)[Edited on November 18, 2008 at 1:10 AM. Reason : ]
11/18/2008 12:52:44 AM
^ Good post. And good video. I agree, I'm satisfied with the present, most definitely. The future...I hadn't heard much, but Glennon (per that video) looks solid. I think it'd be nice to have a 6'6 QB again. P Rivers was like 6'5 right, 235 right? So, we'll see. And he is very awkward looking, but I'mma give him a chance. I like the fact that he has an arm, but if he can't connect, then what's the point? Ya know. Curious. [Edited on November 18, 2008 at 1:08 AM. Reason : .]
