So happy the team that everyone said would be winning the super bowl is having such a horrible season and my bears who everyone said would blow is the best team in the NFL right now. I just hope that the panthers pull out a wild card spot and come to Chicago and get their asses handed to them like they did to us last year. And by the way, talk about jumping on the bandwagon, the fans of the Panthers are so pathetic.

Any time a team gets as much recognition as the Panthers did going into the season, you know it's a curse. There's no way this team should have been given that much damn hype. The bottom line is this team is no where in the same league as the Bears, Colts, Chargers, etc. When your running game is non-existent, linebackers can't cover or help in the run, secondary (safeties) suck ass, and the receivers drop easy ass passes, it makes for one hell of a letdown and a long season to follow.I just hope Fox and co. somehow can put it together for the 2nd half of the season..

somebody needs to get fired. my votes for trgovac
10/29/2006 11:40:43 PM
the panthers will be lucky to finish 8-8 and theyre damn sure out of the playoff race, they need 6-2 for a shot and i doubt 10-6 will be good enough anyhow
10/29/2006 11:40:56 PM
Not all football in NC is bad...ASU is 8-1 now after they whipped Furman's asses 40-7. They are #1 and look like they will repeat possibly. Kidd-Brewer was rocking yesterday, I watched on TV.

the panthers fucking suuuuuck.the front office has a lot to work on, i think. they've made some shit decisions recently.our linebacker core is awful. giving morgan all that money was fucking stupid. dude is too injury prone. our offensive line, though banged up, is bad. when was the last time we had a decent rushing attack, 02? maybe 03? delhomme, well, he isn't very reliable, but he's the best we can do right now.the secondary...not resigning marlon mcree was a bad decision. ken lucas hasn't done anything this year. shaun williams is injury prone and hasnt done much. minter is getting old. the d-line should be dominant, but they aren't dont know what to say about that. they just need to step it up. we have great talent on the d-line. so far the only bright spots this year have been keyshawn, smitty and peppers, but they can't do it all
10/30/2006 12:29:13 AM
My question is why did the team give up on Stefan Leflors???Ive been preaching that Delhomme was NOTHING and only made to look good by Steve Smith. But constantly people have said I was wrong. Dude is bi-polar and makes some throws that make you think WTF did he see there?
10/30/2006 12:39:49 AM
i've never, ever, even in the superbowl year, been a fan of delhomme
10/30/2006 12:40:28 AM
^^ this goes hand in hand, but why keep weinkie over le fors? he had the one game winning drive against detroit, but a trained moneky could have beaten that POS team.
10/30/2006 12:41:50 AM
there was no romo chant at the end of the gamebut there were no panther fans lefti hate quarterbacks like Romo and StoneI should have made a sign that said "Tony Romo is a No-No" or something cheesy like that to get on tv though Romo Arrigato Mr. RobotoRomoRomo

haha, foxie apologized to those who bought tickets and said, "maybe the bye week will give us a chance to get healthy and find some players who can finish games." /paraphraseooooooh, burn

I wasn't too excited about the change at QB at first, but I think Romo will be good for the short term. He tends to get Owens involved a lot earlier, and he actually throws to Jason Witten (about damn time, he's a Pro Bowler for Christ's sakes). Plus, at least for one night, the O-Line actually showed up. Ollie Pop is a great replacement at FB, and if they can put up numbers like they did against a great Carolina D, look out. But after all, it is just ONE game, so I shouldn't be too high on my 'Boys. They got some work to do.
