ahahaha "it's a DUTCH OVEN!!!"
6/13/2008 4:34:28 PM
holy hell
6/13/2008 4:34:57 PM
wow
6/13/2008 4:35:03 PM
5 in the league, 2 in the Carling Cup, 1 in the Champions League.
6/13/2008 4:35:09 PM
ahahah DUTCH OVENsuperb strike by sneijder, awesome game. i picked portugal to win this, but i dont care if im wrong, id love to see holland win it all. they are a fun team to watchahaha france and italy tied for last at the bottom with the exact same stats. i pray they draw in their final game[Edited on June 13, 2008 at 4:37 PM. 6/13/2008 4:35:59 PM
did homeboy just say "its a Dutch oven cause the French are toast" ?? !!haha
6/13/2008 4:37:21 PM
If only the Dutch could put their U-12 team out there against Romania and let the Romanians win to knock out Italy and France.
6/13/2008 4:37:27 PM
well the dutch are definitely gonna play their "reserves". cause a loss doesnt hurt them at all. so yea i wont mind romania winning.
6/13/2008 4:38:56 PM
ugh...that collision is still pretty tough to watch in the romania game
6/13/2008 4:42:28 PM
glad I caught the Holland/France game.Really really entertaining. France looked the better of the two for a decent chunk but couldnt get anything to go in. And I am now a huge fan of Ribery. THat dude was playing balls out for the whole match. I can definately see why people say he is the heir apparent to Zidane. Too bad no one on the fucking team could do anything else.Holland definately looks dangerous
6/13/2008 8:01:54 PM
well netherlands finished their chances...neither italy or france finished anything so
6/13/2008 9:44:56 PM
netherlands and portugal are the teams to beat so far in this tourney, no doubt(unless spain looks absolutely dominating tomorrow). group of death has been highly entertaining outside that romania v france match. does anyone how they are televising next rounds games?..since they are on at the same time
6/13/2008 10:09:55 PM
according to soccernet theres one game each day
6/13/2008 11:07:07 PM
the euro2008 website shows both group games being at the same time 20:45.when i meant next round, i meant next batch of games in the group stage, not as in quarterfinal, semifinal, final round...my bad, i can see how that sounded wrong[Edited on June 13, 2008 at 11:15 PM. Reason : f]
6/13/2008 11:15:00 PM
ohok my bad, i dunno
6/13/2008 11:21:19 PM
yeah I think they usually play the final fixtures in group play at the same time, I thought that's how they did it in the World Cup too... I could be wrongFrance was jobbed over on that blown pk.. a goal there completely changes the game as France were straight dominating... doesn't excuse many of their blown chances, including that Henry breakaway but still that's a pretty huge missed call. Props to the Dutch for slamming the door numerous times
6/14/2008 12:21:11 AM
the simultaneous games are basically to ensure that teams don't play out a particular result after knowing the fate of the other game. just like on the last day of the premier league.[Edited on June 14, 2008 at 12:28 AM. Reason : g]
6/14/2008 12:22:01 AM
i know i know. but what channels? espn2 and espn classic live at the same time? or back to back with the 2nd game tape delayed?
6/14/2008 12:30:02 AM
ribery the heir apparent to zidane? hahahahahai gotta say he's exceeded my expectations but france really needs some stars to fill in zidane and other players shoes that have left, right now they just dont seem like a top caliber team.and netherlands just seem strong at nearly every position, even their bench is able to come in without bringing down the play, im impressed.
6/14/2008 12:30:56 AM
the netherlands have always had talent...theyve just played the wrong players as a team...like kluivert.
6/14/2008 12:34:37 AM
yeah netherland is pretty consistent, all the way back to 94 world cupits amazing the guys they have on their bench currently though, its a really strong squad but im not sure about their defense.

^wtf is up with sunday? 2 games on the same channel at the same time?
6/14/2008 12:55:59 AM
france has so much talent, theyre just poorly coached. I dont know why the hell they are starting toulalan and makalele, those guys have had such a negative impact. I hate to say it but they could actually use patrick viera
6/14/2008 1:05:37 AM
^^ i just copied it from the frst google link i found. i guess the bottom line is one of the games ison espn, the other's on espn2. i think.found the correct one...http://soccernet.espn.go.com/fixtures?league=uefa.euro&date=20080601&type=month&cc=5901[Edited on June 14, 2008 at 1:16 AM. i dunno, i think benzema, henry and anelka are all better than trezeguet. He never does shit in anything.
6/14/2008 1:51:38 AM
Dude is pretty damn young so he has a lot to learn. I mean look at Van Persie and C. Ronaldo. They got playing time when they were real young and look at them now
6/14/2008 2:00:07 AM
trezeguet? hes like 31 years old. He was on the team when they won the world cup in 98. Benzema, Nasri and Gomis are all under 22 years old i think so they should have a good team in the future.
6/14/2008 11:00:32 AM
TREZEGUETTREZEGUETOOH LA LA

spain looking good down the right flank.
6/14/2008 12:12:34 PM
torres poaches a goal
6/14/2008 12:15:56 PM
nice reach there
6/14/2008 12:16:56 PM
wow. nearly a terrific response by elmander i think
6/14/2008 12:17:36 PM
puyol off for an injury and albiol comes on for him. will this derail spain?sweden need to capitalize on setpieces...possibly a spanish weakness. [Edited on June 14, 2008 at 12:27 PM. Reason : ]
6/14/2008 12:25:46 PM
and sergio ramos, in true real madrid fashion, dives.
6/14/2008 12:30:16 PM
the commentators just said vicente del bosque will be the spanish coach after this tournament. great to see him back...i hated madrid but he was a very good coach.
6/14/2008 12:33:23 PM
casillas, why didn't you claim that cross?
6/14/2008 12:34:09 PM
ibrahimovic scores. sweden level.superb crossfield cross but in truth, poor defending by the center backs and casillas might have done better.
6/14/2008 12:36:01 PM
heja sverige
6/14/2008 12:42:08 PM
not a lot to choose between the sides at the moment. service to torres and villa has dried up.
6/14/2008 12:46:17 PM
looked like a penalty to me for spain but nothing doing says the ref.
6/14/2008 12:48:58 PM
he's just doing his part to keep up the "blown call every game" guarantee
6/14/2008 12:55:55 PM
david silva got the shit knocked out of him, that was definitely a pk
6/14/2008 12:57:24 PM
how do you not take that shot
6/14/2008 1:06:57 PM
ibrahimovic off, rosenberg on...anybody know what happened?
6/14/2008 1:08:20 PM
from the bbc commentary...1808: I'm hearing that Sweden have taken off Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a precaution over his knee injury. A wise move, but a shame nevertheless.
6/14/2008 1:20:12 PM
o hell how did spain not score there
6/14/2008 1:20:45 PM
