NO traded up to get demario
4/27/2008 2:06:43 PM
and I'm glad we did, I would have been okay with taking Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie Jr. III in the first, Dan Connor in the second, and getting DeMario in the third... but we still had a good draft
4/27/2008 4:00:24 PM
I didn't realize we had so many declare.
4/27/2008 4:19:38 PM
the majority of them were seniors . . . so why no declare?
4/27/2008 4:22:23 PM
i like how my Jets did take QB after all. Aigne from Tennessee. Now this should be a fun QB battle in 2008.
4/27/2008 4:32:43 PM
Hart finally got drafted by the Colts...
4/27/2008 4:39:16 PM

4/27/2008 4:56:22 PM
Hart is a great pickup by the Colts
4/27/2008 5:09:44 PM
wouldn't mind seeing the panthers take paul smith (tulsa QB) with one of their last 3 picks in the 7th round.
4/27/2008 5:14:23 PM
what i want to know is why hasnt anyone drafted ali highsmith from lsudude started all 4 years at LSU playing in the SEC. i mean christ it's the 7th rd. i dont care if he isnt the fastest guy, i mean look at demeco ryans
4/27/2008 5:17:34 PM
If any LB should already be gone, it's Henderson.
4/27/2008 5:24:09 PM
Raiders got help on both sides of the ball this year. Time to pick ourselves up out of the gutter and make the transition to contenders. good draft year...... al davis still needs to go though
4/27/2008 5:25:39 PM
henderson is garbage
4/27/2008 5:25:57 PM
^I'm not saying Henderson is going to be an NFL starter per se, but by round 7, his ass should have been drafted already.
4/27/2008 5:28:43 PM
yea thats true
4/27/2008 5:29:55 PM
i cant believe some of these clowns that go ahead of guys like highsmith, henderson, zenon, urrutia, blackman, etc...
4/27/2008 5:44:20 PM
4/27/2008 5:46:14 PM

4/27/2008 5:46:24 PM

4/27/2008 6:16:56 PM
Is it just me or is it kind of disrespectful for espn to keep showing woodhead waiting to see if he'll get drafted at the end of the last round?
4/27/2008 6:20:53 PM
4/27/2008 6:37:55 PM
^^He could have told them no to allowing them to videotape him
4/27/2008 6:40:10 PM
haha, thats fucked up that the NFL recognizes the Mr. Irrelevant... have they dont that before?
4/27/2008 6:41:13 PM
4/27/2008 6:43:50 PM
I never remember them bringing out a jerseyI know that ESPN, writers, commentators etc. have recognized it but I never remember the NFL itself doing it like that with the jersey and all[Edited on April 27, 2008 at 6:45 PM. Reason : d]

4/29/2008 7:45:20 PM
any insider mind posting the kiper grades?
5/1/2008 5:56:54 AM
^they've been all over Sportscenter and just about any show on ESPN for the past 4 days. All i know is he gave the Chiefs the best grade of the draft and its followed by the redskins and cowboys. After that, i haven't a clue
5/1/2008 7:00:05 AM
Good job selecting Mendenhall, Bears...

The guy who kept making plays in the Friday afternoon practice was linebacker LeRue Rumph out of North Carolina State. One play he burst through the blocking and made a touch tackle in the backfield. The next segment, he was dropping into coverage and making an interception.Rumph was not drafted last weekend, after playing in 44 games for the Wolfpack. He got on the Chiefs radar screen because he played at Clearwater Central Catholic High School with Marcus Edwards, the team’s pro personnel assistant and son of the head coach.“He got himself on film,” Edwards said after the workout. “He made some plays. Now, he has to do it again.ATA BOY!!!
5/4/2008 6:48:02 PM
damn, there's a few wolfpacks on the chiefs now.
