I just got married a couple weeks ago and for those who don't want a diamond, moissanite is a beautiful alternative.

^^ I'd like that one as a right hand ring in white topaz.
7/31/2008 9:17:45 PM
Wow.. that ring could be a down payment on a house.. but hell.. i'd say yes

I'm gonna go balls out and post what I like I like engagement rings that let the diamond speak for itself, and i strongly dislike multiple stones. a simple princess cut is just fine with me. if i got to choose a stone other than a diamond, i'd go with amber. my favorite is the tiffany princess cut but to offset the simple, I'd want a filigree wedding band with no stones and enough spacing between the wire design that you can see the skin. my thumb ring that i wear daily is filigree flower design, and i absolutely love it. if i could find something similar to that when the time comes, i would retire the thumb ring. well...maybe [Edited on August 1, 2008 at 9:18 AM. That's a lovely ring. I'd recommend wiping it with a clean cloth and taking some more pictures of it.

gf is a big fan of tacori...we'll see, though after seeing blood diamond, she told me not to get her a diamond at all
8/7/2008 11:37:45 AM
I like that one too joie!! this is dorky as hell i know but i thought it would be cool to have a big ass diamond ring set in a titanium band.. i know i know the band isn't $texas to match but it would be strong as fuck and not have to be polished every 30 seconds cause it got scratched to hell like platinum does.
8/7/2008 11:43:58 AM
my fiancee feels empowered at the fact that many people died in the process of bringing her diamond from the ground to her finger.
8/7/2008 2:25:07 PM
Their souls make it sparkle
8/7/2008 2:27:01 PM
Gzusfrk, your ring is gorgeous!after looking at a bunch of their rings, I think Tacori's a little too much for me with the bunches of sidestones and bandwork they've got on nearly everythingbut I like a couple of their solitaires... and this is rather untraditional, but I liked this one a lot:these things cost too much money
8/7/2008 2:48:04 PM

quagmire-get a canadian diamond or moissanite. I really like tacori too. it is over priced, but it is very well made.

Would a girl be offended if i didn't want to wear a real ring and offered to have one tattooed on or something... i just don't like wearing stuff..(hell i couldn't take that one off and play single even if i wanted to) [Edited on August 8, 2008 at 1:16 PM. Reason : .]

not if you "lose" it.

8/9/2008 1:34:09 AM
i have more than one friend that has done the tattoo route. ive thought about it too, i think a ring on my fret hand is going to piss me off
8/9/2008 1:44:23 AM
I personally would be very offended if he got a ring tattooed.
8/9/2008 2:32:22 PM
why? oh and both the guys I know that did it got a ring tattooed but on the top part of the ring (on top of their ring finger) they got the girl's initials/name[Edited on August 9, 2008 at 2:37 PM. Reason : ]
8/9/2008 2:34:10 PM
i'd like to see a picture of thatWhy? It seems to me like they're almost mocking a tradition. I wouldn't care if he took his ring off while doing activities where it would get in the way. [Edited on August 9, 2008 at 2:58 PM. Reason : why?]

My boyfriend will never wear a ring and I have no problems with that.I might get one to wear sometimes, but it'd not be an all the time thing.
8/9/2008 3:28:49 PM
I don't know.. whatever works for you I guess. I'm just not too into tattoos that can be publicly seen.
8/9/2008 3:42:07 PM
who would seriously consider getting a "ring tattoo" over a real ring...that seems weird as shit to me
